2- Following her

Mr. Alexander~

After leaving my meeting with Diego, I walked to my car, and looked back at the bar, wondering if Diego will go through with my hit. After all, I did give him quite an offer, how can he refuse? I muttered. I went straight home thinking Crystal would be gone, and as I walked in, and towards my bedroom, I began taking off my tie, and stopped in the doorway when I saw Crystal slipping into her nightgown. I stood there for a moment, watching her, and thinking how happy I'll be, once she's gone.

I walked up to her from behind, and rested my hands on her shoulders while leaning over, and kissing her on the cheek. "Good evening, darling." I say in a low quiet tone. Her head tilted to the side, and rested her hands on top of mine, humming as I placed soft kisses along her neck. "How was your night?" I ask, not that I really care how her night was, I just don't need her suspiciously thinking I'm up to something.

She turned around, and gave me a curious, and worried look. "I've been waiting hours for you to come home, and was just getting ready to go to bed. Where on earth have you been all night?" she quietly asked, looking hurt.

"I had some very important business to take care of, and didn't think you would be home, so I stopped and had a couple cocktails with the guys." I said, somewhat telling her the truth.

She looked at me surprised, wrapped one of her arms around me, and cupped the side of my face, with her other hand. "Where else would I be?" she asked, staring me in the eyes. Then furrowed her eyebrows, when I didn't respond to her right away, and began looking at me like I was trying to pick a fight with her.

"I don't know, why don't you tell me?" I questioned, removing her hand from my face, and removed myself from her embrace. I didn't like being questioned, or the way she was looking at me, and wanted to finish removing my clothes, and to get into something more comfortable.

"I haven't a clue what you're talking about, you knew I was off tonight. You even brought up that since we both had a night off, how nice it would be for us to finally go out, and to finally be able to spend quality alone time together" she says, with her hands on her hips.

"I forgot." I groaned. I honestly did forget I said that to her, and I still have no idea why I did. Knowing her, she'll hold that against me, and will keep bringing it up until the day she dies.

As I started unbuttoning my shirt, she walked up in front of me, removed my hands away from my shirt, and began unbuttoning the rest of my buttons. "By the way, I gave the housekeeper the night off, made dinner for us, and placed your dinner into the oven to keep warm," she says, taking my shirt off, and wrapping her arms around me, while kissing my chest.

"Thanks, but I already ate... I don't know why you gave her the night off, I specifically told her that there were many things that need to be done around here, and insisted they needed to be done immediately... why don't you go, and put the food away for me." I say frustrated, pulling her arms off me, and turning around to walk out of the room. As I walked out of the bedroom, I could feel her eyes on me, glaring evilly at me, and was most likely wondering what my problem was. I could care less what she was thinking, as I couldn't stand to be around her anymore. Lately, I've been trying not coming home, and when I do, I make sure it's extremely late, and when I'll know she's asleep. Tonight, I just happened to make a mistake, and come home sooner than planned. Being as late as it was, I thought she was asleep, or even gone.

I walked into my office, and sat in my chair at my desk, leaning back in my chair with my hands behind my head, thinking, I really hope Diego comes through with this hit, and gets rid of her sooner than the month I gave him.

As I sat in my chair, I forgot to shut the door, and watched her walk past my office looking upset, and heard her go into the kitchen. I could see she was upset with me, and could hear how upset she was with how noisy she was being in the kitchen, and how she let the oven door slam shut. I didn't feel like listening to her be a baby any longer, or the way she was slamming dishes around, and got up to close the door. After she cleaned the mess up in the kitchen, I assumed she was going to leave me alone, and go bed, I was wrong, and a bit surprised when she walked into my office. As I poured myself a glass of scotch, I could hear the annoyance in her by the way she was breathing, while standing in the doorway staring at me. I didn't care one bit if she was annoyed, or hurt, and ignored her presence. I rolled my eyes as I set the bottle of scotch down, walked away without looking or saying anything to he, and sat down at my desk, acting like I was busy doing paperwork.

I had a feeling she wasn't going to leave, when she continued standing in the doorway with her arms cross, and when she knocked on the door to get my attention, I looked up at her, and sighed while grabbing the papers I had sitting on top of my desk, and stacked them nicely into a pile as she walked towards me. She walked around, and sat on the desk in front of me, still staring at me.

I figured I better say something, and hoped whatever she has to say to me will be quick, and she goes straight to bed. "What's on your mind?" I ask, trying not to look at her.

"Jameson, do you not desire me anymore?" she asks while spreading her legs, and lifting her nightgown, wanting me to look at what was between her legs. I knew what she was up to, and like any man would, I looked.

"Why would you ask such a thing?" I asked, aggravated. I placed the glass of scotch up to my lips, not wanting to talk, and took a sip, while pushing her legs closed with my other hand.

"Lately I feel you've been ignoring me, and it's been over a month since you've made love to me," she says. She leaned forward, and cupped my chin, turning my head and wanting me to look at her. I must admit, she is a very beautiful, stunning woman, but I just couldn't let myself stay attached to her any longer. She needed to be gone, and soon.

