KURA'S POV

After Valentine's day was over I couldn't stop thinking about that kiss that Subaru gave me just thinking about it still makes my cheeks blush. I was sitting in the living room drawing the sleeping Shuu in my sketching book. I kept on glancing back and forth between him and the drawing to get the right details of his face and his body as well. I was in the middle of shading in the colour of his hair until Shuu said,"Hey, you're very quiet over there."

"That's because I'm trying to concentrate on this drawing, don't move while I'm trying to colour in." I said as I looked at Shu and back at the drawing. He said,"OK no need to be so bossy about it."

"Sorry, when I'm trying to draw someone I always tell them to stay still so I can get the highlights, the colour and the shadows of this person." I said as I was fixated on drawing the portrait of Shu. Shu smirked and said,"I see, well, try not to make me look silly."

"I'm doing my best not to besides I'm almost finished any way." I said to him. Shu then said,"Oh yeah? Can't wait to see it." I thought to myself,"But to be honest it would look a lot better if Shu had his eyes open instead of closed all of the time but, then again this is much better besides by drawing Shuu like this it shows who he really is or something like that anyway."

After a few minutes past I finally finished drawing Shuu. I said to him,"OK, that's it finished." Shu sat up and I showed him the drawing and he said,"Wow, that's very good, I can't believe I'm saying this but you're really talented."

"Thank you, I'm glad you like it, here." I said as I tore the page from the sketching book and I gave it to Shuu. After I gave the drawing to Shuu he said,"So you do this often?"

"Well not all of the time, before I came here I was too busy concentrating on my job as a hunter and if I had some spare time on my hands I just draw like this but when I'm on a job I sometimes bring my sketching book with me in case if I had time." I explained to him. Shu then said,"I see, just like now, huh?"

"Yeah, you didn't mind me drawing you did you?" I asked him. Shu said,"Not at all, you were quiet as a mouse the entire time." I said,"I like it when it's quiet that way I can focus a lot better when I'm drawing." Shu looked back at the drawing and he said,"I see, well thanks again."

Shuu said as he laid back down on the couch and I thought to myself,"Hehe, one minute he's grateful then the next minute he's taking another nap, deadbeat or not he's still the eldest out of the six brothers that's for sure."

I put my sketching book away back in my desk drawers and I got changed out of my uniform and I got changed into my hunter's clothes. I was about to go out until I heard Ayame say,"Hey Kura, wait up I'm coming with you."

I looked at Ayame and said,"All right, but don't bring that Musket with you it's a pain when it gets caught in the bushes." Ayame pouts and said,"All right fine party pooper." Ayaem said as she headed back to her room and then she came back with her pistols in their holsters on each side of her chest.

We were in the forest and we did managed to find some clues that would have led to the founders but like last time they went cold. Ayame said,"Well this stinks, geez no matter how many times we find a trail of wolf prints they always go cold."

"Yeah I know, someone or something is defiantly covering their tracks all right."I said. Ayame then says,"Wait a minute Kura look at this!" I ran over to Ayame and she said,"Look these boot prints, do they look like they belong to one of the founders?"

"No, that boot print looks as if it was from a woman's shoe or something." I said as I ran my fingers over the boot print. Ayame says,"Well whoever she is, she might the one who is covering the tracks."

"My, what do we have here, two little hunters and it's the she-devil duo it seems." A voice said. Ayame and I stood up and I had my hand on my sword's hilt and Ayame drew her pistols and we looked around. I said,"Show yourself!"

Ayame said,"Where are you hiding Coward?! Afraid to face us?!" The voice then said,"I'm not afraid I'm right here." Suddenly there was a green light and once it dimmed there was a woman with blonde hair, blue eyes and she wore a dark blue outfit with a dagger and sword on her side.

She landed on the ground on her feet gently and the Ayame pointed her pistols at the woman and I drew my sword and I stood at a fighting stance. I said,"Who are you?! Are you the one who has been covering their tracks?"

"Calm down, I'm not with Carla and Shin if that's what you two are thinking, in fact I'm actually after them as well." She said with a smirk. Ayame said,"You're no hunter! You're a vampire!" She smiles and says,"Indeed I am, you've got good eyes gunslinger." I said,"I've got some questions for you, who are you and are you the one who covered their tracks?"

"All right I'll tell you, I'm known as the dagger and bodyguard of Karlheinz, my name is Akira." She said. I remembered hearing that name and I said,"Akira?! Wait I've heard of that name before."

