"Hurry up in there!" You heard Ayato yell from the other side of your bedroom door. Rolling your eyes, you quickly grab the clothes picked out for the day and got dressed. It was a Saturday, meaning there was no school, and yet they're rushing you out. You sighed, oh well.

As soon as you had gotten dressed, a scratching noise was heard at your door. Irritated, you stomp over to the door and throw it open.

"I'M DONE, JEEZ!" you yelled but when you looked out, no one was there. Little did you know though, a little orange kitten looked up at you with sapphire eyes, wanting your attention. Letting out a groan of frustration, you walk out of the room and close the door, locking it.

As you walked down the dark hallways of the mansion on your way to the kitchen, you couldn't help but feel as though you were being followed. For several moments, you couldn't shake off the feeling so you stopped and looked around. Suddenly, you felt a fuzzy being rubbing against your ankles and sitting down on your feet. Looking down, you seen the little kitten, nearly asleep on your feet. You pick them up cautiously.

"Aw, what are you doing here of all places, little buddy?" You asked it, softly rubbing behind its ear. It simply yawned and looked satisfied. A thought suddenly came through your mind...how in the world did it get past the brothers? With a brow raised in confusion, you decided to show Reiji the kitten, in case he knew about the kitten getting in the mansion.

"I'll take you to Reiji and we'll figure out how you got in~" you said, poking the kitten's nose. Suddenly, its eyes widen and it squirms as soon as you said 'Reiji.'

"Jeez, you're just like Shuu" you said, chuckling lightly as you walked towards Reiji's room.

You approached his room and you lightly knocked on the door.

"Come in" you heard the vampire say in a smooth tone. You kept the kitten close to you as you stepped in, seeing Reiji reading a book silently to himself. Hearing your footsteps, he looked up and his eyes locked onto the furry thing in your arms.

"What is that vermin doing in here?" He asked, irritation hinting his tone. You flinched lightly and you cleared your throat.

"Well, you see, that's what I came to ask you abo-"

"So it worked, huh?" He interrupted, getting up and walking closer to examine the kitten. The closer Reiji got, the more upset the cat got. Suddenly it started to swing at Reiji with its paws and growl at him until it got tired and fell asleep in your arms, which didn't take long.

"W-what do you mean?" You asked.

"You mean you can't tell? That cat that you're holding is Shuu" he said, matter-of-factly. Your eyes widen as you were taken aback.

"E-Eh?! How?!" You looked down at the sleeping kitten in your arms. This couldn't be him..but then again, it seemed tired constantly, hated Reiji for some reason, and it was very strange for it to have such deep blue eyes.

"I was simply testing out my new invention...a potion that would turn any living being into a cat. It should only last twenty-four hours" he said, ever so calmly. You nodded, quite confused as to why Reiji would invent such a thing but decided to not push any further about it. Readjusting Shuu, you put his head on your shoulder as you walked to your room once more.

"Sleep well, Shuu" you whispered as you put him on your bed, watching as he wrapped his long fuzzy tail around himself in his sleep. After kissing his little head, you made sure he had a bowl of water in the room and decided to come later to feed him. Before leaving the room, you looked at him and shook your head with a smile.

"My lazy, lazy neko~"

Bonus:

"Ugh, I'm so tired...dealing with those idiots all day wears ya out" you said to yourself, stretching out slightly as you made it to your room. As soon as you opened the door, a person way taller than you had ran into you. Looking up, you seen their sapphire eyes, widened and wild.

"Shuu? It's been twenty four hours already?" You asked. All of sudden, he looked pissed off.

"I'm going to kill him" Shuu said, in a monotonous voice. Your eyes widened as you noticed he began to walk in the direction of Reiji's room.

"Oh, no you don't!" You yelled and grabbed onto his shirt and pulled him back.

"It would have took too much of an effort anyway" he said with a sigh. You let go of his shirt, rolling your eyes. As you did, you noticed he was wearing one of your oversized t-shirts and your baggy jogging pants. A blush immediately rose to your cheeks. As if reading your thoughts, Shuu began to speak.

"I had nothing to wear so I borrowed yours" he said nonchalantly.

"It's fine" you said awkwardly. Suddenly, you were given a hug. A bear hug at that.

"Thank you...for taking care of me" you heard Shuu say quietly. You chuckled and hugged him back.

"No problem, my lazy kitten~"

So finally an update! I swear I'm not dead! Unfortunately, I will not be making a part two for 'Lies' because I cannot think of any ideas for it. But if I ever do, then I will. Hopefully this will do for now. Until next time, sweeties~!
