After school, the twins are now closer than before as they no longer are mad at each other. Speaking of the twins, Riki has gotten soft with the brothers especially Subaru whom she sees him as a little brother, but unlike her sister, Niki is still cold and distant towards Shu and her brothers. Ever since the incident with Shu back in night school at the music room, she starts to have strange feelings for Shu as she looks back from what Shu had said to her.

You don't hate me...are you?...

Niki then brushed off the memory of Shu asking her while she walks in the hallway, she pulls out a necklace that her ex gave her before they broke up.

She then clenched her hand gripping the necklace with pure anger and feels betrayed by what he did.

Why? Just why does love have to hurt?

She thought as she looks back at the time that she and her boyfriend were together.

****Niki's Flashback****

It was back in the underworld where and her boyfriend Azazel are running around the dumpster happily.

****Niki's ex boyfriend Azazel before they broke up^****

"Niki come on!"

"Coming dude!"

She giggled as she and Azazel rolled down from the hill of garbage, both of them laughed happily with Azazel kissing Niki's cheek while she giggled at him. She then embraced her boyfriend with so much love and kissed his cheek.

"I'm so glad I get to hang with you Azazel."

She grinned sweetly at him.

"Yeah me too. Oh that reminds me Niki, I got something for you."

"Really?"

She asked with a sweet smile.

"Yeah close your eyes."

"Mhm."

Niki then closed her eyes as Azazel pulled out a heart shaped necklace with nails punctured all over it as he wraps the necklace around her neck. He then whispered her ear.

"Opened your eyes."

He whispered as she opened her eyes, she looks down to see a gorgeous heart shaped necklace and smiled warmly at it.

"Omg is this for me?"

She asked gazing at the necklace with loving eyes.

"Yep just for you baby.~"

He cooed into her ear and Niki looked at her boyfriend with loving eyes.

"You're so sweet."

She then gave him a kiss on the lips and Azazel wrapped his arm around her.

"Will you stay with me forever?"

She asked with a sweet grin as he gives her a loving kiss on the cheek.

"Always."

He grinned as Niki snuggled into his chest, they both sat down watching the night sky.

They're relationship was once a loving and heartwarming one, however what Niki didn't know is that her boyfriend hiding something that she doesn't know about. Something that she can't forget, something that she can not forgive him for.

"Where is he? He hasn't been taking my calls for four days now. He doesn't even respond to my texts, where could he be?"

She asked curiously showing to be worried about Azazel until she heard a loud noise from the living room.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!"

She growled with so much rage as Niki tilt her head curiously recognizing her voice.

"Was that Riki?"

She then ran over to nearest hallway where she peered at the room where Riki confronting Azazel.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO NIKI?!"

She demanded unhappy about something.

"What are you talking about?"

He asked impatiently as Niki has no idea what's going on.

Why is Riki yelling at Azazel for?

She thought while eavesdropping on them from the hallway.

"Don't lie to me you cold hearted narcissist! I saw what you did to that girl! You were kissing another girl behind my sister's back! How could you do that to her?!"

She demanded not happy with his unfaithfulness which shocks Niki.

He did what?!

She thought dumbfounded by what she said to him as she kept watching them. Azazel loses his patience and retort her question.

"So what? It's not like I owe her or anything, I gave her everything she liked just like all the women I've been."

He retorted coldly with Niki shocked by his sudden behavior.

What?....

She thought as she became shocked by his sudden behavior, she watches Riki losing her temper.

"YOU ARE SUCH A COLD HEARTED NARCISSIST! WHAT WOULD NIKI SAID IF SHE CAUGHT YOU HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH A WOMAN?!"

She snarled at him with Azazel starting to get annoyed with her.

"So what if she finds out? Besides, I can have all the women I want and she means nothing to me. She just a tool that I like to play with and she is so dumb to fall for my charms and looks."

He harshly spat as Niki discovered his true nature, she became hurt by his words and his lies, she couldn't bring the pain no more and opens the door with full anger shocking Riki and Azazel as she glares at her boyfriend.

"And who's the dumb one to fall for your stupid games?"

She asked coldly as she glares at him.

"Oh Niki baby, I didn't see you the-"

"Don't call me that you piece of shit! I heard everything you said to my sister and how dare to speak to my sister like that you scum?!"

She growled at him defending her sister from her boyfriend as Azazel finally revealed his true self to her.

"Yeah I cheated in you so what? It's not like it's not a big deal to me, I'm a demon prince. I can have any girl and anything I want, so what are you going to do?"

Azazel mocked her as she glared at him with so much pain in her eyes.

"Well I hope you're listening cuz it's over between us and most of all."

She pulled out the ring from her finger that Azazel gave her last week and threw it to the ground as she steps on it with so much anger and felt betrayed by what he did shocking both Azazel and Riki.

***Niki's ring that she stepped on after she find out about Azazel's infidelity^***

"Niki...."

She said shock to she her sister breaking her ring that Azazel gave her. Niki then glared straight at him with cold and betrayed eyes.

"Get out and never come back here at this house!"

