So... I have a problem...

A problem that most vocaweebs probably have...

I can't afford Vocaloid ;-;

I mean, technically I can, but my parents would probably say it's way too much for a voice synthesizing software. Besides, after buying V5, I'd have to get voicebanks, and then maybe spend money on a digital music composition course...

I mean, there's the option of Utau, but I'm a bit nervous to try it. Utau songs don't even get that much attention, and I've heard it usually doesn't come out as well as Vocaloid. Honestly I wouldn't mind giving it a try even if I don't get any attention at all, but is it really worth spending hours upon hours of tuning Utauloids just to gain zero traction?

Like I know attention and views is a really petty reason to not bother trying, but just the thought of it is really discouraging.

I think I know enough Japanese to write a song with a little help, and obviously I know English so I'd just have to work on getting better at English tuning. 

Do you guys listen to utau originals? Or just Vocaloid songs? I know a lot of people aren't into synthesizers other than vocaloid and don't really pay attention to utaus. Then there's another synthesizer for speech and not music, but I forgot what it was called... I don't really bother with characters from that. Just Vocaloids and some Utauloids. 

Aaaaanyway, enough of my self-pity... maybe I'll be able to convince my parents to get me Vocaloid and a couple of characters! If I do, would you guys lend an ear to some of my songs? :3 pwease? :33333
