Yui has been living here for almost a month, and yet hasn't seen me in person. She's only heard my voice. Yet, I go to school with them, in the same car every morning. She even thinks I'm a male. Foolish girl.

"Liu-kun, I've never seen your face. What do you look like?"

"I'm nearby. If you look, you'll find me easily." We were chatting outside the music room.
Yui had her head against the outside of the door.

"Where?" She walked down the hall, her footsteps disappearing as she became further away "Liu!? Where are you!?"

"You're too far away..." She ran back.

"Wait... I have a question." She paused "Are you like the others? Are you a vampire!?"

"..." I stopped

"Tell me, Liu!"

"Yes." I could hear her sob "I'm inside the room..." I turned up my music

Walking to your house

Nobody's home

"Liu?"

Just me and you

Alone...

We're just playing hide and seek

The door opened

I don't want to play no games

"L-Liu? Is that you?"

I don't give a fuck about you anyways

Whoever said I give a shit 'bout you?

"Hello?"

You never share your toys or communicate

I guess I'm just a play date to you.

I pulled off my headphones and opened my eyes. Yui was standing above me, awestruck.

"You-you're a girl?

"What else would I be?"

"I-I just assumed..."

"..."

"Im so sorry!"

"Don't apologize. Ayato-kun always tells me I sound like a boy. He calls me Bitch-kun and sometimes even Liu-kun as well."

"You're a lot like Shu-kun, then?"

"I like music, yes, but I don't sleep as often as him. I'm more like Kanato-kun."

"You don't act-" I grabbed her hand.

"You don't want to see me when I'm like that. I've been holding back my own hunger for your sake. I haven't eaten in months." She gasped. "I don't want to be that kind of friend, but vampire blood isn't filling."

"What do you mean by-"

"Subaru has been feeding me his blood lately. He said I looked deathly, even for a vampire." 

"You really have...Thank you."

"But...You smell...NO!" I grabbed my head. "THESE STUPID INSTINCTS!!!" I yelled into the silence of the school music room. "Run..."

"Wait- Liu?"

"RUN! JUST GO! I'll only hurt you..."  she sped away "Thank...you..."

This hunger...it's unbearable

"I'm a...monster."

"Liu?" Yui was back.

"You came back?! You fool! You just-" She walked closer and sat beside me. She revealed her shoulder.

"Liu. Drink your fill." I hugged her

"Thank you, Yui" I bit into her shoulder as gently as possible. Sweetness flooded my mouth, and I sucked just slightly. She whimpered lightly.

That's all I need.

I pulled away and licked off the rest of the red liquid from her shoulder.

"Sorry if it hurt." She smiled slightly at me

"You're actually more gentle than the others."

"Thank you, Yui."