She demanded as Azazel rolled his eyes and retorts.

"Whatever I'm down with this shut anyway."

Azazel then released his wings and flies out to the window. After Azazel left, Riki came up to Niki where she is heartbroken by his betrayal.

"You ok Niki?"

"Yeah...I'll be fine, he's a son of a bitch to begin with."

Niki coldly replied as Riki hugged her.

"I'm glad you're okay, he doesn't deserve you."

She smirked while hugging her, Niki chuckled and hugged her back.

"Yeah...."

*****Niki's flashback ended****

After looking back at the pain that he puts her through, Niki looked at the necklace and threw it to the window not wanting to look at it no more.

"Tch! Why do I even have that piece of shit with me? Gah I need to listen to more music."

She then pulled out some music as she starts humming the tune from the song expressing her broken heart and betrayal from her ex.

She sang the song beautifully, she spotted Shu staring at her causing her to get irritated.

"Great, what the hell do you want?"

She asked rudely.

"Nothing much."

He replied calmly.

"Then why are you here?"

She asked irritably.

"Just standing here listening, but are you ok?"

Shu asked curiously.

"I'm fine don't worry about it."

She grumbled not wanting to talk to him, but Shu doesn't seem convinced.

"You don't look fine."

"I am."

She assured him getting irritated with him.

"You don't."

"I AM NOW BACK OFF!"

She demanded in a demonic voice with Shu unfazed by her rage causing Niki to stop yelling and blushed as she looks down at the floor.

"...Sorry...."

"No, it's fine."

He spoke calmly as both of them stood there awkwardly.

"Ummm...I gotta go now."

"Do what you want."

He shrugged his shoulders as Niki walked past Shu, both of them start thinking about each other.

What are you doing to me Shu?

She thought as she kept walking down the hallway.

He thought while standing in the hallway, both of them couldn't stop thinking about each other.

Meanwhile at Reiji's room, Riki and Reiji are having a good time together where they both drank tea and chat about their love of tableware.

"Isn't tableware the most elegant thing ever in the whole world?"

Riki chuckled while drinking tea with Reiji.

"Indeed they are, I just like the way they shined so elegantly."

Reiji stated.

"I know right?"

They both chuckled while drinking tea. Then Reiji puts his cup down down on the table politely and asked Riki.

"Ahem so tell me Riki, where did you get that beautiful necklace?"

He asked politely as she touch her sapphire necklace that Adriel gave her for her birthday last year.

****Riki's necklace that Adriel gave her from last years birthday***

"This? Well it happen last year where my butler Adriel gave me this lovely sapphire blue necklace for my birthday. It is very lovely of him to gave me something that is so sweet."

She replied with a blush remembering when he gave her a necklace for her birthday.

"I see...."

Reiji said with a hint of jealousy from his tone.

"So what's so great about this Adriel that you're so fond about?"

He asked politely, but with a jealous tone to it frowning at the thought of Adriel causing Riki to lightly blush at his question.

"Well erm...he's just a kind man..and he's...the only one who would reach out for me whenever I feel sad or upset...."

She then clenches the necklace gently blushing when talking about Adriel.

"...he makes me feel comfortable around him. I just admired his loving and kind words...he's always been with me since me and my sister were little..."

She explained lovingly as Reiji starts to get even more jealous when she kept mentioning his name, but he kept it in and start asking her again.

"Well I am aware of your unrequited feelings for him, what makes you so upset with him?"

He asked her curiously as she fakes a smile.

"It's not that I'm upset with him, it's just...I'm shocked to hear him getting engaged to someone else...but...I have no resentment towards him nor his fiancée...it's not that I hate her or anything. It's just....I'm mad that he didn't told me about his engagement to Diana."

She explained sadly.

"And I assuming that you're having a difficult time accepting your butler's engagement with her?"

He asked curiously as she responded with a nod.

"I do, I just don't know how to approach him not what to say to him...it feels strange for some reason, but I know that jealousy isn't going to make things better. I'm aware of that Reiji."

She assured him knowing her own mistakes, but she doesn't like the fact that she's revealing her weakness to a vampire.

"Heh for once I showed you my weakness, which I hate. It makes me look pathetic and weak when I'm vulnerable especially to you.."

She spoke sadly, but Reiji rubbed her left shoulder gently.

"You're not the only one who shows weakness, I hate showing my weakness too. For all these years, I have been looking down on others who are weaker and pathetic as I saw weakness as a pathetic sign for vampires and the Sakamaki family....."

He strictly explained remembering how he went threw as a kid when his mother neglect him so much.

"Reiji...."

She looked at him with surprised as he grabbed her hands gently, he gets on his knees.

"Riki, i know we barely know each other, but if something is bothering you, will you be honest with me?"

He asked her with serious but soft red eyes where she is moved by his kind words as he reminds her of Adriel. She then formed a smile and nod.

"Yes, of course I will Reiji. Thank you."

She then hugged Reiji as he hugs her back. For the first time, his cold heart that he's been holding for many years has been melted by the woman he cared deeply but loved so much.