"You have Kura?"Ayame asked me. I said,"Yeah, my mentor once told me about Karlheinz's dagger and bodyguard I thought it was nothing more than just a kid's fairy tale."

"Hehe, I'm no kid's story that's for sure I'm actually the real deal." Akira said as she started to walk towards us. Ayame shouted,"Stay right there! If come any closer I'll blow your head off."

Suddenly Akira vanished leaving some green flames behind and then she reappeared in front of us and then she smacked away my sword and Ayame's pistols. Akira said,"Now calm down, I hate it when you point those things at me when I'm not a threat to begin with."

Akira walked past us and then she sat on a stump and said,"Anyway, as to your second question, I didn't cover the founder's tracks I actually did the opposite, you see, I'm also after the founders as well since they escaped from prison."

"You are?"Ayame said. I then asked Akira,"Then explain to us, why are you after them as well if Lord Karl sent us on this job as well."

"Well to be honest, it's true he has taken a liking to you Miss Ieysa, but he feels that trying to track them down will be task for you, so I did you a favour by looking for them myself but unfortunately every time you two find a trail or some clues they always go cold, that's because my doing you see I already know what they're up to."Akira explains as she had her legs crossed I then said,"If you do then tell us."

Akira folded her arms and said,"All right, for the last few weeks have one of you seen or heard anything out of the ordinary?" I said,"Now that you mention it, I did remember seeing a man named Richter and I wasn't sure if I was going crazy, but I remembered seeing a wolf with a eye patch over his eye."

"That was Shin in his wolf form and as for Richter, what was he doing?"Akira asked me. I said,"When I tried to get some answers out of him he just looked at Yui for some reason."

"I see, so my hunch was right after all."Akira said. Ayame then says,"What do you mean?" Akira stood up and said,"Let me ask you something, have you two heard of someone named Cordelia?" Ayame said,"I have, I heard she was the demon king's daughter and I think I remember hearing about her being a founder herself."

"Yes that's true, however, when I found her burnt corpse her heart was missing if I had to guess I'd say Richter stole her heart and now it might be inside of Yui." Akira said. Ayame said,"What makes you say that?"

"Think about it, the Mukami brothers kept calling her Eve because Yui has the ability to choose one of them and the Sakamkai brothers to become Adam and they also said that her blood tasted good as well and not to mention that Richter kept showing up at the Mansion as well watching Yui from the shadows." Akira explained.

Ayame and I were shocked by this and Ayame said,"So what you're saying is-" I said,"That Cordelia's heart is inside of Yui right now as we speak?"

"Yes, that's exactly what I'm thinking I was hoping I was wrong but I wasn't, it seems you two have caught on as well, I can tell from those looks in your eyes." Akira said in a serious tone. I said,"If that's the case what are we going to do?"

"There's nothing we can do, even if we did took Coredelia's heart out of Yui she would die instantly, the only thing we can do though is to make sure that the Mukami and the Sakamaki brothers don't suck too much of her blood." Akira said. I said,"I've been trying to do that before Ayame showed up but when ever I turn my back for at least a few minutes one of them is sucking her blood."

"Hehe, it's not an easy task is it? Anyway, you two better get back to the mansion I have a feeling those founders are about to show themselves soon." Akira said as she looks up at the sky. Ayame says, "Why?" I looked at Ayame and I said,"Ayame haven't you noticed? The lunar eclipse is coming soon that mean the Sakakmaki's and the Mukami's vampire powers will weaken when that happens."

"Ieysa is right, you two are the only people who can protect them at this rate."Akira said as she walked away from us. Ayame said,"Wait what about you? Aren't you going to help us?"

"No can do, I'm busy enough as it is in the demon world I have business I need to attend to I only came out today to track down the founders but I can trust you two to deal with them if they show up that is." Akira said with a smirk. I said,"All right thanks Akira and sorry about earlier."

"It's fine, Kura, Ayame, for now, see you later and be careful." Akira said with a wink and then green light surrounded her and then she vanished. Ayame said,"She's gone! How'd she do that?"

"I don't know, must a special power that only she contains but we better do what she says."I said. Ayame nods her head in agreement,"Yeah good point."

We got our weapons and then we headed back to the Mansion. On the next night Akira was right the founders were going to show themselves they have sent their familiars and they have also sent the level E vampires (A/N The vampires who lost their humanity and they've become vampires who can't control their lust for blood).
