>> option one , accept the gift

"We'll accept his gift. Being on good terms with CragClan isn't a bad thing, hm?" Burnetstar answered. Mousepelt gave an uneasy nod, and Timbershade blinked thoughtfully.

"You don't think Eaglestar would've poisoned them, do you...?" Wasptail spoke up, his voice quivering slightly. His grey apprentice gently gave him a comforting tail flick as Burnetstar shook his head.

"Maybe, maybe not. You're the medicine cat, you tell me." Burnetstar raised a brow, tipping his head up. Wasptail nodded quickly.

"R-Right. We can just.. we can just use what we already have and just store the Lamb's Ear." The dark red tom nervously glanced up to his leader, who gave a curt nod.

"Fine." He looked Wasptail up and down, and the medicine cat shrunk down nervously under the piercing gaze. "Safe travels tonight to the Moon Falls." The leader meowed, though a threat lingered in his voice. Wasptail nodded quickly, and Mousepelt carefully turned back toward the medicine den, the Lamb's Ear now in his white splotched jaws, an unreadable look in his eyes.

"Timbershade, come show me how to do that one thing you were talking about!" Skypaw purred, interrupting the tension.

"I'm sure Pantherstrike can teach it to you, he is your mentor after all." Timbershade murmured, starting off toward a group of warriors lounging.

"Yeah, but you're way cooler!" The gray tabby and white apprentice whined, following after the larger tom.

"That's no way to talk about your mentor...." He chastised before being completely out of earshot. Burnetstar breathed slowly.

"Timbershade would be a great asset for us." He jumped slightly as a cat sounded behind him. Icespark slithered out of the shadows, blue eyes bright. He gave a small nod.

"Yeah, I suppose he would," he mumbled in agreement.

"A lot of warriors admire him. If you could get him to openly support you, a lot of the cats who are on the edge would definitely be swayed to follow you to the ends of the territories." Icespark sat down neatly. Burnetstar watched the dark tabby as he shared tongues with Acornfall, Cinderleap, and Pantherstrike, Skypaw happily sitting in on the warriors' chat.

"I can see how that's true," Burnetstar glanced over to her. "I'll look into it." Icespark watched him with admiring pale blue eyes.

"How's it going with recruiting Honeyfur?" She asked, beginning to groom her pelt.

"I'm working on it, I've got to be careful with it. I'm busy through tomorrow though," Burnetstar murmured, his eyes moving to the medicine den.

"You could always have one of us do it. Dartingshade, Ashflame, or I, I mean. As your Council, we're all ready to help you out," she gave a side smile.

       >> Yes. Send a Council cat to get Honeyfur to publicly be on your side, no chance of screwing up, at the cost of a random chapter part to be the opposite of the group vote.
       >> No. Do it yourself some time later.

AN
Option One explanation!!! I'll roll two random numbers, one 8-10, the other 1-10, and that's when the opposite of winning vote will happen. For example, say I roll an 8 and a 2. On chapter 8.2, at the end of it, whatever the most voted to do/say, the opposite option will actually be used on 8.3. *Not actual numbers*

Aesthetic by yours truly, ITS of *drum rolllllllllllllll* Mousepelt and Wasptail. Though I think the aesthetics are pretty obvious who they're of lol.

THANKS FOR 700 FOLLOWERS!!! XOXOXOXO
