"Oh...! That makes more sense," she blinked thoughtfully. "I'm not really needed on any patrols until sunset, so I won't object." Her lightly striped tail waved. Burnetstar felt his pelt rush with heat as some unknown feeling hit him-- a sort of prideful happiness, warming his winded pelt. He gave a firm nod, beginning to lead the way out into foggy pine forest, down the hill that the camp was situated on.

"So what exactly do you want to know..?" She meowed, then quickly added, "I'm completely loyal to you and only you, I swear."

"I know you're one of my most loyal warriors, that one of the reasons why I really wanted to get to know you." She nodded in understanding as they turned off onto a less-traveled path through golden brown nettles and thick clumps of bushes. "So," topics. What to talk about. I want her to be my mate, but apparently the more traditional way to do that is for them to actually like you too. Why can't this all just rely on whether or not I can kill seasoned fighters....
