Yui's POV
Mm.. huh? I woke up at the door way of the Sakamaki Mansion, why am I here? Im supposed to be in my room...

??? - Yui, give me blood.

Yui - Ayato... kun?

Ayato - Why are you hesitating? You have amnesia? You let me bite you everyday.

Yui - Ayato - kun, gome but... Im not in the mood.

Ayato - When did I ask for your opinion? C'mere.

Ayato grabs my arm, and gets closer. He gets my neck, and puts my hair on my left shoulder.

Ayato - Dont hesitate.

Yui - Ayato! let go--!

I push his face and stepped away, I take 2 steps back.

Yui - Ayato - kun. Sorry..

Ayato - Yui... what's gotten into you..?

I walk away, going inside the mansion. I went to my room, I close my eyes as I went in. I sighed and lied down on my bed. Wait, I open my eyes. What's under me? Its cold, I heard a moan. I jump out the bed, and look.

Yui - Subaru - kun?

Subaru - Hn... urusai. Mm...

Subaru wakes up, and sits. He rubs his hair, and kind of looks disappointed.

Yui - Subaru - kun, what are you doing here..?

Subaru - I.. broke my bed.

Yui - Huh? Then, you stay there. I can sleep on the couch.

Subaru - On the couch...? No, sleep here. With me.

Yui - But--

Subaru - don't worry. It won't bite.

Subaru gets my hand, and pulls me to my bed. He hugs me, and pats my head. I look at Subaru, he's blushing.

Yui - Subaru... - kun?

Subaru - Tch. Just shut up, and sleep.

Yui - Okay...

I put my arms around him too, and close my eyes. I smiled while my eyes were closed, and felt something on my forehead. I opened my eyes, and saw Subaru kissing my forehead. He changed...? Or is it just me...? I closed my eyes once again, and fell asleep.

Yui - Hn.. Subaru.. kun?

Subaru - You awake?

Yui - What.. happened?

Subaru - You fell asleep.

Yui - how long?

Subaru - About 2 - 3 hours.

Yui - Ah.. eh?!! I need to--

When I was about to stand, Subaru holds my arm and pulls me to a hug. He said,

Subaru - Dont leave...

Yui - Su - Subaru - kun, I - I need to go!!

Subaru - No.

Subaru hugged me tighter. He looks me in the eye, and touches my lips. He comes near my neck, and brushes my hair to the side. He bites me and drinks my blood... ugh.. I feel... weak.

Yui - Suba.. ru.. - kun.. Sto - stop..

While Subaru was drinking my blood, I heard a knock on the door. I heard, "Yui, your late for lessons. Are you okay?" Reiji... - kun..?

Yui - Rei.. ji...

Subaru - Yui... keep me in mind.

Yui - But..

The door opened, Reiji looked mad. He walks to us and pulls me out of Subaru's hug. He puts his left arm around my back, and said,

Reiji - Yui, your late.

Yui - Sorry...

Subaru - Bastard Reiji. Tch, Im out of here.

Subaru left, and slammed the door close. Reiji looked at me, he said,

Reiji - Yui, are you okay?

Yui - Yes...

Reiji - Tch, you should be more careful around Subaru.

Yui - Hai...

Reiji - Well, we're late. We should go.

Reiji and I went to the laboratory together, I looked down while walking. I feel... dizzy.

Reiji - Are you okay, Yui?

Yui - Huh?

Reiji - You look pail.

Yui - Im fine.. sorry for making you worry.

Reiji - Dont worry about that, its my job to take care of you anyway.

Yui - What do you mean?

Reiji - Your father's request.

Yui - Oh.. right.

Soon, we arrived at the laboratory, and I went to the couch and sit down. Reiji leaned on the table and looked down he checked his watch, he said,

Reiji - Tch, we're really out of time.

Yui - Sorry.. I fell asleep.

Reiji - Well, we cant change that. Im gonna have to teach you a lesson.

Yui - What?

Reiji - Come here.

Yui - O - okay...

