P R O L O G U E

Humans have discovered magic when a mysterious orb relinquished itself to the world. The first-ever human who had collected the sacred power from the orb was then said to spread it to continents and as time passed, so did the number of people who had grown aware of it.

Academies were then built to house those who wish to further develop their abilities. Some of which were given magic that were passed down from their family line, while the rest were simply looking to expand their knowledge.

Hundreds of Academies then sprawled throughout different continents which led to the development of Étoiles Academy, a prestigious school in a secluded area. Venture deeper into the forest and you'll find a building that towers over the rest, so enormous that it takes up almost half of the land. The school was known as a high-ranking and strict academy, but what lies inside is startling, a somewhat hell run by the top tiers of the place. The academy houses five tiers, the fifth being the lowest out of all, and the first being the priority pass for the so-called "royals" They rule the place and with no doubt can get away with almost anything, even to the point of murder. Everyone starts at the bottom, but how they rise up to the top and be crown the title of kings and queens are all up to how they decide to play the game. Would it be in a fair way? Or, would it be played dirty? Anything and everything would influence its outcome, one tiny mishap and you're considered an outcast.

Or worse, you're dead...

I'm really excited to be announcing that I'll be back on Wattpad once more! It has been a long-awaited time and I've contemplated whether I should start a new book, but well, here I am! Taking a long hiatus was what I needed, and looking back at my old works motivated me to start afresh. I would like to thank anyone prior to the completion of the book for reading!
