Chapter Thirty: prime bachelorette years and corrections

The crowd laughed as Chase continued chuckling to himself,
"So Liby just stood there in this wave of mass destruction with the garbage bag trying to clean up my mess before mom and dad could see and I start helping her coz well it was my fault but they walk in and guess what she says?" Chase asked and Liby laughed,
"I remember you crying though dude." Liby said and Chase scratched the back of his neck,
"Yeah only because I was scared I'd get a hiding but still Liby went on her knees and begged our parents not to punish me." The mood shifted to a more lighthearted one, he looked at Liby and Harri with an almost sad smile though behind it you could sense that he was happy.

"Honestly that day changed everything for me, Liby became my number one priority and handing that over to you Harrison may be hard for me but I know you'll do a better job than I ever could. Make her happy for me will you."

With that Chase went back to his seat and Laura came up.

"She was in her prime bachelorette years when you decided to steal her i knew you two worked but not this well i mean seriously Harri couldn't you have waited until i got married first but that doesn't matter because I'm a genius either way." Laura said smiling widely almost an evil smile.

"Now I'm not one to say I told you so." I scoffed shaking my head and everyone laughed,
"What? I called it, I swear Icalled it back in highschool when we were about to go ice skating, these two birdbrains were fighting about cake like little children and I called it, if i remember correctly Ashton said and I quote 'Someone hand him a condom so these two can bang and shut the fuck up.'" The crowd laughed along with me,
"Then I said that it won't work amd they'll fight after sex so they should just get married." She smiled proudly before someone cleared thier throat,

"Laura you predicted the Marriage yes but i predicted that they'd have a kid, if I remember correctly i said that they would fight even more just so they can have make up sex so they should have a kid and now look Harrison took my advice." Chase said and Laura rolled her eyes,

"Okay fine so we all predicted one aspect of thier future, but the facts still remain, I predicted the marriage to I'll take a cheque for a million for my expert reading." She said and we all laughed,
"But seriously Liby all jokes aside I'm glad you met this duffus."

Laura walked off and Liby's dad came up, he looked dead serious,
"Harrison Ryder, I'm here to caution you, because if Liby every cries because of you i know a person that will willingly bring out the greatest weapon in the history of man kind and use it on you, no it's not me." I swear Harri looked genuinely scared,

"It's Zama, she's scary when it comes to her kids and the weapon and be warned it's a flip flop and i pray for the poor sucker who gets a beating from her. I'm just here to warn you my boy." Liby's mom Zama held up her sandle giving Harri a warning glare.

"Liby would you save me?" He asked and she sighed,
"I've gotten a hiding fron her and you think I'd be useful? Your on your own." The crowd laughed as I did and we all dug into our meals.

The food was excellent though I wasn't in amood to enjoy a meal something about weddings or any gathering in general always made me loose my appetite.

After our plates were cleared Harri went up looking as happy as ever, a childlike glow illuminated around him.

"I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for coming here today, I know that flying in must've been inconvenient and some university students were getting ready to write." He looked directly at Liby holding up his glass of non-alcoholic champagne,
"Liberty, I don't know how your still with me, I've insulted you more times than I can count and yet after each and every one of those insults you just laughed. Liby when we met I said that you were ugly but standing here infront of everyone and seeing you in all white with our children inside you. I could go back in time and back hand myself because your the most beautiful woman I have ever met. I'm in love with you Liberty Summers, a toast to my beautiful bride."

We all held up our glasses as Liby stood up now in a pair of Converses.

She stood infront of us all and cleared her throat,
"Thank you all for coming today to witness me marry the idiot that kept calling me ugly, before I tell this fool how much I love him may I please just say that I've been saying this for a long time and I will say it again." Her hand rested on her baby bump before she smiled at Harrison a mischievous glint in her eyes,

"Harrison Ryder you aren't as attractive as you think you are and if you think that by putting a ring on my finger you're finally going to hear me say your hamdsome you are very mistaken because you are not handsome." I chuckled as she said that knowing that Harri had one hell of an ego.
"Now I can tell you this and if you want you may record it, Ek is baie lief vir jou Harrison Ryder en nou dat ek is jou vrou ek is die meereste bly persoon in die wêrelde, Jé táime." Harrison smiled with his phone in his hand,
"I love you too Liby." He said and he came up and kissed her before kissing her tummy,
"And I love both of you too."
