Roman, Virgil, Remus, and Circe were in the living room. Then there was a knock on the door. Circe looked over at the others. Remus was texting someone, a small smile on his lips. Roman and Virgil were cuddled up on the couch, so they probably weren't going to move.

Circe sighed and got up. She went to the door and opened it, revealing a woman and two adults.

The woman smiled. "Hello, my name is Virginia. This is my son, Bane. This is his boyfriend, Synn."

"Okay?" Circe looked between them. "Can I help you?"

"We're here to see Virgil, my other son," Virginia said.

"Alright, let me get him." Circe turned away from the door and yelled, "Virgil, there are some people who want to see you!"

"Who is it?" Virgil groaned.

Then Virginia put her hand up, stopping Circe from yelling, "Virgil, it's me! Your mother!"

There was a thump and then Virgil pushed Circe out of the way. 

"Mom!" Virgil said and hugged Virginia tightly.

"My baby! How have you been? Has Roman been treating you right?" Virginia looked her son in the eyes.

"Yes, mom." Virgil rolled his eyes. That's when he noticed Bane and Synn behind her. "Mom...? What are they doing here?"

"Ahem. Boys." Virginia said and looked at them.

Bane sighed and muttered something incoherently.

"What was that?" Virgil asked.

Bane groaned, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry for everything we've done!"

"I'm sorry as well," Synn said.

"Mi amoorrreeee! What's taking so lon-" Roman got cut off when he saw Bane and Synn. "Oh, it's you guys."

"Whatever, can we go now?" Bane asked his mother.

"Oh, alright. Let's go." Virginia said. Then they walked away.

Virgil then did the unthinkable and called out to them, "Wait!"

Virgil grabbed a few invitations, which were left by the door, and ran up to them.

"Here," Virgil said, handing them each an invitation.

"What's this?" Virginia asked.

"It's for a party here," Virgil said.

"Aw, thank you, sweetie. But are you sure you want to invite us?" She asked.

"Of course." Virgil nodded.

Virginia hugged her son. "Thank you, Virgil. You truly are something special."

Virgil blushed and hugged back. "Don't mention it."

Virginia pulled away. "We should get going. See you at the party, dear."

"See you!" Virgil waved as they got into Virginia's car.

"What did you just do?" Roman asked from behind Virgil.

"I don't know..." Virgil turned to look at his boyfriend. "But I have a bad feeling something might go wrong."
