Author's Note : Always wanted to write my own Choose Your Own Adventure so I did. I hope it flows well but if it doesn't please tell me. Also tell me if there are mistakes or it feels repetitive.

PROLOGUE

Dewin the Wizard was out to prove himself. He came from a long line of some of the greatest wizards in the kingdom, all of them revered by the masses, something he was not. Wanting this to change, he decided to enter a most dangerous land to retrieve a wonderous and magical artifact. And that's where we start the story.

Dewin stood in front of the large wooden door to the Shadow Land, the Stone of Silence somewhere on the other side.

Adjusting his shabby robes to make himself look more masterly, Dewin gave out a deep breath. He then launched himself at the door, it swinging open with a groan.

A cavernous room waited on the other side, its stone walls illuminated by glowing blue veins. The room was quite empty apart from --

'An ice monster,' said Dewin, his eyes going wide. 'Wonderful. I guess we're diving in straight away.'

The ice monster, it's hulking furry white body touching the craggy ceiling, was burning a hole in Dewin with its blue piercing eyes. 

'I see you're guarding something,' Dewin said to the monster. Two doors stood at the opposite end of the room. 'Will you let me pass?'

The ice monster roared in response, it's stinking foul breath punching Dewin in the face.

'Well, I'm sorry for what I'm about to do.'

The get to the doors, Dewin must defeat the ice monster. Cast a spell.

Dewin has 10 mana available to use. His spells include Fire (costing 1 mana), Levitation (costing 2 mana), Summoning Fluffy, his dragon familiar (costing 3 mana), and Special (costing 10 mana).

To cast Fire, turn to page 2.
