Diego P.O.V

I was with Shira and our kids in the park. I was watching the kids. Shira was hugging me.

Shira spoke, "I can't thinking about the day I met you softie."

"Same. I remembered the day I saw you for the first time."

"Do you remember on valentine's day when we were dating?"

I responded, "How could forget that?"

Shira was purring and spoke, "Do you remember the our very first valentine?"

I asked, "What do you mean?"

"Do you remember I came to your house on valentine's day?"

Flashback

3rd P.O.V

Diego was sleeping on his bed. Diego's mom came to wake him up.

Diego's mom spoke, "Wake up son."

Diego whined, "Why mommy? It early."

Diego's mom smiles and responded, "Today is special and your friend is coming over."

Diego opened his quickly and got up. Diego started rubbing his eyes.

Diego asked, "Why today is special if Shira comes like any day?"

Diego's mom responded, "You'll find out?"

That left Diego puzzled wondering why today is special if Shira is coming over. Diego went to look at the calendar to see today's date.

Diego spoke under his breath, "I don't get it. Today is February the 14th. What is so special?"

As soon he looked under the day it says it valentine day. Diego eyes widened.

Diego spoke to himself nervously, "Don't panic. Just a friend. I have a crush on Shira. Why this? Why I feel like blushing? Before it felt like a normal day. This isn't normal my crush coming over on valentine's day. What should I do?"

Diego went downstairs to see his mom cleaning the house.

Diego asked, "Mommy is just Shira coming over?"

Diego's mom responds, "No. Other kids like your age are coming over. To pick their valentine for today."

To pick their valentine Diego never done it before but who. Diego couldn't stop thinking. He would be walking back and forth.

After several hours of waiting. They finally came. Shira and others kids came.

Shira was wearing a flowy red dress same with other girls. When the kids are together.

The parents spoke,"Okay kids pick your valentine with."

The kids were blushing. Shira knew to pick.

Shira spoke, "I'll be Diego's valentine."

Shira went next to Diego. Shira started purring softly. Other kids picked their valentine. Once everyone had a valentine.

One of the parents would tell them a legend.

The parent spoke, "Alright since everyone picked their valentine. Did you know that when you have your valentine as a kid. The legend says that person you are with. You'll end up marrying your valentine."

Diego froze as Shira laid her head on Diego's shoulder. Diego thought this is too much to handle.

When it was dinner. Everyone was sitting with their valentine. Shira was blushing badly like she can't hide it.

Other kids were looking at Diego and Shira. Because they thought it just a game. The thing Diego and Shira are different.

The kids notice that Diego and Shira are sitting very close together. Shira had her head Diego's shoulder. The others weren't like them because they weren't sitting very close to each other or laying their head on someone shoulder.

It seems like they already a couple. Shira would feed Diego in front of them. The kids would just look down at their food and their parents.

The parents were looking at them very closely to see how act to their valentine. They payed more attention to Diego and Shira the way they are sitting together.

One of them spoke, "Aww look at them together. Diego and Shira make a good couple. Look at Shira feeding Diego also her head on Diego's shoulder."

"Yeah it like that they are meant to be together."

Then it was time for them to leave back home. Diego was able to spend time with Shira. Diego and Shira hugged each other as their goodbyes.

As the kids just walked into their cars to go back home. Diego and Shira hugged for a while before Shira left. After Shira left Diego thought it wasn't bad after all.

End of flashback

Diego P.O.V

I spoke, "I do I was very nervous on that day."

Shira spoke, "We spent good time together."

Then our kids came running to us.

Angela spoke, "Mommy, daddy can we visit grandparents. We miss them."

I responded, "Sure. Plus it been a while I talked to them. What do you think Shira?"

Shira responded, "Yeah. I miss them. Let go."

Our kids spoke, "Yay!"

We drove to our to their grandparents. It will be a good talk to them.
