        "Alright." He took a deep breath. "There have been... Whispers. Rumors. Cats have been saying that..." Pantherstrike glanced over her shoulder again to his mate. Burnetstar watched him intently. Love is weird. He thinks just by looking at her he has renewed courage or strength or something-- looking at something can't do that. Eating herbs or food or sleeping gives you energy and strength, no way just looking at something can do that for you. "They've been saying that you're mentally a weak leader."

       Burnetstar stiffened, his claw unsheathing and digging into the earth. His fur rose slowly along his spine, and his tail slowly started lashing.

        "Weak-- I'm-- I'm the strongest-- and best leader this clan has seen!" Pantherstrike backed up, his ears flicking back. Burnetstar breathed heavily, sheathing his claws in an attempt to control himself. "Thank you for coming, Pantherstrike. Don't worry, your family will be safe from me." Pantherstrike nodded quickly and scampered away back to his mate, who's face was full of inquiry.

       Burnetstar turned swiftly on his paw, stalking toward the Leader's Den. He pushed his way through the bushes that his the entrance in the Great Boulder, and he paced in a circle. I am a strong leader-- I just need to prove it again....

Also, sorry if I haven't gotten to your character yet, I'm trying to take my time with every character so you know who each one is. That way, later on if I mention Pantherstrike, you might remember him as the guy who cares about his family.
