Dear Whatever,
So this is my second entry today...yea I know I said this wasn't my thing but whatever. I haven't cried today since I left which I think is progress. What I think helped me is that Allen snuck out to see me one last time to say goodbye. I got to talk to him about how he needs to take care of himself and smile his charming smile for me. Hugging him and drowning him in kisses made saying goodbye easier. I'll still miss him to bits and pieces though. I always will.
I wrote him something hours before I left and he snuck out to see me.

Dear Allen.
I am leaving now. I'm off to Idaho. I told you I would text you when I left so that's what I'm doing. I wanted to thank you for changing my life. Maryland was never my favorite place but you made it worth being here. Under this same Maryland summer sky I fell in love with you without knowing. And under this same sky I leave you here. Just remember no matter the distance I will always love you and we will see each other again. I know I said you shouldn't cry but you should. Crying expresses how you feel and that's good. I still don't like you crying but I will accept it this time. I will let you sleep now my love. Text me when you wake up. Goodbye my love. I love you.
