Diego P.O.V

I was at home being thoughtful. After a few days has passed. I was alone and my parents were at work throughout the summer.

My parents asked me if I was okay. I would say I'm okay and that everything is fine.

They knew that I wasn't telling the truth. They wouldn't ask more questions.

I tried to talk to Shira, but sometimes she wouldn't talk to me because of her friend, Logan. One time I heard Logan kissed Shira on her cheek. I was hoping it wasn't true.

Then I get a photo on text. Which shows Logan kissed Shira on her cheek. Shira was smiling at the photo.

I had enough of it, I was filled with rage. I went to Shira's house and broke in.

I yelled Logan's name with anger. They knew I was angry for some reason. Shira and Logan went downstairs to see me.

I standing there looking at Logan.

I spoke, "You!"

Logan spoke, "Why are you angry at me?"

"You kissed Shira on the cheek!"

Then I ran straight to Logan to beat the crap out of him. Then Shira blocked my way.

I spoke, "Let me at him!"

Shira spoke, "No!" Then slapped me on my face very hard.

I turned my face at Shira and I spoke, "Why are you defending him?! He kissed you!"

"He meant in a good way! Diego! You acting too jealous! You get jealous over everything!"

"Jealous?! I gave you my permission to be friends with Logan! Not to kiss you on the cheek! You wouldn't have..."

Shira interrupted me, "Diego! You should stop! We are done!"

Then I was shocked what Shira said.

I spoke, "W-what?"

"Like I said we are through! I don't want see you again and don't say you are sorry! Get out!"

Then tears started to form in my eyes and I spoke, "Yeah, I think you are right. I won't see you ever again. Probably I was too jealous."

"Good! The farther you are the better for me! Get out now!"

I walked away and I went to my car started driving back home. I gathered my stuff for the summer. I grabbed the money what my parents left for me.

I started driving away from the town. I began to drive very far across the state. I went to a old house that was abandoned where I can stay where there was no signal.

(Meanwhile)

Shira was home a bit sad ever since they broke up. Shira began to feel lonely.

Logan wanted to be closer to Shira. Shira would say next time. Shira wanted to be alone.

Until one day Ellie came to Shira's house. Shira answered the door.

"Ellie?"

"Can we talk?"

Then Shira started to tell Ellie that they broke up.

Ellie spoke, "Do you feel bad for breaking up with Diego?"

"It hurts but I get over it."

"How much time do you spend with Logan?"

"Like every day."

"Okay. How much do you spend with Diego?"

"Not much. Why are asking me?"

"Shira you didn't spent much time with Diego and you with Logan."

"Yeah I know."

"What if Diego was hanging out with a girl just like Logan? Rarely talk to you. How would you feel if you were in his spot."

"I would feel alone, sad."

"Exactly. That how Diego was feeling when you were with Logan. Diego was quiet, sad, wouldn't smile. Now you broke up with him. Diego is gone we don't where he went. But I let you think about it."

Then Ellie left, Shira realized what she has done.
