Diego P.O.V

I woke up and I got myself ready for the day. As soon I got out from my dorm. I saw Shira was waiting for me.

I went to give her a kiss and she kissed me back. I look at her ocean eyes and she looks at mine.

We went to our separate classes. I didn't want to leave Shira because she was the love of my life.

I went to class and saw the girl who likes me. I decided to ignore her. As class went on. I felt something hit me on my back.

I checked what hit me it was a paper ball. I threw the paper away without looking inside of it since I was busy.

After class when I had free time. I was sitting on a bench then Shira hugged me by behind.

I spoke, "Shira is that you?"

"No try again."

"Hmm is it my beautiful kitty that always like to tease me?"

"Aww softie you are so sweet."

Then Shira went beside me and laid her head on my shoulder and started purring like a kitten.

Shira spoke, "I'm so happy to be with you."

"Same."

"I need to tell you something."

I spoke bit concerned, "What is it?"

"You know when we met for the first time."

"Yeah."

"I always had crush on you when I first saw you. And you when did fall for me?"

I responded, "It was on the day I invited you for dinner with my family. When you said you wanted to be a cheerleader I got down thinking you are going to date popular people."

Shira spoke, "Aww softie. I knew you would get jealous of me. I always be yours and no one else. We were meant for each other."

I kissed Shira and we started walking around the campus. As we were crossing a street. I saw car was driving fast and it going at Shira.

I quickly pushed Shira out of way then it hit me. I couldn't really hear and I heard Shira voice echoing. Before I could see the ambulance then I blacked out.

Then I woke up in bed, I realized I was in a hospital. When I try to get up I saw Shira hugged me sobbing.

I spoke, "I'm okay Shira."

Shira would hug me tighter. Then Shira looks at me and kisses me.

I spoke, "I always be with you."

Shira smiles at me and I kissed her. Then the doctor came and told I can leave but not force myself too much.

We left the hospital and went back to college. I was on my bed resting as Shira would be on my side. Sometimes she lay next to me.

Shira really cares for me. As much I care for her. Shira would spend the night with so I can have some company. When I went walking on the campus Shira would be with me. Slowly I was regaining my strength.

My friends would visit me time to time to see me if I'm doing okay.

One day I saw that Shira still have the diamond ring what I gave her.

I spoke, "Hey Shira you are still wearing the ring what I gave it to you."

Shira responded, "Yeah I really like the ring when ever I'm away from you I would be thinking about you. Can you really think you would live without me,  softie?"

"No, never. You took my attention to you which I fall for you with your kindness, compassion, and love."

"Aww Diego there words I can't describe to you. You are everything to me and I knew one day you would be mine."

"Yeah."
