Morgan's Pov

We had arrived at the new base. It was an old worn out Barn. The paint on it was chipping off and revealed a dark brown color showing it was an old building. Some of the roofs had collapsed in. Behind the Barn stood an old abandoned house looking even worse than the barn. The windows were shattered and the drapes inside were thrown about. the stairs getting in were broken and it was covered in vines. Why was I not surprised they picked here?

Shelby got out with me following behind her and then Josh. He sped walked in between Shelby and me probably to keep us from fighting. We got inside and A fire was lit in the middle of the barn with the old wood that had collapsed. The room began clapping and people came over clapping us on the backs. I looked around and saw my sister sitting beside Donovan. Her eyes glanced over to me but her face stayed straight. 

Josh began walking us up the stairs to an upper level and I saw Agatha on a chair looking at us. 

"Welcome back." She said plainly. She stood up and Josh stood straight with his hands behind his back. Agatha went up to him and she abruptly punched him making him fall to his knees and he shook a bit but he stood back up without a word as his eye began swelling. I kept looking straight and Agatha looked at me and then went to Shelby and she punched her hard making her fall. When Shelby didn't stand up she yelled making me jump.

"Get up!" She screamed. Shelby stood up fast and she shook as tears streamed down her face. Agatha looked at me and she slowly walked in front of me. I kept my breathing as steady as I could and my posture as good as I could. she grabbed my neck and walked to the edge of the upper level hanging me off of it and I saw Josh quickly turn his eyes to glance at me with a worried look but I gave him a reassuring look. 

Agatha growled at me and she this time she took a pocket knife out of her pocket. she put it on my cheek and sliced making me hiss in pain. She smirked and she abruptly dropped me making me fall to the floor at least 30 feet. When I hit the ground a few people laughed and someone rushed to my side holding my hand but I couldn't tell who it was due to my vision blurring and going black. The sound of ringing filled my ears. I looked up at where I fell from and noticed someone leaning over it looking at me. When that person began walking down the stairs, it all went black.

My eyes shot open and I looked around but I quickly closed my eyes because of how bright the light was. I felt arms wrap around me abruptly and someone's tears soaking my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around them knowing instantly that it was my sister. 

"I-I'm sorry." She said. I held her close to me and I gently kissed her head. 

"It's alright. It's okay." I whispered. She shook in my arms so I just held her being there for her until she calmed down and she laid by my side. 

"What happened? I-I left for a second because you know how I am when I'm mad, and you were gone." She said. I opened my eyes finally being able to look around and I saw I was in an old room with a few medical supplies around me. I looked back at my sister. 

"I went to go home. They fixed up my shoulder and sent me on my way. You didn't really seem like you wanted to be with me." I said. She tensed and she snuggles closer to me. " I got you. It's alright." I said and she stayed silent just laying with me. Eventually, she fell asleep beside me and I reached my free arm up and felt my head feeling a headband of gauze around my head. I let out a sigh. Suddenly the door opened fast and Agatha was there glaring at me.

"You. Morgan. Up. Now." She said each word individually. I looked at her and I stood up slowly being careful of my sister. "I'm assigning you your first mission, and you'll have partners." She said. I nodded.

"What are the details?" I asked. She looked at me and glared. 

"You, Josh, and Your sister will be going on a mission. There will be a woman there by the name of Venette Quantum. She will have a valuable Jewel on her that we need to get. We'll go over more details tomorrow when we have our meetings. Don't be late." She walked out of the room without even saying the time and I sighed. 

"well fan-freaking-tastic. Can't wait." I said sarcastically. I laid back down next to my sister and looked at her as she slept. "Cute." I carefully fell asleep holding her close to me.

I woke up to my sister shaking me quickly and I squeaked a bit and sat up trying to gently swat her away. 

"I'm awake I'm awake be patient." I laughed slightly. 

"Get your butt ready. We have a meeting in 10." She said. I got up and I quickly ran my hands through my hair getting to look somewhat nice. I took the wrap around my head off and I grabbed my sister's hand and began running. No way in hell would I be late for this. My first mission meeting? 

We arrived there around 10 minutes before it was supposed to start. Thank, the gods. I looked at Josh and Agatha who were standing there with their arms crossed over their chests. Josh glared at me. Oh great. Back at it again. 

"You two aren't late. Good." Agatha nodded. "Get over here so we can start this meeting." 

My sister and I walked over to the table seeing plans set out. Multiple floors of a building and red dots signaling where people were going to be. Damn. They really have everything planned out. Josh pointed to a dot that was next to a purple dot. Oh, fantastic. That's me. 

"Morgan. You have to be positioned here during this. Venette will be right here." He pointed to the purple dot. I nodded. "You'll have to figure out how to get the Moonlit gems. The necklace she'll be wearing will have the gems on it. We need to extract the gems. Layla, you'll be the one taking out guards by her room." 

"On it. I got my trusty knife handy and ready to go." She smiles and she brought it out flipping it around her fingers a bit showing off. 

"Actually," Agatha said. "You'll be needing something a bit more than a knife." she walked over to a part of the area covered in a blanket or something. she grabbed it and she lifted it revealing a sword and my sister was by it within 30 seconds admiring it. 

"A Rapier." She said in awe. She grabbed the handle and lifted it. She swung it a bit smiling as it hit the air around it. Agatha went to Josh handing him a sniper rifle. He smirked looking at it. 

"I get to use this sucker." Josh looked at me and I sighed. I was the thief. The chances I would get something actually nice to help was slim. That's when Agatha came over with a dark blue dress. in the sides, there were parts that were cut out revealing some of my sides. and the area around the waist had white jewels around it. the dress when down to my ankles and the straps on it rested on the shoulders. Fantastic. I got a dress. 

"This is your disguise," she said. Great. a disguise that makes me stand out more than I probably already would. I grabbed it gently and I nodded. Agatha went to the board and pointed to an area outside of everywhere where a red dot was stationed. "Josh. This is where you'll be." Josh nodded and he smirked holding his rifle looking through the scope. "And Vampire Bat, which Layla that's you, you'll be the one going around the perimeter taking guards out." 

"Hell yeah." She smiles twirling the sword around and I looked at my dot. 

"When do we start?" I asked. Agatha looked at me.

"Be back here in an hour." She said simply and then she walked away and I sighed. 

"I have to get ready. I refuse to wear make-up." I said as I started walking away. 

"Sorry to say it sissy, but I'm pretty sure you are going to have to wear make-up." She laughed quietly. 

"If I can't put it on, I don't wear it. Most I can put on is mascara." I said as I walked into my room and shut the door.
