Did you know? 

In a few of the book attempts, Kai had a younger brother puppy named Tootsie.

Each time Kai was taken away from his family, I always used the scenario that Thorn attacked and killed Falte's (Dog's) wife, and supposedly killed Dog too. But in a few of the tries, my sister came up with another character, a second son. Usually, Kai was too young to remember him, and Dog and Kai both thought he was dead. He was an adorable, sweet little boy and I loved him so much!
