Here is a tale from the ancient times of Vestoria. A tale which dates back to Vestoria earlier years, where the factions were all beginning to form. Hidden among them where no one thought ever exist. In the depths of Vestoria lies the birth place of all Diamond Faction Bakugan. A city within the underground caverns which walls were coated in majestic gemstone crystals. The realm itsrlf looked similar to a castle with a village surrounding it. Diamond Bakugan patrolling the entire area for any possible intruders. Two Bakugan oversaw the entire faction. Which both were not only siblings, but each born with a special power. Two out of the ten legendary powers were lay hidden away in the world's eyes.

The older sibling was known as Traxxarus who was blessed with the power to summon incredible beasts which were forged from the gemstones of their city. A humaniod Bakugan whose face is completely concealed by a black onyx mask. Keeping anyone from seeing any of his true facial features. His hair made of thick red crystals tied back into a sharp tip ponytail. He wore a black suit of unbreakable crystal armor with a dark crimson cape that acted as wings, and shown his authority as the overseer to his faction.

Often seen only within the castle since he never is seen leaving. Only doing so  for absolute serious matters. Meeting with the other overseers with powers was a prime example. Genesis however always seemed to annoy him. He did not dislike the dragon nor did he not respect him. Traxxarus just found his attitude rather childish.

His younger sister however seemed to be greatly amused by the crystal dragon. He prayed that his characteristics would not rub off on her.

The younger sibling was known as Codexilia Evelyix or "Code Eve" for short. The one who gave all the Diamond Faction Bakugan a powerful surge in power to protect the home they knew as Vestoria. To keep everyone safe even at the cost of their lives. "Code Eve" often giving up large amounts of her own life force to assure all were safe. A humaniod Bakugan with golden amber eyes. Her skin a pale white that could mistake her as a Haos Faction member. Her hair flow long as it's diamond glow sparkled in the cavern light, aura emitting her emotions and radiating power. She wore a white dress which was decorated with crystals representing each faction lika a rainbow. On her wrists were two bracelets with two large diamond in the center. On her feet were a rare pair of diamond heels. Only one of a kind.

"Code Eve" was the face that the entire faction adored and never wavered loyalty to her. In their eyes, she was their precious queen. A queen whose power was desired by those who only wished it for evil purposes. Days were many of her friends fall just to prevent the destruction of Vestoria.

All as she was hidden away in the castle. Like a prison who could never truly escape.

This story tells how the two fell. A story of a betrayal by one they once called an ally. Though not their friend who would be visited.

"Genesis!" The arrival of the gemstone dragon was always a delight to Eve since he and her were always close.

"Heh heh. Well if it isn't the "Diamond Queen". It's been over forty moons since I last saw you" The dragon scooped her up and twirled her in the air.

Eve giggled like a child. Given how she and Traxxarus were the youngest of the power holders, it was a relief to see Eve having a childish side.

After all, Eve was only 900 years old. Basically the same as a nine year old child on earth if they were around at that time.

Traxxarus came to greet Genesis as well. As per usual, the dragon seemed to treat his sister as a child. Not what he wanted to show in front of the guards.

"Put Eve down, Genesis. I believe you wished to discuss a matter with me and not her. I kindly would appreciate if you stop acting like a fool and come to my throne room to talk" Traxxarus never was one for such displays of foolishness.

Near his side was his most loyal beast. The black serpentine dragon who he granted the name of Slitherion. His first and most deadliest of beast who never truly leaves his side.

Genesis always felt uneasy as if that cursed reptile would drain the life out of him. He could count the number of times which Traxxarus nearly allow it too.

Genesis put Eve down before joining Traxxarus into the black jade like room which was only made by the darkest gems. Eve despite having been  told to remain outside, entered the room to hear the conversation.

Eve was never one who wanted to be left out. Never wanting to be alone. Sliterion played with her while the other two bakugan began their chat.

"It seems the ancients want to have us step down from our place. They also seem to think we are no longer needed. That our powers will be better suited with new holders. Ones that shall inherit our souls" Genesis got straight to the point. Knowing how Traxxarus never liked him messing around.

"I see. The golden bakugan of the newly formed Supreme Council thinks we are a threat.  I take it that we at least get a vote" Traxxarus gestured his hands for Genesis to provide an answer.

"Well" Genesis seemed hesitated before letting out a long sigh. "The votes are eight out of ten. Mine being among them. Even if my body is to be destroyed, I like to believe the one to recieve my power shall use it for the greater good"

Traxxarus did not seem to fully approve of the decision. Especially if they would be outvoted anyways. He may be a shut in for a ruler, but he should have been informed the moment the decision was made.

It could only mean that something was not right. Why were the only youngest members excluded from the decision?

"Are we gonna die?" Eve voice caused the two to look at the young queen  with heartbroken looks.

Genesis didn't know how to answer that. HOW COULD HE GIVE AN ANSWER LIKE THAT?!

Luckily for him, Traxxarus did that for him.

"No. Think of it as reliving a life in a new form" Traxxarus reassured his little sister.

"Will we be able to relive that life together?" Eve asked. Her amber eyes full of hope.

