Family Action

Abigail watched the videos on the screen of her daughter, when she was just a little girl in ancient Rome. She followed her older brother, the child Abigail had during and after her first mission, still Aro raised the boy as his own. Aro saw his young daughter showing interest in training with the gladiators that he had freed, and they helped him on his new farm. Smiling he went to her and began to tell her stories of the past and how the gladiators fought.

"Why don't you go for a visit?" John asked as he came up to his wife.

"You truly show no jealousy, though you are right. I do miss Aro at times, he always encouraged Diana to follow whatever her heart called for. I do wonder how he would react to know he was a grandpa to be." Abigail chuckled.

"He'd be proud Diana; I do not doubt that for a moment. Maybe you should go and give him a heads up?" John shrugged as he stood up. "I have recruits to train, so I'll be back in a day or so. Don't worry I won't get jealous, its good to know you can visit your daughter's father in the past...just go."

Abigail nodded as she watched John walk out of the room. She suited up and typed her destination into the time machine, closing her eyes she pressed the button and when she opened her eyes again, she was in a roman villa. Taking a deep breath of the fresh air she looked down. Walking through the villa she finally came to the scene she was looking at before.

"Already putting ideas in her head?" Abigail questioned.

Aro and Diana both looked back at Abigail. She smiled as Aro asked their younger daughter to give them a few moments. The young Diana nodded and took off. Aro went to Abigail and smiled.

"A short visit?" Aro asked about to drink his wine.

"More like an advance notice, Diana is now much older, 26 in fact as she is with child, the child has two possible fathers." Abigail said as Aro reacted.

Aro spit out his wine and dropped his cup. He looked over at Abigail shocked and mouth open in awe. She waited for him to ask her a million questions but instead he only asked her one.

"Does the father love our daughter?" Aro asked as he walks to Abigail.

"Both of them? Yes, I believe they do, and one possible father is an agent."

"Dare I ask what the other is?"

"An English Lord from the Tudor period, I'll send you a book about it." Abigail says as she leads him to a seat.

"I'll be a grandfather. You will be a grandmother. Our daughter will be a mother." Aro said stating the obvious.

"That's not the worse, the prisoner that our daughter was meant to capture and send back, she has escaped and is now on the hunt for our daughter."

Aro ran his fingers over his face and sighed. This was a lot of information to process. He feared for his daughter for many reasons and he wanted to protect her, but he knew that Abigail couldn't just let him out of his own time to help Diana.

"Will you help her?" Aro asked as he looked to Abigail with tears in his eyes.

"Of course, she also has her brothers and stepfather waiting to be called at any moment." Abigail replied.

Diana watched as the group of people began to load things into the carriage. Lord knows she did not want to be at Hampton Court Palace any longer than needed. Knowing Camile was also out on the hunt for her made her cringe. Placing her hand on her husbands hand he looked at her concerned.

"Must we go? Would traveling now not be a mistake?" Diana questioned.

"Well, since there is no prisoner to take to trial, I see no need to rush anything." Sam said as he held Diana's hand. "I can write to the King and request a delay, I see no reason he would not allow it, at least until Camile comes out of hiding."

Nodding Diana agreed with her husband's suggestion. She had no idea that from HQ her mother, her two brothers and stepfather were watching the entire situation. They knew that she might feel that she was in over her head and they wanted to support her and help her if something were about to go wrong.

Simon helped the others unload the belongings back into the house. Diana took refuge in the library, she sat at a desk, near a fireplace. The days were becoming colder and she wanted to keep as warm as possible. He came in and stocked the fire for her, Simon could tell that Diana was tired and had a bit of fear in her eyes.

"Diana?" he questioned as he went to her side.

She did not reply, she looked at him with tearful eyes. In truth she had not slept well at all. Any noise the house made had made her on edge thinking it was someone there to take her life. Simon held her and kissed the top of her head. He picked her up and sat down with her before the fireplace on an animal skin rug.

"I am here, please rest, my dear. It is not good for you or the baby." Simon said and Diana laid her head on Simon's lap. "Nothing will happen while I am here, I would alert you and defend you and the baby with my life."

Diana trusted Simon and took a deep breath before drifting off to sleep. He could see her chest rise and lower letting him know she had in fact fallen asleep. He felt bad for her, like she could not rest for a moment even with Sam, though that was not his fault. As far as he or Diana knew, Sam did not know how to fight so how could he defend the baby and his wife? Taking the head garment off her hair his gently caressed her hair.

"I promise, I will never leave you until I breathe my last breath." Simon vowed as he continued to look down at Diana.

A few days had gone by and Diana had been able to rest thanks to Simon, she was able to convince Sam to let Simon sleep in chair in the room, it was a comfort to her. Sam had agreed the moment she brought the idea up to him. It shocked both Diana and Simon but they did not argue with him, he was on edge as well. He did not have as many guards when they first came to the estate, but he hired even more for fear of who Camile would bring with her.

Groaning, Fred stretched his arms trying to fight off sleep, Diana was awake in the time she was in and helping with small tasks since she wanted something to keep her mind occupied. Unknown to her, Abigail and the rest of her children set up cameras in the estate so they could see every inch of it. Alarms were all around and would go off the moment they detected something. Fred saw a right light out of the corner of his eye and saw it was the screen in Sam's study and there was Camile with a sword to Sam's neck.

