Days had passed as Dia name as the "Demonic Brawler". Not the best or preferred nickname but it was showing their name as a team. Leonidas win streak had increased by forty which lead him with a fifty win streak without any loses. Though the dragon still crave a true challenge, not wasting his time on the weaklings with no real effort. Not even a brawl.

The only positive thing that was coming out of all these brawls was that Dia grown used to hurling Diamond Faction bakucores. An impressive feat.

If she wasn't the only Diamond Faction brawler. It seemed like she was isolated from the rest. As if she should be feared and hide away like Princess Elsa. Only instead of the wonderous powers of ice and angelic snow, it was her Bakugan that frighten them like small children.

"Have you found new prey yet?! I desired twenty- no, thirty brawls to sastify me today! School or where ever you go to isn't in the way this time! Now find me a fight girl!" As per usual, Leonidas appetite for brawls grew more and more.

It would be nice if Leonidas would address her by her name. Dia could only assume that it was because of what those scientists did to him. Prehaps he needed more time to heal. Only then will come the day that he could trust her enough to say her name.

"There is a park near the school. We could try there. Just remember what we talked about Leo" Dia got ready to leave. Putting the address on her phone.

"YES,YES! BE "GENTLE" IN WINNING" He grumbled. Annoyed he had to restrict his strength.

What was he? A caged beast that needs his claws cut.

Jasper got her one as a reward for winning the Art competition in the area. She submitted a painting which she based around a brawl she took part of.  One where diamond clased against the waters of a Webam. She painted the brawl as a form of a abstract. Shapes and splatters which told a story of the fight between the elements.

All under her artist's name, Gemstone Rainbow. Based around two things she likes. Gemstones of all times and the variety of them. She never was a fan for their beauty, rather she was fascinated by the meaning behind them all.  Colors were similar yet different. They could represent emotions and characteristics. As if each told a story about one's self. Waiting for Dia to see their part of the story.

Her phone gave her the location. It seemed that their was an event at the area too. Seeing how there were several comments and reviews.

"GIRL! SOMETIME TODAY!" Leonidas snapped her back to realty.

"Y-yeah! Sorry Leo" The two then departed to the park.

The trip to the park wasn't so bad. Who knew that Leonidas found the bus ride peaceful? Not as grumpy as she thought he was.

Looks and actions are masks to those who feel vulnerable or untrusting . A way to confront dangers and shield themselves by putting up a persona front. Walling themselves by an alias they created to face the outside world in their stead.

Like humans, Bakugan could easily do the same.

The park had quite the crowd. Like there was a live performance. Could be another all out brawl competition.

Did Leonidas just get his wish granted?! Did a falling star from somewhere in the world hear his wish?! If so....

Dia could only hope that star still had enough power to grant her deeply desired wish.

Dia looked around to see why hundreds if not, thousands of kids were fangirling around a park. Celebrity? Someone famous? The mayor?

"What could everyone be so worked up abooooooo-" There she got her answer.

There before her very eyes was the one ....the only....WYNTON STYLES!! The Awesome Ones very own Ventus brawler. Dia couldn't believe her eyes.

Was this a dream? WAS THIS A DREAM?! If so, leave her in the dreamland!

Wynton seemed to notice her. Rather, he noticed Leonidas trying to snap her out of her daze.

"DARN GIRL! THIS IS NOT A TIME TO DAYDREAM! I WANT TO BRAWL!" He tugged at her shirt as he attempted to snap her out of whatever trance she fell under.

"Excuse me, are you the "Demonic Brawler"? Wynton walked to Dia. Offering a friendly smile to a new face.

His voice seemed to awaken her from sleep casted upon mind.

"H-huh? Oh! Yeah that's us! I am a HUGE fan! I am Diana Jenkins, though I prefer my nickname Dia. Though if you like to call me Diana better than I don't mind" She got all flusyered at meeting one of her big idols.

Not to mention her FAVORITE one. If this was real then someone pinch her.

"I saw your brawl against that Cloptor. You two may have a scary brawling style, but it's clear that you two are strong! I like to brawl you myself before introducing you to the others" Wynton seemed to be the first brawler not to be scared.

Not to mention that he COMPLIMENTED her. Oooooh it was as sweet as a chocolate sundae with the whip cream and cherry replaced by marshmellow and rainbow sprinkles. Dia's most favorite dessert!

WAIT....Did he just say that she would met the others after they brawl?! DID HE JUST SAY THAT HE WANTED TO BRAWL HER?!

Getting over the whole fangirl daze, the two got ready to brawl. Leonidas grateful for what seemed finally be a true brawl. Dia vowed not to lose! There was too much on the line to fail here.

Both called out to the drome as it rose above them. The battle arena was set and awaited for fighters to duel inside it.

"Bakugan Brawl! Arise Ventus Trox!" Wynton brawled out his guardian bakugan and most trustworthy partner.

