When your Nihongo is terrible but you want to write a Vocaloid song
So, I tried writing a song in Japanese, but all it did was make me realize how bad I suck...
I can speak super basic conversational Japanese, but finding words to rhyme and make sense for song lyrics is a WHOLE different thing. It's way more difficult than I expected...
I started studying Japanese a couple of years ago, and I can speak/understand it pretty well, which is why I expected a bit more from myself. Oh well... I still have a long ways to go.
If I build up any courage over the next few days, I might expand on my idea and share a bit here! I probably won't though... lol I'm such a wimp ・゜・(。'ノω・')
Oh well! I'll figure it out one day. If I ever get vocaloid I'd probably use Gumi for it... maybe Miku or Rin.
Maybe not Rin... her voice doesn't really fit the story I have in mind. vFlower's another option, but I probably wouldn't use her because her voice can sound a bit harsh and the mood of the song is more empathetic. Then again, her voice was really soft in her Q cover, so it's definitely possible for her to emote.
Why am I choosing vocaloids when I'm 1) too poor to buy them, 2) don't even have the song finished, 3) don't even know how to make music, and 4) CAN'T SPEAK JAPANESE
*cries*
One day I'll get there... one day.
'Till then!
