Here is a Subaru x Reader One Shot that I had done a while back ^^ I currently have writers block on this (Great, right? -.-) and I think I may start including one shots in this story as well. But for the time being, this is for all of you Subaru lovers! I hope you guys like it!

A loud bang was heard, causing your eyes to shoot open and you immediately sit up in bed. You looked out the window and it was still dark out. 'Who is making so much noise this early?!' You thought, still not used to thinking it was early so late in the night.

Right then, another loud bang was heard. Knowing you wouldn't be able to go back to sleep, you put on your slippers and make your way out of the bedroom, walking down the long dark hallway.

As you followed the loud noises, you realized it was coming from Subaru's room. 'Poor Subaru' you thought. You knew he goes through a lot of tough times and he lets his anger out through violence. 'Maybe I can cheer him up?' Taking a deep breath and saying a little prayer, hoping he doesn't kill you, you knock on his bedroom door. A growl was heard on the other side and you gulped, knowing you were in for it.

"Go away!" You heard him yell. Taking a deep breath, you answer back.

"I'm not going away unless I can cheer you up!" You sounded surprisingly brave, though you were terrified. Realizing it was you instead of his brothers, he opened the door. His soft white hair was a mess, one of his sleeves were torn and his eyes were red from anger. You looked behind him and noticed that his bedroom was also a mess. He had almost everything torn apart and thrown everywhere.

"W-what happened?" You asked, worried. He scoffed.

"Nothing. Now, go away." He tried slamming the door shut again but you put your foot in the way before he could.

"Ow..." you said, tears coming to your eyes. You didn't think it would hurt THAT much.

"Tch. You're not going to give up, are you?" He rolled his eyes at you. You simply shake your head.

"Why?! I'm a blood sucking monster! I'm filthy! Why would you even care about a monster like me?!" he yelled, his voice booming down the hall. At this point, you couldn't hold back what you say, and so you argued back.

"Everything and everyone has feelings, Subaru! Though you can look scary on the outside, you're good on the inside! I've seen the good in you! You're not a monster!" You continued to yell as you took one brave step closer. "...not to me. Since I've been at this mansion, you've meant a lot to me!" You then opened the door wider. Subaru stood there, shocked, as tears filled his eyes. You became worried.

"Um, Subaru...?" Did you do something wrong?

All of a sudden, your breath was knocked out of you by a hug from Subaru. Your eyes widened and you froze.

"Thank you..." he said quietly. You softly wrapped your arms around him.

"You're not a monster. So, please smile" you said softly. Subaru looked at you and smiled slightly with tears still in his eyes.

"I love you, (Y/N)" he said, blushing a deep red. You smile and kiss his forehead lightly.

"I love you too, Subaru"