I walked to Reiji and asked why he called for me. He pulled me and hugged me. He said,

Reiji - Yui, never put your guard down, you live in the Sakamaki Mansion, with the Sakamaki Brothers, and we're all vampires. Anyone can attack you any moment. Like this.

He bit my neck, and sucked my blood. Then kissed me, leading down to my chest.

Yui - Rei.. ji - kun... st.. stop...

Reiji - This is penalty for being late, three hours late.

Reiji pushed me to the bookshelf and smiled at me while Im in pain. I feel.. weak...so weak... he was being sadistic.

Reiji - 2 minutes have passed, aren't you tired?

Yui - ...

My mind was blank and I couldn't think of anything. What's... this? My heart hurt and I saw a picture of Cordelia. I was scared. I put my hands on my head, then I slide down the bookshelf.

Yui - Make... it stop...!

I can hear laughs.. Cordelia's laugh...

Yui - Co - Cordelia...!

Ugh.. my head... my... head! I saw Cordelia standing in front of me, smiling. She's saying something.. I cant hear it...

"I can make you stronger."

Stronger..? She walked to me and holds my kneck.

"My, you have so many bites. Doesn't it hurt? Yui~, I can make you a vampire. So every time someone bites you, you wont feel pain, but pleasure."

She laughed and looked straight to my eyes.

"So, do you want to be a vampire? A vampire stronger than any vampire ever lived, stronger than me."

Reiji - Yui, are you okay?!

I couldn't hear anything but Cordelia's voice. I was too focused on her.

Yui - Yes...

I was not sure of who I was talking to, Reiji or Cordelia. Cordelia smiles,

"Alright, are you sure? One step forward and never taking a step back?"

Yui - Yes...!

"Alright..! *giggles* Good choice."

She smiled once again and pinches my kneck, then blood flows down my body. She disappeared and my eye lids felt heavy, I closes my eyes and never opened them again.

|The next 8 days|

I opened my eyes and found myself in my room. It was dark, so its nighttime? I rubbed my eyes and sit up. I looked around and saw Reiji sitting on the chair next to my bed.

Yui - Reiji...?

How did I get here? How long was I asleep? Am I a vampire? Now that I feel a little stronger, I guess I am. I touched my neck and couldn't feel any bit marks on it. Did it heal? I stand up and walk to the mirror, I checked it. There was no bite marks at all. I saw Cordelia behind me, seeing her in the mirror, I turned around quickly. She's was leaning on the wall while smiling.

Cordelia - So, Yui. How do you feel without those bite marks? Does it feel good? In case your wondering, your a vampire now.

Yui - How did I get here?

Cordelia - A dumb question, obviously someone carried you here. Are'nt you hungry? Thirsty for blood?

Yui - Huh?

Cordelia - Yui, your a vampire now. Vampires need blood in order to live.

Yui - Oh.. right.

Cordelia - Well, that's all for now. Bye.

She smiled and disappeared.

??? - Yui?

I looked at Reiji, he's awake now. He stands up and walks close to me.

Reiji - You passed out, how do you feel?

Yui - Im fine. How long.. was I asleep?

Reiji - 8 days. *checks wristwatch* its 2:00 AM. That makes it 9 days.

Yui - 9 days?

Reiji - Go back to sleep and we'll talk tomorrow. I'll see you.

Reiji leaves me and I sit on my bed. I looked out the window, a full moon. I brushed my hair with my fingers, thinking about what I did. I actually agreee to being a vampire... I walked to the bookshelf and get a book. I walked to my desk and turn on the lamp. I turned the book open and read. I was about to turn the page and my finger was cut.

Yui - Paper cut?

I sniffed, this is the smell of my blood? The fragrance.. it smells good. I licked the blood dripping down my finger, I heard the door open.

??? - Yui?

I turned around and saw Ayato. He ran to me and hugged me tightly.

Ayato - Reiji said you woke up, Im glad your okay...

Yui - Ayato - kun? Obviously you were attracted by the scent of my blood. Right?

Ayato - ...! How did you?

Yui - You just want blood, dont you?

Ayato - What are you saying?

He steps back and kneeled down, I was sitting so he could see my face properly.

Yui - You dont need to hide it.