Trox roared as he emerged in his true size. His eyes locked upin Dia. Waiting for her to brawl out the "Demonic Bakugan".

"Let's do this Leonidas!" Dia grabbed her bakuball in midair before getting in her brawlering stance. "Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Rise up Diamond Leonidas!"

Leonidas emerged at full size before unleashing his roar. A roar that would send his opponents in a state of uncurable fear.

However Wynton and Trox were the first, if not the only ones to not show fear.

"OMGOSH!! We are really brawling Wynton and Trox!!! This is the BEST DAY!!!!!" Dia could not cover up her excitement.

How many can say that they were not only meet but brawling against their idols! It was taking all her will power not to faint right now!

Leonidas couldn't help but snarl in anger. Had this child had no shame with her behavior?! One should NEVER let down their guard against an opponent!

That's how he normally destroyed his foes after all.

While the two were distracted, Wynton and Trox took advantage and decided to make the first move.

"Sonic Uproar!" Wynton commanded the attack.

Trox obey the command. Proceeding to attack Leonidas.

Leonidas too the attack as it actually managed to move him a few feet. He did lose 200g which now left him at 600g now. Though he didn't care so much for that. Not that it really damaged him.

Nothing can truly hurt a diamond. There were reasons why they can CUT anything.

Leonidas smiled as he shrugged off the damage that he had just been dealt. He even chuckled amusedly before his eyes narrow on Trox.

"FINALLY! AT LONG LAST, A BAKUGAN WHO CAN PUT ON AN ACTUAL FIGHT AGAINST ME! THE HEAVENS OF THE FALLEN HAVE HEARD MY DESIRES! NOW I CAN REALLY SHOW MY POWER!" Now Leonidas could have his fun.

"Diamond Spiral!" Dia called out. Hurling a bakucore towards Leo.

Leonidas grin more as his body glew. Soon diamons coated his entire body before it was encased completely. Them he flew towards Trox and spinned his body at a rapid speed. Till all that could be seen was a hyper spinning spiral heading straight towards Trox. 

The attack hit Trox dead on which left him at 300gs. Yet unlike the usual opponents, Trox was still standing.

"Not bad Dia, I see why you two are strong. Trox and me are not going down that easily though.

Dia could say the same thing. It was like she was in the best dream of her life.

Both sides really giving it their all. Not knowing that a certain group was watching them.

That group was the Awesome Ones themselves.

They were not the only ones watching. A certain green haired woman was watching and recording the brawl from a distance where she could not be noticed.

"LE0 still has not awoken his true strength. Let's hope that girl can draw it out" She spoke to herself. Contining to record the data.

Everything seemed to depend on the two of them. Leonidas and Dia.

The brawl raged on as the titans clashed, fang to fang and claw to claw. The Ventus Tyrannosaur Rex verus the Diamond Demonic dragon in a heated battle. For the first time that Leonidas felt a rush of the fight. Feeling his strength tested against the opponents, to the point that they were burning.

Pushing his limits to overcome his opponent's powers and strength. This brawl against Trox was a perfect example of that. NOW THIS WSS THE CHALLENGE HE LONGED FOR!!!

"Not bad for a Ventus Bakugan. Possibly the first timevever to give me a true brawl. As fun as this has been, I believe it is about time to put this brawl to an end!" Leonidas gestured to Dia. Telling her that it's time for the  final move!

"It is clear that your strength allows you to uphold the title of "Demonic Bakugan". However I do not intend to lose so easily" Trox seemed ready to wrap up the match as well.

Troxx was at 300g

Leonidas had  been reduced to 400g

Whoever landed this final attack first would ne the victor. It would all fall upon the speed and choice of attack.

Dia had a feeling of the move that Wynton would rely on. The move that he favored among Trox other abilities. It would be thanks to that knowledge that would guide Dia and Leonidas to victory.

Who says that watching videos is a waste of time? Now time to use that knowledge to claim the win.

"Sonic Uproar!" Wynton threw a green bakucore to Trox.

Trox let out out a sonic attack towards Leonidas. Aimed towards him.

Leonidas remained unmoved. Waiting for the attack order to come.

Dia closed her eyes, mentally counting down when the right moment would be to call the attack.

"Reflective Coating!" Dia hurled a bakucore at Leonidas which gave him an additional 200g!

Leonidas diamond scales glow brightly as it mimicked the effects of a mirror. Bouncing back Trox's Sonic Uproar back at him.

Sorry Trox! Looks like the attack was returned to sender!

Wynton picked up Trox bakugan ball. He wasn't upset or mad at the loss. In fact, he was expecting to lose. This match was to see Leonidas in action.

He wasn't expecting a reflective move though. It was as if they knew the vwry moves he was about to pick and use.

Dia couldn't be a psychic right? Future sight was a complete myth.....right?

