SHIN'S POV

Nii-san(Big/elder brother) and I were standing outside of Karlheinz castle and he said to the remaining level Es,"You guys know what to do, create a distraction Shin you go with them meanwhile I'll get the girl's heart."

"Roger that Nii-san, what about that Takashi brat?" I said.

Nii-san's eyes turned red and said,"While you're with the Level Es you can take care of her just don't kill her."

"Right." I said as I grinned and then we made our move.

MEANWHILE...

KURA'S POV

It was the night that the lunar eclipse was going to end and Karl-sama was holding a ball for everyone, Ayame and I were also invited even if some of the other clans disliked having us around Ayame and I did our best not to react to their talk. Ayame was still a bit nervous but I said,"Stop worrying about those clans ignore their talk about us."

"I know that but being around important people like them kinda makes me nervous." Ayame said as she looked around the room.

I face palmed and said,"I wonder about you sometimes."

Just then Laito came over and said,"Why are you two pretty ladies standing here in the background, don't you want to have a dance?"

"Forget it pervert." I said as he saw my dark aura.

Laito backed away and then Akira came over and said,"Oh brother, is he annoying you again?"

"What the heck do you think?" I said.

Akira looked a bit concerned and said,"Don't even think that tonight is going pass easily, I have a feeling that the founders are going to attack us soon."

"Yeah I've been getting an uneasy feeling as well, where's Falis?" I said as I looked around the room.

"She's keeping an eye on Christa I thought it was best that she didn't come here since Subaru is here and all." Akira said.

I said,"Good point besides I don't think Subaru would've liked seeing his mother here anyway she'll just freak out if she saw him."

Ayame said,"That's true, I still can't believe his own mother would think that he's ugly but I think differently."

I glared at Ayame and I said,"Watch it you! That's my boyfriend you're talking about."

"Heheh...Sorry Kura.." Ayame said as she backed away.

Just then Ruki and Suabru came over and Ruki said,"Why are you standing here? I know you're a bodyguard and all but that doesn't mean you can sit out on the fun."

"Ruki." Akira said as she let Ruki lead her to the dance floor.

I giggled and then Subaru said,"Same goes for you, stop worrying about the founders Akira has got some of her familiars on guard in case if they see anything."

"I know but still I can't help but worry you know? I know the lunar eclipse is almost over but we're not out of the woods yet so you can't be too careful." I said to Subaru.

Suabru took my hand and said,"But that doesn't mean you can't have fun, come on."

Subaru led me to the dance floor and we were swaying gently to the music as we danced. Subaru said,"I'm surprised that you know how to dance, since you were from a rich family."

He whispered in my ear and I then said,"I've learned how to dance like this when I was little before I ran away from home."

"Well I'm glad." Subaru said as he leaned closer to my lips but then one of Akira's familiars came rushing in towards her.

It came to a halt and said,"Mistress Akira!! We've got a problem!!"

We all looked as Akira's winged wolf and it said,"There are Level Es and some of Shin's familiars are here as well!!"

"Say what?!" Akira said.

I said to Akira's familiar,"Whereabouts are they attacking?"

"They're attacking somewhere near where Falis and Christa-sama are." It explained.

Ayame came rushing over and I said,"Ayame you and I are going to deal with the level Es Akira you stay here in case any more of them come here."

Akira nodded and then Ayame and I took off running.

AKIRA'S POV

After those two left to deal with the Level Es Ruki said,"Are you sure it was a good idea to let them deal with the enemy? You do realise that there might be a chance that one of the founders could be among them."

"I know but, that snake! GET OUT HERE!!" I shouted as I used my green flames and I flung it at the enemy.

Carla came out of hiding and he floated in the air and then some of the clan members made a run for it. Once everyone left Carla landed on the ground on his feet and said,"You've got some sharp eyes as always dagger of Karlheinz."

"All right you can stop right there I've heard it all before I don't need to hear it again." I said as walked towards him.

I heard Ruki say,"Akira be careful! That guy is strong!"

"I know and so am I." I said as Carla began to walk towards me and then we quicken our pace.

Eventually, we ended up running towards each other. I focused my green flames into my hands while Carla focused his wind into his hands. We then collided our fists with one another until there was an explosion.

KURA'S POV

While Ayame, Falis and I were defeating the Level Es we suddenly felt a tremor. We all stopped fighting and Ayame said,"Whoa, what was that? An earthquake?"

"Something tells me that you're wrong Ayame." I said as I looked around.

The level E that I was fighting said,"Heheh..its master Carla, he must be fighting the dagger of Karlheinz as we speak."

Falis looked shocked and said,"Crap! This is a diversion to keep us busy while Carla and Shin get Yui's heart!"

"You just caught on now, Fast healer Falis." A familiar voice said.

Shin walked through the Level Es and he grinned at us. I said,"Shin!"

"Hello to you as well, Takashi, I see you're still resisting to come back to your home, I guess I'll just have to take you back by force if I have to." Shin said as he continued to smirk.

I smirked at him and said,"I hate to break it to you but I've already been to that house and it seems my father is not as heartless as you thought he was."

Shin's eyes widen and said,"Tch! Well that's weird, he specifically said to bring you home immediately."

"Lair! My old man is no longer heartless as I thought he was he's finally moved on and he has got a new wife and a new daughter as well did you and you're brother even notice or was everything you and Carla said was all a lie? because from where I'm standing I can tell you two are desperate to get Yui's heart and you and your brother seem desperate to capture me as well, could it be that you two know about my ancestor, Kagome Takashi?" I said and then Shin took a step back in shock like I just hit the bulls eye.

Falis was surprised at my suspicions and so was Ayame. Shin frowned and said,"How did you know?"

"Akira is not the only one who has a sharp mind you know, how about we stop chatting and we start our fight." I said as I stood at a fighting stance.

Shin placed his hand on his sword's hilt and then I said to Ayame and Falis,"I'll deal with Shin think you two can handle things from here?"

Ayame turned to me and said,"Don't worry about us you just concentrate on your fight."

I nodded my head and I sheathed my sword and used my flash-step to grabbed Shin by he collar and I said,"Come on you piece of crap! You and I are taking this little fight somewhere else, Good luck Ayame! Falis!"

I shouted as I used my flash step while keeping a tight grip on Shin's collar as we headed somewhere else. Shin shouted,"Let go of me!! This no way to treat a first blood!!"

I frowned and I said,"Tell someone, WHO CARES?!"

I shouted as I flung Shin straight towards a wall. Shin landed on his back as I threw him at the wall and he glared at me and said,"You witch!! You're going to pay for that!!"

He said as he rolled onto his stomach and then he stood up and he placed his hand on his sword's hilt. I did the same and then we both charged at each other and then our swords clashed with one another. Our fight was just the beginning.
