A/N- I'm sorry it's another depressing one, I don't know if you guys like them but I kind of enjoy writing them because I get to let out my emotions. I promise I'll start posting happier yaoi soon, I just need a bit of time to pull myself together. It's not proof read or edited but it's not bad either. So enjoy 💕

"Awww, Subaru-Kuuuun..." Kou's bubbly voice rang out across the living room.
"What is it Kou?" Subaru's angry voice replied. Subaru was resting on his phone and he hadn't talked to Kou all day.
"You've been on the phone all day, let's talk for a bit!" He let out a contagious smile but Subaru didn't respond. "Subaru, talk to me!!"
"I don't want to talk."
"Aww, come on... What's wrong with you? What's so interesting on your phone?"
"Please Kou. Just give me a bit of space."
"But Subaruuu..."
"I SAID GIVE ME SPACE!" His actions shocked Kou, his mouth and eyes going wide.

"Subaru?"
"You clingy bitch! All you ever want is for the attention to be on you so you pester me until I give up what I'm doing. I'm sorry, Kou. I just can't keep doing this. Please, never talk to me again. We're breaking up."
"All because of this? Awww, don't be so dramatic Subaru. I'll get Ruki to look after this..." He yanked the phone out of Subaru's hand. "Then we'll talk it out."
"Hey, give it back now!"
"Why is it so important?" Then he saw the message pop up. 'New picture message from Babe' popped up. Kou unlocked the phone and his eyes widened in horror.
"Subaru...?"
"Give me it back."
"I HATE YOU!" Kou smashed the phone on the floor and ground his foot on it to crush it even more.
Kou went running out of the room with tears streaming down his face. "He can't do this. He can't do this. He can't do this." It repeated in his mind like a broken record as he ran into his bedroom, slamming the door.

From in the kitchen, Ruki heard the slamming of the door and Kou's sobbing. He abandoned the food after turning the heat off and walked up the stairs to Kou's room. He knocked on the door gently. "GO AWAY! I DONT WANT TO SPEAK TO ANYONE!" came a shout from the other side of the door.
"Kou, it's Ruki. Please let me in." Sniffing, Kou wiped his tears away and opened the door. "R-Ruki, Subaru cheated on me and then dumped me..."
"It's okay, come here." Ruki opened his arms for a hug and Kou gratefully went in. "It's his loss. He didn't deserve you anyway."

Kou lead Ruki into his room and sat him on his bed. He just wanted to talk for while. "So, what happened?"
"Subaru hadn't talked to me all day and he kept texting on his phone, so I took it off him. Then he got a nude from some girl and I got really mad. He shouted at me and called me mean name."
"What did he call you?"
"A clingy bitch. I'm not a clingy bitch, am I?"
"No, of course you're not. You're caring, that's all."

Ruki and Kou spent hours talking about their relationship and where it first started going downhill, through this time Kou started to realise just how unhappy he had been with Subaru. Subaru always degraded him, insulting him on his looks or calling him names. He also realised how abusive her really was. He wouldn't let him speak to anyone, or hug anyone. If he did, he'd be pulled back by his wrist and Subaru would shout at him. "See, he wasn't right for you. You're better off without him. He can just go to that slut who was sending him those messages and pictures."
"You're right. He was never any good for me. Your tried to tell me that at the beginning and i never listened. I'm sorry about that."
"It's okay, just promise me you'll never go back to him no matter how much he begs."
"I promise Ruki. I love you."
"I love you too Kou."

They spent a few more hours talking, but not about Subaru, about their favourite things. Kou talked about singing and dancing while Ruki talked about his favourite books. In the middle of one of Ruki's book plot reviews, Kou's head started to droop a little and his eye lids became heavy. Crying had always made the blond sleepy. Seeing that Kou was about to sleep at any second, Ruki picked Kou up and laid him under the covers of his bed. Then Ruki got in next to him and wrapped his arms protectively around his younger brother. They slept peacefully that night and Kou found that it was better than having Subaru in the bed.

Subaru had already left with his broken phone. After hearing what had happened, Yuma had given Subaru a piece of his mind as well as a split lip and a "that's for my brother" talk. Subaru had run away after that, the Mukamis never heard of him again after that.
