If she likes me then why did she turn me down for the dance?

I have to ask her. I can't just go on without knowing. I left my house and thankfully she was just at the park so I didn't have to drive anywhere. 

"Hey,"I said getting her attention.

"Oh hey," she said looking up from her phone.

"So who are you going to the dance with?"I asked.

"Nobody,"she said.

Okay, let's try this again.

"So would you like to go with me?"I asked.

"I can't go,"she said.

"Why?"I asked.

"Because," she said.

"Because what? Because is not an excuse or a valid reason," I said.

Damn, I sound like a teacher. 

"Because I can't dance," she said.

I burst out laughing. Once I was calm I looked at her and of course she seemed upset.

"Acha sorry. I shouldn't laugh, but yeh koi excuse hai?"I asked.

She didn't say anything.

"So your going and it is final that you are going. That to with me," I said.

"Okay,"she said.

---Day of the dance---

Your POV

I didn't know what to wear to the dance. I had never gone to one, because I always thought that I just wouldn't fit in there. 

I decided to wear blue dress that was full length. I didn't want to seem to fancy and then not way to simple. I added some jewelry with it and did my make-up. 

Once we got to the hall I got really nervous.

"Your going to be fine. Come on," Shehry said and we went inside. 

"Where the hell is everyone?"I asked.

"I don't know," he said. 

Someone told us that they had taken the dance to a place outside. I just asked myself why they would do that, but once I saw the setting I knew the answer.

Once we got there everyone was all busy so I immediately relaxed once again. It was a slow dance music and the song Wanted by Hunter Hayes came on.

"May I have this dance?" He asked.

"Sure," I said.

In the middle of the song it started to rain but I don't why we didn't move. I guess everyone wants to dance in the rain.

Definitely gonna be a memorable night. The rain coming down, me in his arms; seriously, going to perfect. I know it.
