'He's so cute!'

My optics widened as the femme picked me up. I was too scared to move or make a single sound. More femmes surrounded me. I felt my optics getting wet. I wanted my mommy. I relived the moment and started crying. 'Oh, no... baby, don't cry.' The femme who hold me purred. 'He's probably hungry,' another added. The door swung open and they became quiet, but I wasn't. 'Ladies.' The female walked up to me and picked me up in one single move. 'Leave,' she ordered and everyone left without asking any question. 'Shhh,' she hushed and rubbed my helm softly. 'I want my mommy,' I sobbed. 'I know, honey,' she whispered.

She grabbed a bottle of warm energon and started feeding me. I curled up against her frame, closing my optics. As I finished, she rocked me. 'You're Mirage?' She asked. I nodded and looked at her face. 'I am Elita-1,' she introduced and wiped some tears off my cheekplates. 'You're a sweet boy,' she murmured. I leaned into her. 'You don't have to be afraid, everything will be okay,' she said. I shut my optics and fell asleep.

I dreamed about my home. Far away from the city. My mommy was waiting for me near the lake. I ran up to her and she picked me up. 'Mommy don't leave me anymore.' She smiled and kissed my cheek. 'My little Mirage. I would never leave you,' she purred. I smiled and nuzzled in her neck. 'You're my sweet boy,' she whispered. She sat down, holding me in her arms and sang for me. Her sweet sent entered my nose. As I leaned into her, I had a good view of our home.' I closed my optics. 'I love you so much, Mirage,' she whispered. I smiled, 'I love you even more, mommy,' I whispered.

The scene faded and I woke up, alone. I looked around and felt tears ran down my cheek. The horrible feeling overwhelmed me and I curled up, softly sobbing. 'Hey, little one.' I looked at the door. Jazz slowly walked in. I quickly wiped my tears off my cheek. 'You're okay, bud?' He asked. I quickly nodded. 'I am so sorry,' he said. I waved my servo but I felt a painful stab. 'It's okay to be sad,' he said as he noticed my reaction. 'I wanna go home with my mommy and daddy.' He picked me up and held me in his lap. 'Where is your home?' He asked. I leaned into his frame while holding my teddybear. 'At the lake. Far away from Kaon.' He rubbed my helm. 'Really? Why did you move to Kaon?'

'My daddy got replaced for a younger mech. It's not fair, if he wasn't replaced, none of this would've happened,' I mumbled, hugging my teddybear. 'Do you want to go out for a walk?' He asked. I gave a small nod and grasped his servo as he placed me back on the ground. 'It's so big here,' I said. Jazz chuckled. 'Yes, it is. That's why you need to stay close to me,' he warned.

We walked outside and crossed the street. 'You'd like some ice cream?' He asked. I nodded. 'Come on.' We walked into a shop. Everyone recognized Jazz. 'Yo, Jazz!' I hid behind Jazz. A large bit marched over to him. 'Ey, Roadbuster! How are you doing?' They punched their fists together. 'Good man... who's the little one?' He pointed at me. 'This is Mirage. He lost his carrier last week,' he said. Jazz looked down at me. 'It's alright, you can say hi,' he said. I looked up. 'Hi.' Roadbuster crouched down. 'You're a cute one,' he said and pulled me some closer by my waist.

'What's your name?'

'Mirage,' I said shyly. 'You're handsome little mech. I bet you will grow as a very gentle and well behaved mech,' he said and got up. While jazz was talking, I turned away and looked at the products behind me. My eye fell on two mechs. They were gossiping and suspiciously looking around. I had a strange feeling by these two mechs. I crouched down and crawled towards another aisle, hissing and turned up the volume of my audio to hear what they were saying. 'You got it?'

Both had a strange symbol. One I haven't seen before. 'Yeah, Starscream gave it to me.' I couldn't see what the brown mech handed the larger one. 'Bring this to Starscream. Don't screw up again or Megatronus will kill us for it,' he hissed quietly. I narrowed my optics as the larger mech turned around and exited the shop. 'Jazz! Jazz!' I tugged on his servo. 'We have to go.' He looked down at me. 'Why are we in a rush?' He asked.

I looked out of the window. I saw him leave and took a sprint, chasing the mech. He towards a building and disappeared inside. Without a second thought, I walked inside as well. I looked up, spotting two cameras and a mech from the security. I stayed low to stay under the cameras and sprinted towards the stairs, following the mech upstairs. Upstairs, I crawled in a shaft and followed the mech into an office. 'Bonebrusher.' The mech in the office Isa's creepy and didn't seem to have good intensions. 'I got what you wanted...' he handed something that looked like a USB. 'Without any problems?' The me asked. 'Yes, we were able to download the data directly from Optimus data pad,' he said.

'Good, Megatronus will be pleased. We can now keep an eye on the situation and attack if we have too,' Starscream said. 'Optimus doesn't suspect a thing. He trusts Megatronus too much for that,' The mech stated. I slightly tilted my helm. What are they talking about?

'Did we get rid of the femme?'

Bonecrusher nodded. 'Yes, she will not form a threat for us anymore. Although, her sparkling is still alive and so is the sire.' The mech shook his head. 'Doesn't matter. The sparkling is too small to understand a single thing and the sire... let's keep an eye on him. If things escalate, Megatronus might order to kill him too.'

Bonecrusher nodded. 'Barricade is trying to get closer to Prowl. We need the second in command,' Starscream said. 'Optimus Prime is the jackpot, why do we need his second in command,' Bonecrusher asked. 'All for the great plan,' Starscream stated and waved him off. 'All heil Megatron,' Bonecrusher growled. 'All heil Megatron!'

I shivered and crawled away, back towards the stairs and left the building. I looked around as I came to a stop. I was all on my own. People didn't even look at me as they passed me. They killed my mommy! I sat down on the stairs for a moment, overthinking what I just heard and grabbed my teddybear and hugged him. Tears streamed down my face plates. They killer her. It started to rain and I was soon soaked.

I felt empty, I looked at my teddybear again. 'One day... I will get them,' I whispered, looking behind me as Bonecrusher walked out of the building. He caught my optics and approached. 'An Autobot sparkling.' he said. I clenched my fangs together. 'Ugh, I forgot how ugly they are,' he scowled. 'Maybe you should look at yourself. Fraghead!' I snapped. The mech narrowed his eyes at me and hit me. I fell off the stairs. 'Dumb animal,' he scowled.

'What is your name Autobot?'
I glared at him. 'Dino...'
