Many people quote Deuteronomy 22:5 claiming that it is wrong for women to wear trousers, but that's not what this verse is saying.

Trousers had not even been invented when this verse was written. The men wore garments—dresses basically.

Besides, these days, trousers aren't strictly men's clothing anymore. There are trousers specifically made for men and those made for women.

In Contemporary English Version, it says:

"Women must not pretend to be men, and men must not pretend to be women. The Lord your God is disgusted with people who do that."

The verse is actually talking about you trying to change yourself from the way God created you.

Women wearing trousers only becomes a sin when the purpose for which you wear it is wrong or when you put it over God. It's all about your heart.