Traxxarus did not know the answer to that. Chances of that happening were slim to say the very least. However he could not allow her to lose the sparkle in her eyes. He would believe in five percent.... no he would believe in the one percent chance that they would be together in their new life.

"Of course, my dear "Gem sister" He brought her in for a hug.

Genesis watched the wholesome moment of the two siblings. Smiling at how close the two were.

If only that moment could have lasted.  All before the Golden Bakugan attacked. The one who destroyed the rulers of the faction before getting destroyed itself.

Very few Bakugan find Diamond City. Even fewer are allowed to enter with the rulers permission. One being the golden Bakugan who only went by the title of "Judge". A raven mask covering over his eyes which only shown his dark red pupils. He wore a military style of armor. Wearing it with a golden hooded cloak to keep the rest of his appearance. What shone more brightly than the gemstones of Diamond City were his two golden raipers which Genesis crafted for him personally.

Genesis had a habit of making gifts for his friends. Though only "Judge" seemed to get the weapons. Seems like Genesis had a favorite among ten warriors.

The guards allowed him entree into the city. The "Judge" is the only other Bakugan than Genesis, who were allowed to be in their city. Having to assist the two rulers multiple times to gain such deep trust. Genesis seemed close to both of the Diamond Faction rulers, yet it was clear that he favored Eve more. Treating her like the little sister he never had.

Traxxarus could see this and it caused him to sick a few of his traps on the dragon from time to time during visits. Mostly using Slitherion since Genesis feared the serpentine dragon the most.

"Judge" and Traxxarus held a strong friendship. Since both held great interest in one another's abilities. From the day the two first encountered each other, they couldn't help but want to learn more about one another. One a Bakugan who is hidden from most of the world. The other the golden Bakugan who helped formed the Supreme Council. A unique friendship to those who ever come to know of it.

Another bonus was that "Judge" didn't seem to be frightening the Bakugan traps. Seeing them as only ADORABLE CREATURES WHO WERE CUTIEPIES!!

"Judge" entered the castle. Sensing their auras which provided a path to Traxxarus personal throne room. Many of times that Traxxarus invited him for a friendly chat. Dear memories were in that very room.

Ashame that this would not be a friendly matter.

Rather a personal mission to keep his dearest friends safe. Prehaps not in this life but in the next lifetime. To not allow their powers to be used for a force of evil. Happening to overhear a member of the coucil true intentions for the ten legendary powers.

A member who only sought to fill his greed for power. A despicable being who had no heart what so ever.

He praya that somewhere deep down that his friends could forgive him. A betrayal such as this would the most excruciating wound which he would carry throughout all his reincarnated lives. May one of these lives reunite with his friends. Making up for the most most unforgivable thing anyone could do to a friend.

He waited till Genesis left. He couldn't bare to let the dragon watch such horror. These two meant alot to him after all.

It was then that he came into the throne room. Traxxarus had his back turned which was rare. Much more rare, Slitherion had been dismissed from his side. "Judge" readied his raipers as he carefully snuck behind him. Ready to deal the blow.

"This is how I want to be defeated"  "Judge" was startled by Traxxarus voice.

How it was not one filled with anger of betrayal or of fear of death. No, this voice was calm and gentle.

"Judge" could see Eve nestled in her brothers arms. Deep in slumber as he would have expected at this time.

"I had a feeling you be the one to take us out. Not as an act of betrayal. No, I know you far better than that old friend. You are trying to prevent something but having to dirty your hands in the process. I find it at comforting that my embrace will be our last moment together. One not of fear but love. A family love that forged over years. Friendships that did not criticized one another. Can I be a bit selfish to ask one final wish?" If Traxxarus could cry then he would. Only he kept that same tone the hold way through.

The "Judge" grip on his raipers were shakey as he struggled to keep from breaking down. He could only nod since he found no strength to give a verbal response.

"Promise that in our lives pass this one that you'll keep my sister and Genesis safe. Whether I become villian or hero...." Traxxarus kissed Eve head for the last time as his sights remained on his sister cute sleeping face. "Put them ahead of whatever you may think of me. Even if I lay bleeding, go to them. Promise me friend"

"..........Yes....I promise" The cracking voice from behind vowed.

Traxxarus smiled as he hugged his sister tightly. Moments later their bodies vanished as the raipers made contact.

Years past as the two rulers were indeed reincarnated. Only they were not Bakugan. Mortals of the planet known as Earth. Two inviduals who been blessed with the powers of the Diamond Faction.

The souls of Eve and Traxxarus resting within them. Whether their paths shall ever cross is uncertain to say.  For years their souls laid dormant in the hidden spots of Vestoris, only after the events of the "Great Collision" have they truly found the hosts they seek.

Drogo and Dia. The only two Diamond brawlers known. Shall they further improve these new powers? Shall they look into the past for more answers?

Well it depends on the choices both make.

Such as the choice which Dia will have to make very soon. Four children and a french bulldog entered the flrest were Dia is training. What business do they have with her?

All shall be brought to life soon. Much sooner since it be a great way for Dia to get a break from Magnus extreme level training.