I show him my finger which is bleeding, he was looking at it. Seconds later, the blood dripping down goes up back to the cut and the skin that was opened closed. Ayato's eyes widen,

Ayato - What..?

Yui - It heals?

I looked at my finger, there was no trace of blood. I looked at Ayato, he was suprised.

Yui - Ayato - kun?

Ayato - How.. did you heal?

Yui - Huh?

Ayato - Only vampires can heal, how did it heal?!

Yui - I turned into a vampire.

Ayato - So.. that was why you were out for 8 days? Who turned you?!

Yui - I was turned into a vampire by --!

Cordelia appeared behind and shaked her head, she's saying no. Which means I cant say it. I nodded, she smiled and disappeared again. I just acted so Ayato wont know,

Yui - *touches head* My head... I.. dont remember.

Ayato - You dont? So your a vampire now?

Yui - Yes?

Ayato - But how did you heal so fast? Only certain vampires get to heal so fast...

Yui - It was just a paper cut, it just like a scratch.

Ayato - Yeah, but normal vampires, even a normal scratch takes 5 minutes to heal. You just took seconds!

Yui - So?

Ayato - Are you possibly.. a queen?

Yui - What...?

Ayato - No that's impossible. But it does say that Royal Vampires have a delicious taste of blood, also it doesn't run out of blood. Warm as a human being, but doesn't have a pulse.

Ayato grabbed my hand and checked my pulse, his eyes widened.

Ayato - Your warm, but you dont have a pulse. How could this happen? Yui, go to sleep. Let's talk tomorrow.

Ayato leaves and closes the door. Queen? What was that about? I put the book back and turn off the lamp. I went to my bed and lie down, soon, I fell asleep.

|Skip Time, 9:00 AM|

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I looked at the clock, 9:13 AM. I went to the closet and changed clothes, I went out my room and went to the living room. Shu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Raito and Subaru was there sitting. Reiji was standing up while reading a book, he saw me and said,

Reiji - Your 15 minutes late.

Yui - Im sorry.

Shu - ... I can sense... a presence.

Reiji - What presence?

Shu - A Vampire Queen. I can sense a presence of a Vampire Queen.

Ayato - Eh?

Ayato looked at me, he was so confused. Reiji didn't understand Shu like he was joking.

Reiji - Stop this nonsense, Shu.

Shu - Heh? Im not joking, Im serious.

I walked to my seat and sit down, Vampire Queen...?

Kanato - Ohayo, Yui - san. *smiles*

Yui - Ohayo, Kanato - kun.

Subaru was listening to Reiji, Ayato and Shu, I was also listening.

Reiji - But why? There's no Queen here. If there was, I would sense it too.

Shu - Awakening. The Queen is still on the first step.

Ayato - Yui...

Reiji - Huh? Ayato, did you say something?

Ayato - A - ah, nothing..

I stand up and walk to Reiji, Shu and Ayato.

Yui - Ano... what is the Vampire Queen anyway?

Reiji - The Vampire Queen? Why do you ask?

Ayato - Why dont we just answer her question?

Shu - How bothersome...

Reiji - The Vampire Queen, in each generation in every century changes, the more Vampires it attracts, the more powerful she gets... thats all I know, I dont have too much knowledge about it.

Ayato - The Vampire Queen has a delicious taste of blood, you know that. Also, its temperature is warm, but doesn't have a pulse.

Ayato's hiding the fact that Im a vampire, why?

Shu - Read books in the library, Im sure there's books about that needless queen.

Needless Queen?

Yui - Thank you for answering, excuse me.

I went upstairs to the library and scanned some book. I checked every book shelf and only found 8 books in 35 bookshelfs. I carry the 8 heavy books to the table and read one by one. I picked one book and opened it, I started reading "The steps of the Vampire Queen" oh, it was made for the past year.

"Chapter 1, Awakening of the Vampire Queen
The Awakening of a Vampire Queen takes 6 - 10 days of slumber. Once it wakes up from her slumber, it will gain it's strenght and power. The Awakening queen will have visions of the Vampire that made her a Queen, every queen will be able to talk to the one who made them one. Only them can see and talk to them. Every chosen queen must have a great taste of blood and must have secret pleasures."

