"Snakethorn, Snakethorn!" The tom was mostly unreadable, but a small look of pride glinted in his gaze as he looked over to Ashflame. Some of the warriors stood up, ready to come forward and welcome the new warriors.

"There's one more thing...," Burnetstar waived his tail, gaining their attention instantly. The cats sat back down, looking up at him expectantly. He got the gaze of Leafbreeze, and the warrior's eyes grew wide.

"We have a traitor in our midst." Murmurs stirred up, and the queens pulled their kits close. Burnetstar raised his tail, and the noise died down. "My job as your leader is to keep this Clan safe. Some of what I've done is behind the scenes-- I've secured an alliance with CragClan. Eaglestar gifted us a herbs earlier and today a hawk, I'm sure you noticed." Timbershade nodded, and Finchbreeze, sitting next to the senior tom, noticed his agreement and nodded as well. Burnetstar slowly paced in a tight circle on top of the Great Boulder as he spoke. "Then why... have I been disrespected like I have...," the large, dark striped tom stopped, his gaze sharply falling on the brown tabby and white warrior in the back, "...Leafbreeze?" The she-cat gaped with fear.

sorry I didn't update yesterday. I was grinding on Pokemon sword sooooo,,,, although I did update Waterfall. If you guys are Waterfall fans I do have that fic which is pretty cool and almost done. I also have another new fic called The Stars Lied which is also pretty cool and I never advertised it here.
