♡: How You Meet The Sakamakis!
(A/N): Okay, so! For those that didn't see my latest update, I am going back and rewriting this chaos for the better. The plot isn't gonna change much but I just think this entire book is cringe and I just wanna improve it! :3 So I hope it's much better now than it was when I wrote it before lmao. As for those who are just now reading it...well, I'm thankful you didn't have to witness the real cringe from before LMAO
♡ Shuu ♡
You were skipping class in the music room, attempting to sleep on the lounging couch. You were finally at peace, after having to deal with the busy, bustling school hours. The silence was rather soothing.
Just as you were close to drifting off to sleep, you heard the door creak open and soft footsteps walk in. You had no interest in getting up so you kept your eyes closed, pretending to be asleep. As the footsteps approached you, a scoff was heard.
"Oi. This is my couch. Sleep elsewhere." A male voice spoke up. You opened one eye to see a guy in your class, Shuu Sakamaki, towering over you. You scoffed back at him and rolled over so your back was facing him.
"I don't see your name on it." You replied to him. You could practically feel his annoyed glare bore into your back. It made you feel anxious so you groaned and sat up as you rolled your eyes at him. Your hair was an absolute mess and your uniform was disheveled.
"Fine. You win." You say as you stretched before standing up from your place on the couch. "But next time, I'm getting sleep whether you like it or not."
"I don't think we've ever met before." He states as he lies down.
'We're literally in the same class. What the hell?!' You fumed in your head.
"I'm (Y/N)." You said before you stomped out of the room.
"I like her." Shuu says quietly to himself before falling asleep.
♡ Reiji ♡
Nervousness took over your entire being as you held the shredded love letter in your hands. In an attempt to help your friend get with a girl she really liked, you volunteered to take the letter she wrote to her crush. Unfortunately, you came back with devastating news that she didn't feel the same way for your friend and now she was blaming you. She yelled at you, causing a whole scene in front of everyone in the hallway. You weren't one for attention and feeling all of those eyes on you made your eyes tear up. You threw the shredded pieces of paper at your so-called "friend" and ran in the opposite direction to get away from peering eyes.
Tears clouded your vision so you couldn't really see ahead of you and you accidentally bumped into someone, making you land on your bum. Looking up, you noticed Reiji Sakamaki was looking back down at with a brow raised in utter aggrivation.
"A-Ah! I'm so sorry!" You hop up quickly and apologized, nervous at how he may react. You noticed he was very stern from time to time. He pushed his glasses farther onto the bridge of his nose and examined you for a brief moment. With a sigh, he spoke.
"I suppose it is alright. You seem to have manners unlike most of this school." You sighed in relief and smiled slightly. Thank goodness. You thought you were dead meat.
"I'm (Y/N)!" You said, putting your hand out.
"I know who you are. We are in the same class." Embarrassment struck you and you felt your face warm up. He didn't continue any further on the matter, thankfully.
"If you don't get to the classroom now, you're going to be late. Come on." He stated, gesturing you to follow him. You happily walked to class with him, successfully making small talk along the way. Which blossomed into a surprisingly great friendship.
♡ Ayato ♡
Food prep was always your favorite class of the day. I mean, who doesn't like food? Today's lesson was takoyaki. You were determined to make the best takoyaki in the class so you got your hair out of your face, prepared the ingredients, and got to work.
As you concentrated on cooking, you didn't realize the number one fan of takoyaki creeping up behind you to look over your shoulder at the treat you were making before him.
"You're definitely gonna let me eat that when it's done, right?" You flinched at hearing his voice so close to your ear and squeaked a bit. You noticed who it was and immediately sighed.
"Why aren't you making your own like you're supposed to?" You asked through gritted teeth. He leaned on the counter next to you.
"Eh, too much work. Besides, Yours Truly is hungry." You slightly cringed at him referring to himself with that nickname but continued to finish up cooking. You set the takoyaki onto a plate and put it on the counter. You took notice that Ayato was about to drool on the plate so you shoved him away from it a bit before he could. Smirking, you picked up a piece and began to eat it slowly. Man, you're so evil.