"Wynton!" Among the crowd, a voice seem to cut through the gasps and cheers.

Dia turned to see the owner. Her jaw hit the ground like it would if she was a wacky cartoon character like a Looney Tunes.

There standing right in front of her were the rest of the Awesome Ones!

The cute yet adorable french bulldog and Darkrus Brawler of the team, Lightning. He was even more adorable in real life. His partner was Darkrus Howlkor, a cerbrus of the dark faction of bakugan. He offer translates for Lightning, or so Dia has heard .

Would it be out of line if Dia wanted to hug and cuddle the heck out of the cutiepie?

Next was kind and well mannered Shun that was rather mature for his age. His cool and calm headed personality was just one of the characteristics that made him a skilled Aquos brawlers. His bakugan was Hydorous. The Aquos lion that was fierce and calm like the ocean.

Being new to the Awesome Ones himself, Dia wondered if Shun would offer any advice to making friends. It would be a dream if she could be one of his.

That is if he would like her. She could see if he like anime like she did? She knows there was one about a yellow teddy bear.

The Haos user and only girl on the time was none other than Lia Venegas. The one who posts the videos and seemed to be the one who had the most creative ideas for the videos. Her fashionable style also stood out. It completely matched the beauty of her guardian Bakugan, Pegatrix.

It seem only fitting that a beautiful and skilled girl to get a breathtaking Bakugan like Pegatrix.

Dia could only home that she would have a Bakugan like that.

Not saying that Leonidas wasn't great. He was an incredible partner! PLEASE DON'T HATE HER LEO! YOU ARE THE NUMBER 1 IN HER EYES!

Dia could offer a few video ideas to Lia if she like to hear them. They could even discuss fashion tips.

Though the last but certainly not least was Dan Kouzo. The Pyrus user who wields Drago. Probably the only member whose been in the most brawls too. The brave one who isn't afraid, not backing down from any challenge. He has saved the Bakugan world and Earth from multiple dangers time and time again. Truly a hero figure.

Now if only he could get BETTER grades. Dia never met him at school but there was a board of grades at the front outside of class.

Dia always found his name at the very bottom.

Maybe she could offer to tutor him in the classes she was good at. It would be an honor to!

Being able to spend time with any of them would be the greatest honor to anyone! Yet did she truly have any hope to have such an honor? She was still a novice compare to the legendary brawlers they were.

Each have faced trials that she couldn't even imagine. All she seemed to do was beat others thanks to Leonidas.

The brawl with Wynton was most likely all her luck putting the brawl in her favor.

Why would they ever wanna hang out with her? A pipe dream that may never come tr-

"Dia right?" Dan voice seem to break her out of the trance of negative that was placed on her.

"Y-yes?" She replied. Stuttering a bit due to being startled.

"We saw your match against Wynton. I've never seen a bakugan like yours but that match was AMAZING!!!" Dan Kouzo just PRAISED her

"Yeah that last minute move was genius! Not to mention it was just beautiful to watch!" Shun call her a GENIUS

GENIUS!!

"Is it alright if I post the brawl on our channel? I would love to have more brawls against Leo too" Lia asked, smiling a welcoming smile towards her.

More video?! Lia Venegas wanted more videos with her?!

This all felt like a dream come true. She could happily faint at any moment.

Lightning bark happy to meet a new friend. Especially if they were one that had great brawling skills!

Leonidas could not understand why his partner was acting like this about a bunch of kids. She was a kid just like them. Only that she was blessed with the opportunity of being his partner.

It was then a thought hit him. If these kids had bakugan similar to Trox, then he would have the opponents he wanted. Finally he could really have matches that wereworthy of his potential.

"Why not hang out?" Leonidas offered. Hopong he did not just messed this up by saying the wrong word.

"Hang Out" was what humans say when they wish to meet again and spend time together right?

Dia looked at him in shock. Like she couldn't believe that he just said that. She tried to apologize for her partner rudeness.

However Wynton seemed to like the idea. It would be a way to learn more about Leonidas and about the cute girl that was his partner.

Not that she was cute that he "like liked" her. Though that didn't meant that Dia wasn't good looking in his eyes.

"Why not? After all, Trox and I need a rematch too. So Dia how about we hang out tomorrow?" He asked, offering his hand to her.

Dia face was completely pink. Flustered and in disbelief pf what she just heard.

The Awesome Ones...

Dia was so overloaded with excitement that she fainted right then and there.

Leonidas looked at her than to the group that was panicking. Asking if she was okay. Shun getting ready to call 911.

"Tomorrow works" Leonidas answered before dragging her home.

They all watched wide eye at how he was able to drag her in his small form.

Dia owes Leo one big time! He got her to hang out with the group that she idealized since the very day she found them.

May they help her on this journey to be the brawler she would become.

Though let's hope that she doesn't nearly give them a heart attack the next time they would meet.