"I've been busy lately." I say, removing her hand from my chin, then looked at her and felt my face turning a different shade of red, and starting to burn. "Someone has been stealing from me, and I've been trying to figure out who the fucking bastard is... you wouldn't happen to know who that person would be, would you?" I asked, while narrowing my eyes, and glaring right through hers. I know it's her, and she's going to pay for what she has done.

"No... how the hell am I supposed to know who's been stealing from you? And I sure as hell hope you're not accusing me!" she snapped, hopping off the desk, and leaning her face down, getting right into mine. She began pointing her finger at me, and as I looked down at her finger, I wanted to grab it, and break it in half. Nobody points their finger at me, including this bitch. "Don't you ever accuse me of stealing from you, ever again," she yelled, with a crackle in her voice, as if she were about to tear up. She turned, and the moment she took a step away from me, I grabbed her hand, and pulled her to me, forcing her down onto my lap, and embraced her hard so she couldn't get up.

All kinds of anger started running through me as I looked at her, and saw how she avoided to look at me, and grabbed a hold of her chin, snapping her face towards me. "If I ever catch you stealing from me, you'll be gone." I said harshly, kissing her on the lips hard, and as I released my hand from her chin, I shoved her off me. "Now get out of here, and go to bed... I have important work to do." I growled.

"And to think I came in here to give you a fucking blowjob... well fuck you." she yelled, as she stormed out of my office, and once she got to our bedroom, I heard the door slam shut. Good riddance. I muttered. I leaned my head back in my chair, covered my face, took a deep breath, and exhaled slowly trying to cool myself down, then remembered I had somewhere I needed to be. I stood up, slammed the rest of my scotch, and walked over to the door, closing, and locking it. I didn't need her coming back in here, yelling, and listening in on the phone call I needed to make.

I grabbed the bottle of scotch, and walked it over to my desk, pouring myself another drink, then picked up my phone to make that call. "Tonight, isn't a good night, and won't be able to make it, I'll call you tomorrow." I said in frustration. As they spoke back, I didn't feel like arguing with them either, and hung up the phone. I drank the rest of my scotch, and slammed the glass down hard onto my desk, breaking the glass into pieces Diego... you fucking better come through with this hit, or I'll put a hit out on you. I said angrily underneath my breath.

Diego~

The next morning, I sat at my dining room table, thinking about the night I had with Hazel, while staring hard at the envelope full of cash from what Mr. Alexander handed me. I tapped my fingers on the table, and debated with myself, wondering if I really wanted to take the job, or if I should just say fuck it, and give him his money back. There was one thing I always promised myself the moment I started this job, and that was, I would never take a hit out a woman. Although it was an excellent offer, he gave me, an offer one couldn't refuse, and opened the envelope to look at the money. I pulled out the money, and began counting it. Like he said, there was $500,000 in that envelope. I never did tell him exactly how much I would do it for, but for one million dollars, I couldn't complain.

Mr. Alexander did give me a day to think about it, as I thought long and hard about the hit, I opened the other envelope, and pulled out her daily itinerary that he had given me, and looked it over. As I studied her daily routines, I noticed in one of the written areas, her name was written into the schedule, Crystal I whispered. That's a beautiful name. Each day, and nearly each hour, she did something different, except for her going to the gym daily, and wondered how the hell he knew what she did all day long. Never mind, I cannot believe I just asked myself that I mumbled, shaking my head. I took a drink of my coffee, and picked up her picture, holding it out in front of me, for me to study. Damn you're strikingly beautiful, why on earth would you cross a man like this?

After thinking hard for a while, and thinking of the money being offered, I decided to take the job, and picked up the phone, calling Mr. Alexander. "I'll take the job." I say to him, as he answered the phone. "But I want to make sure you're absolutely positive, that she is being unfaithful, and stealing from you." I say, not wanting to get myself mixed into something that wasn't in fact true.

I'm telling you, the bitch is stealing from me, as well as out fucking around with all kinds of different men. Mr. Alexander insisted. She's been seen by one of my own employees on may different occasions. So again, don't you ever question me about me lying about this, otherwise I'll find someone else who wants the damn money.

After hanging up with him, I took a shower, and got ready to go out and see if I could find her, see what she was up to, and to report back to Mr. Alexander. I don't know why I have to report back to him, when he already knows her entire damn schedule, and had hired me to fucking kill her. Unless... he himself has doubts she really is stealing from him. I dressed into my street clothes, and threw on a baseball cap, disguising myself. I looked at myself in the mirror, and hoped nobody would recognize me wearing the clothes I was.

I looked over at the time, and noticed that it was nine in the morning, and remembered seeing she would be at the gym. Every weekday she would be there for three hours, starting at eight in the morning. I headed out, and over to the gym, thinking of ways on how to watch her there. For three hours out of the morning, being there, and watching her, was going to be tough. I don't need for her to pick up on me spying on her, and knew I needed to check the place out.

I opened the door to the gym, walked inside, and over to the lady sitting behind the counter. "Say... I was thinking about becoming a member here at this gym, and was curious if it would be possible to look around before making my decision? I'd like to make sure it has everything that I'm looking for, before spending that kind of money on something that isn't for me, and would never use." I asked, giving her a charming smile, hoping it'll work.