"SHIT! DIANA CODE RED! SAM'S STUDY! SHE HAS A SWORD SO BE PREPARED!" Fred called through his communicator.

Diana took off, she dropped what was in her hands. Slamming her hand down on her wrist, her suits automatically conformed to her body even though it was in a running motion. A stun gun placed on both of her sides, she could not kill Camile, not yet at least. She knew that Simon would be on his way soon. Back against the wall with the door to Sam's office.

"You think she would just love someone like you? Brendan is her lover; he is where her heart belongs and before the night is over, I will show it to you." Camile gloated.

"You act as though I knew none of this, I knew where he hearts truly lied the moment, I met her. I care little if I have to share her, but my heart is hers and I will defend her until my last breath." Sam replied and Diana could hear him unsheathe a sword.

Did he know how to fight? Was she underestimating him the whole time? She could hear swords clashing and acted without thinking, not the best idea. Kicking the door down she saw Sam holding Camile down with his sword. Shocked she did not know what to say but with Sam now looking at her, Camile caught him off guard and kicked him off her.

"There's your proof, look at her now. Not the English woman you thought." Camile laughed.

"No, she looks better." Sam chuckled.

Shaking her hand, Diana grabbed her stun gun from her side and took aim at Camile.

"Gonna shoot me? You really think that is the best idea? Can't fight me woman to woman?" Camile challenged her.

Diana then put her gun back at her side. Camile smiled, she knew Diana had accepted the challenge.

"I do hope you didn't think I would come alone." Camile laughed as they heard glass breaking in the background.

Four more men dressed in all black came to her side.

"Sam...go find Brendan." Diana said standing in front of him.

"What about you?" he asked in shock.

"I'm never alone." Diana grinned.

There behind two of the men, two other men appeared, Diana's brothers and took them on by themselves. Camile turned shocked but laughed it off.

"You are still outnumbered." Camile taunted.

Another blast of cold air came from behind her, Camile turned around to see another red-haired woman in a black suit with a man behind her. With two words from the new woman three more people appeared and began to take down anyone in sight before being ordered to search the castle.

"You still want to fight?" Diana chuckled crossing her arms over her chest.

"You bitch!" Camile yelled and ran at Diana.

With on swift move, Diana had her arm behind her in an arm hold. Putting pressure to it Camile cried out in pain.

"You see its not smart to challenge someone who was trained by gladiators." Abigail chuckled as she watched her daughter kick the woman to the ground.

"I will kill all of you." Camile spit at all of them.

"You are at the end of the list.'' Jameson, Diana's older brother laughed as he threw one of Camile thugs beside her.

"After you are placed on trail here, you will be brought back to HQ and there I can't even guarantee that you will live through your trial." Abigail said walking forward.

Simon burst inside, suited and shocked at the sight before him. Everyone from Diana's family was there and they looked like they had just finished off the main villain. Sam looked shocked but laughed along with the family.

"Who the hell are you lady?" Camile said looking to Abigail.

"That is my mother, trust me she can think of a horrible judgement for you. Until then, I believe to the dungeons in the best course of action until you can be transported back to Hampton Court." Diana answered as Simon came to her side.

"There were four others in the hall, I can only imagine what else we will find." He told the group.

"Samson, go and do a round." Abigail told her youngest son.

Samson nodded and took off. John put an old fashion pair of irons on Camile and forced her to stand up. Sam carefully walked over and looked at all then in awe. He knew there was something different about Abigail but now this was something he had never even fathomed.

"Hello Lord, forgive us for the intrusion but it seems this thief has tried to come and steal power." Abigail said looking to Sam.

"You are Diana's mother?" he asked shocked.

"And your mother in law." Abigail grinned making John her husband chuckle.

"Right, of course, and those are her brothers and father?"

"Yes, this is my family and now you get to hear a really long story." Diana said scratching the back of her head.

Five hours later, the whole story was out, and Sam loved every minute of it. He did not feel betrayed or lied to, but he felt like an asset. One he would keep up with to protect his wife and child. He was astonished that any of this could even happen. Samson had returned to his mother and gave a full damage report.

"The damage will be repaired within a week, forgive us but we must take out leave. Take care of our girl because we are watching." Abigail smiled and her family disappeared.

Sam looked to Diana and Simon who were back in the attire from the Tudor period.

"This is amazing! I will inform the king of Camile's capture but that is all. I will not say how she was procured." Sam smiled as he went to Diana and held her hands in his. "You are amazing, trained by gladiators, that must me you are of a Roman descent perhaps?"

"Yes, I was born in Ancient Rome actually." Diana blushed at the memory of her home and her father.

"Well, Brendan, I mean Simon. You are one remarkable man as well, willing to lay your life on the line for her and the child. Thank you, my friend, I hold you in the highest regard." Sam smiled and patted Simon's arm and then left the room with a big smile on his face.

"Either he has completely lost it, or he is just one hell of an amazing guy." Simon sighed running his hand through his hair. "I hope, well I know he won't tell and even if he did who in their right mind would believe him."

Diana laughed; she just could not help it. This was not how she expected the day to go. It was too cold to travel so at the first sign of spring she knew Hampton Court would be the first destination. Simon grabbed Diana and kissed her.

"What was that for?" She asked in surprise.

"Do I truly need a reason?" Simon asked.

Shaking her head, Diana rested her head on his shoulder. Simon wrapped his arms around her. He wanted to make sure she knew he was there for her. He would not leave her side no matter what.
