Chapter 7

(I ♡ Comments :) )

As Dewey was walking to his younger brother's room, his mind began racing with thoughts. No thought was positive.

'What if he hates me now? What is he doesn't want to talk? He probably doesn't want to see me. What's the point of even going over there if he's just going to kick me out. I'm a terrible brother, I shouldn't even deserve to live. Why do I even try? Why do I even yell when nobody even sees me? Why don't they just give me a bit of attention?' These thoughts filled his mind, which in turn caused him to turn back around and run out of the manor and into the streets. He panted heavily, trying to catch his breath as he rested against a lamp post. He felt his phone buzz in his shirt pocket and pulled it out.

'Dewey, please come home! DX' The text from Huey read.

'How the helldo you even know I'm outside!?' Dewey messaged back.

'Tracking device, we all have it.' The red triplet texted.

'Ugh! You sicko! Just leave me alone!!!!!' Dewey sent the message and stared at his phone before throwing it into the bushes next to him so they wouldn't find him. He caught his breath before he started walking again, muttering to himself about everything that had happened in the past two days. How everything with Bryan and Jake, and the drinking and smoking. Was it really worth it? Did he really have to do this? Because his brothers lost track of where he was. Everything had changed, Louie was a lot more scared and sensitive, and Huey. Oh god, he didn't even want to think about it, it was just, terrible to know that his very own brother had a crush on him. Why though? What was going on? It's all too much! He couldn't take it anymore! Suddenly, the middle triplet bumped into someone, hard, and fell to the floor.

"Ow, ow, ow!" He muttered.

"Hey! Watch where you're going you little twerp!" The person yelled. Dewey sat up, immidiatley stuttering multiple apologies. The person saw the cut on the blue triplet's left cheek, his eyes widening. "Oh, I-I'm sorry, I didn't know you were, one of us."

"What?" Dewey asked, looking up.

"The scar," The guy pointed his own scar. "Let me help you up."

"Um, thanks? I guess." Dewey stood up with the hell of the other gang member.

"You're the new guy right?" He asked.

"Yeah, why?" The middle triplet dusted himself off before looking back up at the slightly taller male.

"Bryan has been looking all over for you, he actually got worried when you weren't at school. Which is weird, since he never cares about anyone."

"Oh, well, can you take me to him?" Dewey asked, tilting his head.

"O-kay? Sure, I mean if you want to. Follow me."

"Oh, what's your name by the way, and, I'm Dewey."

"Oh, hey Dewey, I'm Robert." He replied dully.

"So, does the gang always hang out in the alley?" He asked.

"No, we have an abandoned apartment building all to ourselves, it's pretty awesome." Robert amswered.

"O-Oh, um, abandoned, huh?"

"Yep, but, aren't you a bit, young, to be in a gang?" The older on asked. Dewey crossed arms and looked up at him.

"How old doyou even think I am?" He asked, pretending to be offended, even though he knew that he was technically too young to do anything.

"I don't know ten." Robert shrugged.

"I'm fourteen Robert, I can take care of myself." Dewey claimed, half of what he said being true.

"Okay, okay, Mr. I'm old enough." Dewey rolled his eyes. They walked back into the same alley from before, but this time went up the fire escape and into the abandoned building next to it. "Hey! I found the new guy!" He called out.

"Great, now stand aside!" Bryan yelled.

"Um, hi, Brya, I-" Dewey was interupted by a slap to the face. "Hey! What the hell!?"

"You think you can just skip the one day that is most important to the gang!?" Bryan yelled, he grabbed Dewey's arm and dragged him to a side room.

"Hey! Let go!" Dewey yelled.

"No! You're staying on this room until I say you can come out!"

"You're not the boss of me!!" The blue triplet tried pulling his arm back.

"When you're in the Ivies, I'm the only person you listen to." Bryan then proceeded to throw Dewey into the room, which was dark, due to the setting sun.
