Ayato's Pov

I was dating Akari, one of the most beautiful girls that I have ever seen. For the first time of my life I actually feel like I am not dating some girl for her blood, nor because she is so sexy, to tell the truth I like her more than anything else in this world cause she is real and original, not like random chicks that seduce me with their blood's scent or short skirts. She has that childish side that made me want her more. But again, she isn't gonna be my girlfriend for long. Yui finally choose Adam and he is gonna be me, of course I agreed to be hers, I mean 'Come on now, her blood is like heaven in my mouth, I am not so stupid to let this chance slip of my hand!' But of course Akari will be angry about this but again, best quality blood for the rest of my life...

I was heading to our date with Akari, our last date. I waited for a couple of seconds on a bench at the park when I felt hands cover my eyes "Guess who?" she said, her voice was gentle and sweet as some giggles filled the air "I don't know, a trucker?" I joked, she hit me with her hand on my head "No!" she said and sat beside me "So? Why did you want to meet me here so suddenly? Did anything happened?" she asked "Actually yes... You see, Yui chose her Adam and that is me" I said "And you rejected her, right Ayato?" my bangs had covered my eyes, I didn't talk, she started worry "Ayato?... Tell me you rejected her... Ayato! Talk to me!" she screamed "No, I didn't reject her, I am gonna be her Adam" I whispered but my voice was clear so to hear me "Why? Just give me a good reason! I gave you all of me, my first everything, didn't you say? ... And you dump me for Yui? Who? Yui! The girl that came to your house and she suddenly becomes Goddess, for you and your brothers! Tell me what she has that I don't!" she screamed again, no, she didn't cry, she still was rock "It's her blood! I want all of it! I want all of her! Each drop of that heavenly taste... And that's what you don't have! And you will never understand!" I told her, the seconds that passed felt like hours as I looked into her eyes "No, Ayato, I understand" she finally spoke "I finally understand! I understand how low you are! You don't search for love, you search for pleasure! I am leaving... Oh and something more, Ayato. You will never find happiness like that... You will never be happy and wanted or not, you will neved feel completed!" she finished her sentence and left.

~One year later~

Still Ayato's POV

I haven't see Akari for a year now. And I have to admit, I miss her. Her smile, her beautiful black hair that always remind me of the clean night sky, and her eyes... those blue diamonds were by themselves treasure 'But I still chose Yui!' I sighed in the inside. Yui's blood was, is and will always be delicious but that doesn't fill every need of mine, only my thirst. We actually had sex and yes, with Yui have my good and my bad times but nothing can compare with what I had with Akari. I still remember her words,'I finally understand! I understand how low you are! You don't search for love, you search for pleasure! I am leaving... Oh and something more, Ayato. You will never find happiness like that... You will never be happy and wanted or not, you will never feel completed!', those sentences had been haunting me for all this time, "How right you were..." I whispered to her like she could hear me, 'But I still date Yui for her blood' I thought.

It was afternoon and I was reading a magazine, more like leafed through it, when I stopped in a page. It was her! I would never guess, my Akari in a magazine!

Akari's POV

"And done! Good job Akari!" the photographer said as he clapped his hands and repeatably said the word "Excellent!". One of my helpers gave me a towel when the music stopped. I thanked her and left the room as I headed for my dressing room. Four figures appeared behind me "So? How was your day S-neko-chan?" I heard ones voice "Tiring, oh God, Kou, why didn't you told me about the songs? My manager had been asking me over and over again for the lyrics! You can't just put everywhere the word neko when you can't find something else!" I said and frowned " I tried to tell you but you didn't listen! You just kept kissing your prince!" he pouted, "It's okay, I forgive you" I said "Hey, it's not my fault and I didn't apologies-""Shhh...sh... Kou, it's okay... We still love you.." I said and took my finger off his lips "Anyway, sow we have to go back before your woolfy boyfriend get mad!" Yuma said in his usual rude voice "Ahhh fine! I am going to change, Yuma I am talking to you, if you try to peek I will kill you! Got it?" I asked him and entered the room, hearing Yuma say how scary I can be sometimes. I started to undress myself, as I felt hands wrap around my waist "It took you so long Xavier..." I said without looking at him, big mistake. He pushed me against the wall "So now you are with Mukamis huh? And who is Xavier?" I heard him say, 'one minute I know that voice!It is-' "Ayato!" I said angrily "Why so surprised? You are my girlfriend-""Correction, I WAS your girlfriend! Now I am with Xavier! The love of my life!" I said continuing with my angry tone, I started laughing "What did you expect Ayato? To wait all my life for you?" I asked, he growled "I want to know who is that bastard, Xavier, right now!" he yelled, a voice behind me heard "Well... I am Xavier" he said as a black haired men came out of the shadow "Do you have any problem with that Ayato?" Xavier asked "How do you know my name?" "I am half demon, I know everything about you!" he said as Ayato stared in awe "And I was here the whole time... So..." he continued "Look dude if you love Akari you have to respect her, I didn't saw that and instead the only think that showed in your eyes was lust" Xavier stated "Look Ayato, I am not come back to you like it or not, the story is overed! Go back to Yui, I don't love you anymore!" I yelled. I saw a tear rolling on his cheek "At least forgive me, for everything I have done to you" he said "I am sorry Ayato... I had forgive you many times when we were on relationship. But this one... I won't cause Ayato... To me, you are NOT the best, anymore!" I said and hugged Xavier.

Now... A question... Would you like to make a book with Diabolik lovers one-shots? I mean... This book is supposed to have scenarios but would you like a book with them where you could request any diabolik lover you want?
