It's so cold...
Why.. is it so cold?

I shiver from the hard mattress, am I even on a mattress. Something's definitely wrong... my eyes shot open. And it takes sometime for my eyes to adjust from the dark room.

I'm not even on my bed, I'm on the cold hard floor. Where did I- what happened? How did I even end up here.

I looked around to see brick walls and a window with bars shielding me from escape. I look through it seeing the moonlight shining in. "Am I in a jail cell?!" I knock rapidly on the jail door. "Help! Is anyone there?!"

"Shhhh...." I look towards the hushing  person. "Stop making so much noise.."

"Ruki?" I say as he step outside the shadows. "Did you lock me in here?!" I yell tightening my grip on the steel bars.

"You gave me no choice, Eve." Ruki says walking towards me. "Your loyalty for that red head is charming but makes it so difficult for you to fall for me."

"OH IS THIS BECAUSE I REJECTED YOUR ASS!!" I yell at him. "IF YOU THINK LOCKING UP YOUR CRUSH TO FORCE THEM TO GO OUT WITH YOU, IS GONNA WORK THEN THAT'S WHERE YOUR WRONG!!"

Ruki rolls his eyes, "Tch, I don't need your love. All I need is to mate with the heart of the demon lord's daughter."

I cover my chest. "Okay first off, rape is never the answer!" Then I looked at him more closely. "And second the heart of the demonlord? You mean Cordelia's heart?"

He nods "Your body contains her heart, that's why I needed you.."

I shake my head, this was all starting to add up. This is the reason why I was kidnapped, why every bride wanted to rather die then to go through this.. My eyes widened, and I finally realized who was pulling the strings.

"Wait, this is the plan... This is what you owe to Karlheinz, in exchange of life he gave you a mission. A mission to capture my heart?" I scratch my head, this is so stupid! But what does this ketchup guy even want!! Ruki said something about mating, bu-

"Hmph, even a human like you could understand such a thing... Karlheinz saved us that day and we owe everything to him.." Ruki says looking down at his hand.

"What is Karlheinz planning? What does he want?!" I asked

Ruki smiles. "Oh don't worry about that, I'll be through with you before you could even find out." And he takes his leave, walking out before I could even ask any questions.

"RUKI!! YOU BETTER COME BACK HERE!!" I slam my fists into the steel bars. No answer, no one there..

I slumped against the door in defeat. I have no idea what's going on, I hug my knee to my chest. "No one's coming back for me.." the moonlight shining at me. "I'm all alone now.."
