Y/n's POV

It was all darkness for a while, then a slowly opened my eyes. I looked around to see I was back in my room. I blinked.

"How did I....get here?" I said quietly to myself. I sat up and looked around. I spotted a note on my drawer. I picked it up and read it:

Dear Y/n,

I feel I must apologize dearly to you. What I did last night, rather, what I've been doing for a while......has been wrong to you. I didn't realize how much pain, how much fear, I've caused you until last night. I feel terrible, so I sincerely say I'm sorry. As to this day, or whenever you wake up, that you will no longer be my servant, and I'm no longer your Master. If you wish to, you may even leave this very house and go somewhere else. I shall be in the garden for a while, thinking things over. If you wish to seek me, I most likely will be there.

Laito

My eyes widened. He....feels bad? And I'm free? I started to recall last night's events. I remember the last time he bit me....but it didn't hurt. Before I could ask though I fainted. I held the note tightly in my hands. I have to find him. I jumped out of bed, got myself ready for the day, then rushed out to the garden. On my way there, I bumped into Subaru.

"Yipe, sorry." I said.

"Where are you heading to?" Subaru asked.

"To find Laito. Is he still in the garden?" I asked.

"Yes he is, but something is wrong with him. He seems to have a hard time breathing." Subaru said. My eyes widened and I quickly continued to the garden.

Laito's POV

I looked up at the sun, smelling the beautiful roses that surrounded me. Just nearby was a tall tree, providing me with excellent shade. Despite the beautiful scenery, I was at unease. I couldn't stop thinking about Y/n. What I did to her.....was unacceptable. I felt that aching pain in my throat, and that dry feeling on my tongue once again. I hissed a little and placed a hand on my neck, taking deep breaths in and out. This started happening just a few hours after Y/n went to bed. I still have to figure out what causes it.

"Laito!" called a voice. My eyes widened and I looked over to see Y/n running over to me, a worried expression on her face. I looked up at her and smiled.

"Ah, Y/n-chan. I didn't think you'd want to see me." I said. Y/n sat next to me.

"Laito, I heard you weren't feeling well, are you okay?" she asked. I gave my hand a small wave.

"Don't worry Y/n-chan, its nothing really." I said with a smile. Y/n gave me a sympathetic look.

"Laito, about last night.......why were you so kind last night? And what was with that note?" she asked. I frowned and looked away.

"Its as simply as I said in the note. No more, no less." I replied. I covered my eyes with my hat.

"You should go somewhere else, you'd be safer there and-" I was interrupted with lips on mine. I looked to see she was kissing me. I didn't pull away, but I didn't kiss back either. Soon Y/n pulled away and smiled at me.

"I'm not going anywhere, Laito-kun." she said. I looked at her surprised, but then smiled. Then I felt that pain in my throat again. Ii hissed and placed a hand on my throat.

"Laito!" Y/n said concerned.

"Its..nothing....don't worry." I said, but my voice was strained. Y/n thought for a moment, then her eyes widened.

"Hold on, I want to test something." she said. She quickly went over and picked a pink rose. Then she came over to me and pricked her thumb on a thorn, drawing barely any blood. My eyes widened and glowed red. I turned my head away, realizing what was wrong......I was in a bloodlust.

"Laito...." Y/n said.

"Stay away!" I ordered. 

"You need blood." Y/n said. I breathed hard, smelling the scent of her mood from here. My eyes widened when she turned my head to face her. She had a sympathetic look on her face.

"Its alright." she said. She pushed her hair to the side and tilted her neck. I stared at her neck hungrily. Her smooth skin just waiting to be bitten into.

"I-I can't....." I said.

"Its alright Latio, please I don't want you to be hurt or sick.......especially since I love you." Y/n said. I froze. She....loves me? I took a deep breath.

"As long as your sure." I said. Y/n nodded. I first gave her neck a gentle lick, causing her to moan slightly. Then I opened my mouth and bit into her as gently as I could. She winced a little but soon relaxed. I sucked up her wonderful blood, the blood that I so crave. So I was tranced in my bloodlust and kept on sucking. I didn't realize I was biting harder and harder as I sucked. Y/n's grip on my shoulders tighten, and she began to whimper in pain.

My eyes widened and I pulled away, a bit of her blood dripping from my mouth. She had teary eyes.

"G-Gomen, I didn't mean to...." I stuttered. Y/n shook her head and smiled.

"I don't mind as long as its you." she said happily. I looked at her unsure.

"Are you sure my dear?" I asked. Y/n nodded. I smiled back.

"Did you get enough?" Y/n asked. I nodded and wiped my mouth.

"I'll try not to do that often." I replied.

"But if you need it, come to me. Okay?" Y/n said. I smiled bigger.

"Deal." I said. I pulled her close and we sealed our love in a passionate kiss.
