The day was beautiful and fabulous- perfect even- as a kit was brought into the world. The sun and clouds danced in the sky, while the stars and moon came over to party as well.

ThunderClan took this as a sign that the she-cat was going to be like no other.

Nobody took notice of her sister, who started to plot evil plans at one minute old.

The whole Clan gathered around the beautiful sparkly rainbow kit, eyes wide with amazement.

"What are you going to name her, Silverpelt?"

The Queen took a moment to think before settling on a name. "I'm thinking Diamondkit..."

"What's a diamond?" Soulstar asked.

Silverpelt shrugged, rasping her tongue over Diamondkit's head. "It's obviously a very rare, precious mineral buried deep in the ground. I know that because cats can totes legit go that far."

"Ooohhhhhh..." The Clan breathed, nodding their heads.

A few days later, the Medicine Cat, Blackmoon sat in his den sorting herbs, his paws were covered in green, herby slime.

Suddenly, stars danced around him, speaking in hushed voices.

"Diamond will rule the Clan and save you all from the forest that is very dark."

"Huh," he said, "I wonder what that means."

"Watch out! Badgers are attacking!" A warrior shrieked, running for his life.

The rest of the Clan teleported out of their nests and followed, leaving Diamondkit behind.

The 2-day-old she-cat stepped out of the Nursery, her tail lashing. She lowered her head, growling at the 10 large, muscular animals.

With a shriek, Diamondkit leaped at the head badger, who was 100 times her size.

She slit its throat and it fell to the ground.

The rest of the badgers, left without a leader, fled from camp.

The Clan cheered, rushing back into the hollow.

"Diamondkit, you are only two days old, but I am making you an apprentice!" Soulstar shouted, leaping up to the Highledge. "You are now Diamondpaw. You shall be mentored by me!"

The whole Clan cheered for the new apprentice so loudly that even StarClan could hear!

I'm going to rule this Clan one day! Diamondpaw thought, her rainbow eyes reflecting the stars in the afternoon sky.
