For oyetannu_ihura

Today was your birthday. You were so excited, but a bit upset that you had to work on your birthday. All because two people called in sick. 

You went into the break room and to your locker as your shift was over. You grab your bag and start to put your stuff away. 

Suddenly someone covers your eyes. You were startled at first but then heard his angelic voice. 

"Guess who?"He said probably smiling due to his enthusiastic tone. 

"Shehry," you chuckle. 

"YEP!"He says as he uncovers your eyes. 

"Come with me,"he says. "I have a surprise for you."

He takes your hand in his and leads you out. 

You go with to wherever he's taking you. You try to ask but he won't budge. 

He parks at your house and you guys get out of the car. 

"Care to explain mister?"You ask.

"Still nope,"he said. 

You open the door and abruptly you hear everyone yell, "Happy Birthday Thanisha!"

You smile uncontrollably. One your friends puts a birthday hat on and without realization tears stream down your face. 

"Why are you crying?"Shehry asked concerned. 

"Oh uuumm, happy tears,"you say. 

"Oh good,"he says as he wipes them with his thumb. 

You stare deeply into his eyes and he does the same. He leans and kisses you softly.  You both smile into the kiss. 

"Happy birthday love,"he says.
