Memories Aren't Worth Remembering
(Caution. Major feels ahead.)
I looked outside and sighed. We finally managed to clean the house. I had to bury what was left of my former friends. The others comforted me but it didn't help.
All I could think about was their screams. The pure agony that flowed through my ears as if it was beautiful music. I couldn't sleep and even if I did I would usually have a nightmare. Then Lenny would probably comment on my poor effort to have a good dream. But none of it mattered. The past is the past and I have to get over it.
I felt a hand on my shoulder. I thought it was Lenny again so I smacked it away. "Fuck off, Lenny." The person stood there for a second. They walked away without saying a word. I walked away from the window and went outside. Sadly, I sat at Harry and Robin's graves. I was overwhelmed with guilt and started crying, again. It started to rain.
I stared up at the sky, the raindrops mixing with my tears. "Why...what did they do to deserve this?!" I growled when I didn't receive an answer. "Answer me dammit!!" I covered my face and sobbed hard. "What's wrong with me?!"