"Sure, I can show you around," she says smiling, and standing up. "Follow me, I can show you around, and answer any questions you may have."

"Thank you." I say as I look around, I was quite surprised at how big the place looked on the inside, from the outside, you never would have guessed at it being this big.

As she walks me around, showing me the machines, I spotted Crystal on an elliptical machine, wearing headphones, and noticed she was full of sweat. She was working herself hard, and wondered why she was working out the way she was with the body she had. I then began looking all around her, and as far as I could see, she was alone. As the receptionist talked, and explained the machines, I ignored what she was saying and kept my eye on Crystal for a bit. When I saw her turn her head, and looked directly at me, I quickly turned around trying to avoid her seeing what I looked like, and had the receptionist show me to the other areas of the building.

"So, is this something you would be interested in signing up for, or do we not have what you're looking for?" she asked, as she walked me back to the front counter.

I stood there leaning over the counter, thinking. As I thought about it, and scanned my eyes around the building once more, I figured there was a way that I could easily disguise myself while I'm here, working out and watching her, and felt with the job I had, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a membership at the gym anyway. I looked at her, and smiled. "Yes, let's do it." I tell her. After signing my life away, giving her my credit card to pay the yearly membership in full, she gave me my membership card, my key access card to get in to certain areas, and the copies of all the paperwork I signed just to join.

I looked at the time, left the gym, and walked across the street to stand by a magazine stand. As I waited for her to come out, I picked up different magazines to look through, all while keeping my eye on doors to the gym. I just happened to look up, when I saw her walking out, and watched her walk down the street by herself. I waited until she got far enough ahead of me, and to where I could still see her, then placed the magazine back onto the rack, and began following her.

I watched her stop at an outdoor café, and sit down at a table. A few minutes later a man walked over to her, and spoke into her ear. She smiled, stood up, and quickly turned around giving him a hug, then sat back down and picked up a menu. I was feeling hungry myself, and started walking closer to the restaurant, hoping to get a table near them, where I could listen in on their conversation. I was then stopped when a woman brushed up against me, giving me a nudge, and felt an arm warmly wrap around my waist. I felt a little irritated, and after seeing it was Hazel, I smiled. "Hello." I said, thinking damn, of all times to get interrupted.

"Hello!" she says, smiling, and giving me a hug. It was nice to see her again after the incredible night we had together the night before, and I have say, I wouldn't mind doing that with her again.

"I was just going to get a bite to eat, you're welcome to come, and join me." I said, politely. If she was there having lunch with me, it would help me with my cover, and for Crystal not to suspect she's being followed.

"I'd love to, but I can't right now, I have some friends who are waiting for me. I just happened to see you, and wanted to come over, and say hello." She reached into her purse, pulled out a pen, and piece of paper, and began writing. "Here's my number, call me sometime." she says smiling, and handing me the piece of paper. I look down at what she handed me, and noticed she written her name as Hazel. Huh, must not be a stage name. I said to myself. She started walking away, then stopped. She turned around, and was grinning ear to ear. "By the way, you were amazing last night, you should come and see me tonight," she said happily. Then turned back around, and continued walking.

Once Hazel was gone, I walked over to the café, and found an open table to sit. It was in the perfect spot, far enough away from them, but close enough to where I could still hear Crystal, and the man she was with, talk. As I looked at the menu, I listened in, and from what I was hearing, it sounded more like she was upset with how Mr. Alexander has been treating her lately. I then began to wonder if she was complaining the way she was about Mr. Alexander, how could she be sleeping with the man she was having lunch with?

After lunch, I continued following her around for the rest of the day, and from everything that I saw, and witnessed, I didn't notice anything suspicious or out of the ordinary, and decided to call it a day. I went home, and reported back to Mr. Alexander while cleaning out my pockets. I pulled out the piece of paper Hazel handed me, and smiled thinking maybe I should go see her, and felt I could use a drink. It wasn't that it was a bad day, it was more of an excuse to go see her, and possibly have another night with her. I got out of my street clothes, took a shower, changed into some nicer clothes, and figured I would go pay her a visit at the Beaver's club.

Crystal~

When I got home, and walked inside my home, my heart dropped when I heard voices coming from Jameson's office, and slowly walked over to his office. Being that he was never home anymore, especially this early in the day, I wasn't expecting for him to be home, and wondered whose voices those were. As I approached the door to his office, I placed my hand on the doorknob, and tried opening the door, but it was locked. Hmm I then put my ear up against the door, and tried listening in. I wasn't hearing any voices anymore or any weird sounds like I had heard when I first walked in, so I pressed my ear harder against the door, and held my breath, trying not to make a sound. All I could hear were, the sounds of my own heart beating, and it was beginning to beat harder and faster, the longer I tried to listening in, scared at who would be in Jameson's office.

The door then quickly opened, I lost my balance, and instantly fell to the ground. I looked up to see who opened the door, and was shocked to see what I was seeing.
