Day 3, Habits

While the internet is down I've spent my time thinking and I noticed I have a quite a few habits that I do and I had the idea, why not I make a post about it since I my internet is annoyingly slow.

Starting off with my biggest habit first:

1. Cracking my knuckles

Ever since I was little I was always told that cracking my knuckles will cause arthritis later on in life, I can say that I'm pretty much an adult now and I still crack my knuckles. To those who do crack there knuckles and those who don't I'll give you all a little fact that I know about it. When you "crack" a knuckle you aren't popping air from in between the joints, you are actually making a gap between the joint itself. Putting it that way makes it sound painful. 

I'm able to crack my finger knuckles, my toes, my neck, my back and my elbows. While my ankles, hips and nose popes from now and then. Its only painful when my left ankle pops. Then my knees will make a strange crinkle kinda sound, like if you walked on fry leaves. 

Anyway continuing on with my habits:

2. Closing doors

I still live at home with my parents and one of my siblings. My room is at the back of the house with the bathroom door, the laundry door and the toilet around my bedroom. At night I will always close them before I go to sleep. If I get up during the night I'd check the laundry door and only that one since it wouldn't be able to see if it's open or closed. The only source of light is from the fridge, casting the door handle in shadows. 

On wards to my next and last habit for this post:

This one isn't exactly a habit, it's just something I always do.

3. Tablets

Since I was little I was always a light sleeper so in the past year or so I've been taking natural melatonin tablets. I take four of them at night and they about the size of your pinkie nail. When I'm sick it's a whole different ball game. I'd take two cold and flu tablets, two red liquid capsule painkillers as well as my four night time tablets. That might sound like over kill, but that's how I keep my body functioning.
