4- Cleaning

*Dinner*

(F/n)'s POV

"(F/n), when everyone's done eating I want you on dish duty." Levi said. "B-" "And before you protest, you're also going to clean the mess hall." He cut me off.

"Alright, fine." I sighed. Levi got up and walked out of the mess hall. After everyone finished eating, I gathered all of their dishes and started to clean them in the sink.

I don't know how long it would take me just to clean the dishes, but I knew I would most likely be here all night.

Time Skip

It's been four hours and I finally finished cleaning all of the dishes. I never realized how many cadets there were here until now!

Time to clean the tables.

I grabbed a wet cloth and started to wipe a table down.

Fuck me. There's fifty tables in here!

I started humming as I cleaned off the first table. "One down, forty nine more to go." I muttered to myself.

Levi's POV (*gasps*)

It was currently eleven at night. I still haven't seen cadet (f/n) return to her room to go to bed yet. I would check on her in the mess hall every hour to see how much progress she's made, and it was time for me to check in again.

When I opened the mess hall door, I saw a sleeping figure on the floor. I walked over to (f/n), she was sleeping on her side. I gently pushed her over on her back with my foot. "Oi, cadet. Wake up." I said in a bored tone.

All I got for a response, was her groaning and turning on to her other side. Sighing, I bent over and grabbed one of her legs and started dragging her out of the room.

Man she's a deep sleeper. I've been dragging her across a hard wooden floor for five minutes now and nothing?!

I turned a corner and heard a loud thud in the process. Stopping in my tracks and slowly looking over my shoulder, I saw that (f/n) hit her forehead on the corner of the wall.

My eyes widened and I covered my mouth, trying to hold in a small laugh.

Oh God..my bad..

I let go of her leg, walking over to her upper half and kneeling down beside her.

She's still sleeping?! Damn.

I checked her forehead and saw a large red mark on it now. "Sorry!" I whispered.

Nice going Levi, going off and temporarily injuring girls especially when you really li-

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard Hanji start shouting from down the hall. "Oh, Levvvvvi~" she sang. "Oi, shitty glasses! Be quiet!" I whisper/shouted at her.

"Sorry!" She skipped over to me, giggling when she saw the sleeping (f/n) next to me. "What's going on over here? Bruise on her head, knocked out, a short man next to her-wait..what were you doing?" She smirked.

"None of that!" I scoffed. "Yeah, okay." She replied, still smirking evilly. I rolled my eyes and grabbed (f/n)'s leg again. "Why don't you just carry her, silly?" Hanji giggled.

"I don't feel like it." I hesitated. "Excuses, excuses." She sighed.

Dammit.

I quickened up my walking to get out of this awkward situation. "Goodnight, humanities shortest solider!" Hanji hollered as I walked faster.

Fucking Titan-obsessed woman.

I got to (f/n)'s room and opened the door, dragging her inside. "How does one simply sleep through all of this chaos? Must have been really exhausted then." I whispered to myself.

We got to the side of her bed now,

Shit..how do I get her up there? I don't want to pick her up and have her wake up in the middle of it. That would be awkward.

"Guess the only thing I can do, is pick you up." I quietly sighed, bending over to pick her up. I grabbed her arms and pulled her up into a sitting position, then wrapped my arms around her torso, slowly lifting her off the ground.

As soon as I got her off the ground, I took a step backwards towards her bed. Big mistake. I tripped over something and fell backwards, landing on my back with (f/n) on top of me.

Except for one thing. This had me blushing a little too much. When she landed on me, she didn't just land on me. Nope. Her breasts were in my face.

"So..are we just going to stay like this?" I asked myself, my voice muffled. It was dark in her room, for there were no candles lit at the moment. I shoved her off of me and while standing up, she pulled me back down.

This time I landed on top of her and she latched herself to me. Arms and legs wrapped around me, even. "This is going to fun to explain in the morning." I sighed to myself with sarcasm.

(F/n)'s POV

I was peacefully sleeping, holding on to my pillow tightly. But then I felt something move against me.

What the..?

Whatever it was, it was warm and cozy.

I opened one eye, but it was too dark in here to see.

Wait..where am I?

I opened my other eye, trying to see through the dark.

Shrugging, I decided to go back to sleep.

I don't care where I am..I just want to sleep longer.

Time Skip

I woke up to a bright light shining through my eyelids.

Stupid sun.

I shielded my eyes from the sun as I opened them.

I noticed something odd though. I wasn't on my bed. I was lying on the floor. And I was using a human being as a body pillow.

I looked up a little and saw midnight black hair.

WHAT THE FUCKING SHIT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT?!

I started to internally panic as I tried to recall memories from the previous day.

I don't remember anything! Only when I was cleaning the mess hall..that's the only memory I have.

I sat up, looking at Levi's sleepy face.

He looked beyond exhausted. His eyelids were almost shut, his mouth slightly agape. "L-Levi..?" I whispered. "Hmm?" I heard him hum, his eyes opening up more now.