"Yummy!" You said as you finished eating it. You picked up another only to have Ayato take your hands and guide the takoyaki to his mouth.
"Mmm! This is good!" He said with a shit eating grin.
"Make your own damn food, you heathen!"
And so the two of you fought over the takoyaki for the rest of class.
♡ Laito ♡
As soon as you stepped through the doors of the school, the bell rang. Shit! You were late again. It was the third time this week and you knew damn well you were gonna get detention for it.
You mentally beat yourself up and whispered profanities at yourself for not waking up on time as you approached your locker. As you put in the combonation, you heard a chuckle behind you. It was no ordinary chuckle. You knew exactly who it was before you turned around. As expected, Laito Sakamaki stood before you and tipped his fedora at you. Just your luck, huh.
"Such foul language for such an innocent looking cutie." He cooed. You rolled your eyes and turned back to your locker to grab your things but when you slammed your locker door shut and turned back around, he was still there.
"What the hell do you want?" There was an obvious answer to that.
"You, of course." He chuckles. Weirdly enough, you felt your cheeks glow red from his statement and pushed past him. You gotta give him credit, he can be smooth...uh, sometimes.
"Aw, Bitch-chan is so adorable when she blushes!" He teases as he catches up to you.
"Shut up! Don't you have a class to go to?!" His mossy green eyes light up in amusement.
"We have class together!"
Yep, just your luck. You facepalm. For the rest of the day, he followed you around like a lost puppy but you started to get used to it. Maybe you could even say you started to like it.
♡ Kanato ♡
Your (favorite stuffed animal) was your best friend and has been for years. They were there for you when no one else was. When you were going through a hard time, they were there to listen. No one seemed to understand that, and so the other students bullied you. Called you childish, stupid, etc..
"I wish they would understand but they never will. All I have is you..." You squeezed (stuffed animal name) and began to gently cry and started to wonder if they really were the only one you could count on.
Eventually someone approached you but you were too busy crying and too caught up in your thoughts to notice until they gently spoke up.
"Are you okay?" A soft male voice asked. You quickly rubbed your eyes to wipe the tears away and looked up to see Kanato Sakamaki looking at you with genuine concern as he held his teddy bear closely to him. You knew Kanato was similar to you when it came to his teddy bear but nobody bothered to bully him about it cause he could be quite terrifying when angered. You nod to answer him but he narrowed his violet eyes at you.
"Don't lie to me. I seen what they did to you and it was wrong!" Anger filled his eyes and it made you flinch even though you knew the anger wasn't towards you. But that anger seemed to go away as he sat next to you.
"This is Teddy." He held Teddy up a little bit as he introduced him. Your frown immediately turned into a bright smile as you held (S/A/N) to introduce them as well. The two of you became great friends after that.
♡ Subaru ♡
Eating in the cafeteria was way too noisy for you. It annoyed you each and every day to hear all the chatter and chaos that filled the room. You got the idea to take your lunch to the rooftop and eat, thinking you would be the only one there. Peace and quiet for once would be nice.
The moonlight was just bright enough for you to see where you were going and just as you found a spot, someone else had approached it as well. You both froze and looked at each other. Just from the bleach white hair, you knew it was Subaru Sakamaki. You remember him always being in the back of the class but you never knew anything about him because he was so quiet.
"This is my spot." He said, a bit annoyed. You raised a brow.
"But I found it first." You snapped back, just as annoyed. He sighed and sat down in the spot, patting the spot next to him.
"Whatever. Just share it with me. Arguing over it is childish." He said. You simply nod and sit next to him.
'At least there is one person at this school that isn't a total asshole.' You thought to yourself.
"Um, I'm (Y/N)." You say quietly. You were pretty sure he knew who you were since you were in the same class but you introduced yourself anyway for the sake of conversation.
"Subaru Sakamaki." He replied with a gentle smile that he knew you couldn't see. During the entire lunch period, the two of you got along and began to grow quite fond of each other.