That was short, how many chapters does this book have? I checked the last page and says

"Chapter 2,
In the year XXXX, the three queens were Cordelia, Beatrix and Christa. The three Queens had the same king, Cordelia, had 3 sons, Beatrix had 2 and lastly Christa has 1. All of their sons are brothers, step brothers, all of them live in the same household, the Sakamaki Household. Cordelia, had the attracting power, Beatrix had Knowledge and Christa had ???."

Huh? Cordelia, Beatrix, Christa, the mothers of Ayato, Shu and Subaru? Christa's powers isnt written. I wonder why?

"All of the Queens' have different powers."

I continued reading and finished 4 books in 6 hours.

Yui - Huh?

I suddenly felt hungry. Is this.. the thirst of blood? I touched my lips and open my mouth. I check if I have fangs, I felt a pointy tooth on both sides and pushed my finger down my right fang. Blood comes out of my thumb and runs down my hand. Blood drops down to the book,

??? - Yui - san?

I heard a voice from the door and I turn around to check. It was Kanato, he said,

Kanato - Why are you sucking your thumb...?

Kanato looked at my hand and seconds later, his eyes widen. He watches the blood dripping down my arm,

Kanato - Why is there blood?

I remove my thumb from my mouth, I looked at my thumb and the hole disappears. Kanato puts Teddie down and walks to me, he said,

Kanato - Why was there blood?

He takes my hand and looked around my hand,

Kanato - There's no injury.

??? - Kanato.

Kanato and I turned to look, it was Ayato and Reiji.

Yui - Reiji? Ayato - kun?

Reiji - Did you find books about the Vampire Queen?

Yui - Yes, I found 8 books.

Kanato - We're you attracted by the scent of Yui - san's blood?

Reiji - No, I came here on purpose. Yui, why are you so interested about it?

Ayato - Reiji, you were with her when she fainted, right?

Reiji - Yes, we were having lessons.

Kanato - You mentioned Cordelia.

Yui - I had a vision of her. That's why I shout her name.

I cant tell them. If I do, Cordelia... Cordelia suddenly appears behind Reiji and Ayato, she walks beside me, next to Kanato. She smiles and whispers to me,

Cordelia - Its good you listened. Yui, your obedient.

I looked at her, I was confused about what she said,

Reiji - What are you looking at?

I look at Reiji nervously,

Yui - Uh.. no, its nothing.

Ayato - Reiji, you know she's a vampire right?

Reiji / Kanato - Huh?

Ayato - Yui's a vampire.

Ayato walks to me and grabs my arm, he pulls me up and I stand up. He opened my mouth and pointed on my fangs,

Ayato - See? She has fangs. And this,

Ayato gets something from his pocket, a knife? He cuts me with the knife, suprising Reiji and Kanato.

Reiji - What are you doing..?!

Ayato shows them my arm which is bleeding, seconds later, the cut closes and the blood goes inside my wound.

Kanato - How?

Ayato - I have no idea.

Reiji - A Vampire? She healed quickly.

Ayato - Because...?

Ayato looked at me, ugh.. this is getting complicated... I looked at Cordelia, she whispers to my ear.

Cordelia - Tell them that you were poisoned.

I gave her the look saying "That would make things more complicated." She looks at Ayato and Reiji. She walks to them and took touched both of their foreheads.

Cordelia - Dont ask too much.

Reiji and Ayato's eyes widen, they touched their forehead.

Ayato - Ouch..

Yui - (What?)

Cordelia - I just did something to make them stop asking you complicated questions.

Yui - (What did you do?)

Cordelia - I showed myself for a second.

Yui - *shakes head* Ayato - kun, Reiji - kun, are you okay?

Ayato - Ye - yeah. My head just hurts.

Cordelia - Liar.

Yui - Reiji - kun, Ayato - kun, why dont you rest?

Ayato - What about you?

Yui - I'll be fi--! U - ugh...

I touch my head and felt pain.

Ayato - Yui?!

Yui - Ayato... kun...

I fell to the ground and fell asleep.