"Why was I sleeping on you?" I asked, unnoticeably blushing. "I found you asleep in the mess hall so I brought you back here. You wouldn't let me leave, so you clung yourself to me like a magnet." He sighed, getting up as well.

"Oh. S-sorry." I mumbled. "Tch." Was all he replied with. "Did you get any sleep though? You look really tired." I asked, stretching. "Barely. Like an hour at most." He yawned.

Aw, poor Levi. I feel really bad that I kept him up all night.

"I was going to give you a punishment for not finishing cleaning the mess hall..*yawn* but-"

"No, I deserve to be disciplined." I cut him off. "Alright whatever." Levi sighed, "I'll run laps until I pass out." I replied. "You do you." He said before walking out of my room.

I'm so confused..

I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a clean uniform, then went down the hall to the showers.

Time Skip

I finished training earlier so I got started with my punishment for not finishing my chores last night. Levi didn't really give me a punishment, so I decided to run a few laps.

Before I was about to start my first lap, I noticed an intrigued Levi watching me.

Levi's POV

I watched as (f/n) started her laps. As I watched her, I barely noticed that my gaze was slowly moving downward.

Stop it Levi! You damn pervert.

I had to mentally scold myself.

I couldn't help it, I mean her breasts were bouncing a bit so who wouldn't look?! I looked away for a few minutes, deciding I should go back inside before she distracts me even more.

It's been around two hours since I came back inside. I got up from my desk chair and looked outside my window since I had a view of the training grounds.

There I saw (f/n) still running, but slower than when she first started. Sighing, I left my office to go tell her she didn't need to run anymore. I couldn't help but think why I was staring at her earlier.

It's not like I enjoy staring at her body..right?

Shaking the thought out of my head, I made it outside to the training grounds. "Oi, (l/n). You can be done with laps now." I hollered.

I watched as she stopped in her tracks, turning around to look at me. She nodded and walked past me. My gaze followed her as she walked away. I couldn't help but watch the way her hips swayed with each step she took.

Dammit, Levi! You're staring again!

I turned my head back to the front, trying to find something else to look at. A few seconds later, I turned around again and noticed she was gone.

"What am I going to do about myself?" I mumbled. Between her sleeping on me last night and me looking at her creepily, she was messing with my head!

I rolled my eyes and went inside as well for it was almost time for dinner. I waited in my office, doing paperwork until it time to eat. Then there was a knock on my door.

"Come in." I sighed. I heard quick footsteps enter and walk towards me. Without having to look up from the papers, I already knew it was Hanji. "What is it?" I asked, still not looking up at her.

"I saw you earlier." She giggled. "Good for you." I rolled my eyes. "That's not what I meant." She replied. "Then what do you mean?" I asked her. "I mean~ I saw you staring at (f/n)." She snickered.

I froze in my spot and stopped writing, my eyes widened ever so slightly. "Please don't say anything at dinner." I begged. "Don't worry! My lips are sealed, I promise." She smiled.

Tch. Last time I heard that, you almost got me killed!

"Thank you." I sighed, not fully trusting her promise. "Oh, and by the way shorty, dinner is served." She grinned, walking out of the door.

You better keep that fucking promise. Getting up from my desk, I walked to the mess hall and saw (f/n) sitting with my squad again. They must really enjoy her company.

"Good evening, sir." They all greeted in unison, except for (f/n). "Tch." I replied, before taking a sip of my tea I got. I looked over in (f/n)'s direction and received a small smile from her.

Then a thought ran through my mind.

Flash back

We've known (f/n) for almost a year now, and I've grown quite fond of her. She's a great friend. Sweet, caring, determined, strong, smart and so on.

I started to notice that I would get a funny feeling inside of me whenever I was around her now. I didn't know how to describe this "feeling". It wasn't bad, it was a good feeling I guess.

Just seeing her face or hearing the sound of her gentle voice could make my day. Even if I was really pissed off.

On an almost normal day, we were sitting around in the kitchen of the abandoned house Farlan, Isabel and I stayed in. I wasn't paying much attention to the conversation being held, but I heard (f/n) start giggling.

I looked up at her and saw her do a spit-take with her water she had. She was laughing so hard that her face was red. "Calm down." I spoke to her.

She pointed across the table at Isabel. I shifted my gaze over to Isabel and saw her making a face at Farlan. "C'mon, Farlan!" She whined.

"No!" He quickly replied. "Ugh, you're the worst." She rolled her eyes. "Why's that?" I asked her. "He won't let me attempt to make dinner tonight." She sighed.

"But that's a good thing..you'd probably burn down the place!" I replied. "No I wouldn't!" She frowned. "Alright whatever."

"Levi's got a point though." (F/n) spoke up, placing a hand on mine. My eyes widened a fraction as I stared at our hands that were touching.

A small blush creeped on to my cheeks as I looked away, trying not to think about it.

Flash back end

I remember when I first started having feelings for (f/n) when we were younger. But of course, I lost those feelings for her since we haven't seen each other in years.

A shame though. But she probably wouldn't feel the same for me if I still did feel that way for her.
