>> option two , don't say anything, just watch him.

Burnetstar watched him carefully. The black tom continued forward, pinning his ears, stopping as he reached the base of the rock.

"Burnetstar...? I'd... I'd like to speak with you." Pantherstrike meowed, his whiskers quivering.

After a moment, Burnetstar stood up, leaping down with a heavy jump. Pantherstrike was sleek and thin, with long legs and a narrow face. His green eyes glanced back to the white tabby at the edge of camp, Tigerslash, his mate, before resting on Butnetstar.

"I know something important that you'll want to know but first...," Burnetstar pricked his ears with interest, "I'll need you to promise me something...."

"Promise you what?" Burnetstar finally spoke, his eyes narrowing. Pantherstrike flicked his tailtip, giving a slight nod toward his mate. The white she-cat was bathing in the cooled sun that reached into camp, making the faint, but dark, tabby marks on her pelt show.

"My mate, Tigerslash," his eyes softened, "she's expecting kits. I want to know that she and the kits will be safe. The kits will get to grow up with good mentors and not be harmed by you." Burnetstar tipped his head up. Pantherstrike shifted on his small paws. "Please. Do that in the future, and I'll tell you something very important... About...," he ducked his head low, his voice dropping to a whisper, "rumors in the warriors den. About you."

>> "I can do that. I can't promise disease won't get them, but I can make sure to protect them."
>> "I'll just kill them all when they're born if you don't tell me now."
