Kai used to be a stuffed animal dachshund named Muddy.

I got him on my ninth birthday, which was some before me and my sister starting working on the plot for my stories. We were young when we tried to figure the whole thing out, and as I've said before, it took years of rewriting several journals XD. But yeah, Kai originally was a little dog named Muddy.
