It was a long exhausting day with so much paperwork Magnus brain was a mess and he just wanted to take a relaxing bath but he knew he could only dream about it. Every time Magnus had to work till 6pm both his children became extremely clingy but to be honest Magnus didn't really mind that because that was what he sighed up for when he decided to adopt these two wonderful boys. He knew he would get less time for himself to relax but he had to admit cuddling with his two sons while watching a good movie was way better than sitting alone in a tube with thoughts about his breaking marriage bothering him. Magnus opened the door to his home and was immediately confused when no little boy came running to him and all lights were off except for the kitchen. Magnus could hear quiet music coming from the kitchen and a frown tugged on his forehead when he didn't see the jackets of his boys hanging on their wardrobe. Usually Izzy always brought them home an hour before Magnus came back and waited there with them but today wasn't the usual day. Walking in the kitchen Magnus stopped dead in tracks when he saw his husband in front of the oven...cooking and Magnus couldn't help but stare at him because he wore Magnus favorit cloths. He wore his tight black skinny jeans and the wine red dress shirt Magnus gave him to Christmas 2 years ago but it was such a surprise that Alec was here that Magnus didn't know what to expect. "Alexander?" Magnus asked after a few moments of processing everything and Alec turned around taking Magnus breath away by how handsome he looked. "Magnus...you're home." Alec answered quietly no almost shyly and fixed his cloths a little smiling slightly at his husband who just stared at him unable to believe his eyes. "What are you doing?" Magnus asked confused even he knew what Alec was doing physically but he didn't know what Alec was doing mentally and a little sigh escaped Alecs lips. Alec walked closer to Magnus softly placing his hands on Magnus hips almost scared Magnus wouldn't want him to touch him anymore but Alec had no idea how much Magnus craved for his touches. Alec looked with love in his eyes at his husband and he was holding him so softly like he didn't do in ages while Magnus looked back in his eyes with confusion. "I want to fix it...I want to make up for my stupid behavior. I want to show you that I still love you and that I won't ever stop. I know I was such an idiot and I don't deserve your forgiveness but please have dinner with me...I bought flowers for you." Alec was talking in a rush and all words he prepared so carefully came out a little messy but he was so nervous even this was his husband he was talking to. Alec always took Magnus for granted but suddenly he had the fear of losing him and he needed to win him over again but not just with empty promises because this time he would keep them all. Magnus eyes wandered to the table and he saw a bunch of flowers that was bigger than any other Alec ever gave him and it were his favorite flowers. "Red roses...for me?" Magnus asked slowly bringing his eyes back to Alec who nodded looking deep in his eyes with a look Magnus thought he would never see again. "I know I was a terrible husband and a terrible dad but I will do everything to make it up...if you let me." Alec was begging the angels Magnus would give him one last chance and Magnus thought about it for a few seconds before he nodded hesitantly. "I will see how this evening goes...I can't just forget about the last 2 years but I will try to forgive you." Magnus answered knowing his heart was ready to forgive Alec but Magnus wanted to see Alec fighting for him just once again to see how serious he was about saving their marriage. "Thank you." Even Magnus didn't accept his apology yet Alec was more than happy Magnus would have dinner with him and out of all happiness he pressed their lips together kissing the love of his life softly. Magnus was a little startled by the sudden kiss but god how bad he missed these soft lips on his and those large hands gripping his hips. Alec pulled back with rosie cheeks and licked his lower lip having and look of adoration in his face...//tbc I hope you won't think it's too rushed but after all it's a oneshot.
