Chapter 10

(I 💙 Comments 😛)

The next day, which was a Friday, Louie woke up surprisingly early. Earlier than Huey, which was strange. The sun was still down, but even rising when he decided to leave the manor. He stuffed his hands in his sweater pockets, mumbling rude things about a certain brother. He wandered down the streets and into the city, entering a certain alley. He looked around and sighed when he saw no one there.

"Of course, and when I need their help too." He muttered.

"Hey! Who's there!?"

"What a coincidence..." Louie continued. He turned around, his arms crossed as he looked up the taller male.

"Oh, it's you. What do you want?" The person asked.

"Seriously Rob? Can't you call me by my name, we've known each other for a while." Louie claimed.

"Fine, Louie! But really, what the hell do you want?" Robert asked.

"Well, if you really want to know..." The green triplet pulled Robert down and whispered something to him.

"He got out? I thought he was still locked up in that room." The older male looked up at the room that Dewey had been in earlier. "Shit, yeah I guess we could do that."

"You don't need Bryan's permission, do you?" Robert scoffed.

"No way, me and my friends in the 'you know what' can handle a little ki-" Louie covered his beak.

"Sh, shut up! If anyone finds out you're doing this we'll all get into some deep shit."

"Wow, what happened to that sweet and sensitive Lou-Lou that I first met?" Robert questioned, leaning against a wall.

"Shut up, it's just an act. I get whatever the hell I want if I act vulnerable like that." The youngest triplet crossed his arms and glared at his upperclassmen.

"Why do you even want me to, you know, do that?" Robert took out a cigar and held it in his mouth, lighting it right after.

"Cause he took something that was supposed to be mine," Louie explained.

"You can't exactly own people anymore, you know?"

"I don't need a history lesson, Robert!" The green triplet yelled.

"Shit, calm the fuck down I was just saying." The older of the two held out the carton of cigars down to him. "Want one?"

"Bleh, I'll pass."

"Come on, you haven't had one in what? A year or so?"

"No way, I quit for a reason, okay?" Louie explained, turning away from him.

"Suit yourself, Lou," Robert muttered. There was silence between the two as the sun started rising. There was a small wind that blew past them, a few clouds appearing in the sky. The sixteen-year-old looked down at Louie before looking back up and straight ahead of him. "I miss you, you know."

"Shut up and get over it." Louie muttered.

"Come on Lou, it wasn't that bad of a-"

"Don't, say it." The green triplet said between gritted teeth.

"Louie, really, why did you-?"

"I said, don't say it! Don't bring it up! Ever!" Robert sighed and nodded.

"Alright, but I really don't understand how you got out of the gang."

"I was never in it, I just had a way of getting what I wanted from you guys." The youngest triplet looked down at his phone and sighed. "I better get gking, school starts soon and I'm pretty sure Huey's gonna want us to go today."

"Alright, see you there?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Hey, Lou." Rob called out.

"What!?" Louie snapped.

"Kiss?"

"Fuck off Robert, see ya later." Louie began walking away from the alley, making his way back to the manor right as his brother's walked out the front door.

"Louie!" They shouted in unison.

"Hey guys, sorry...I just needed some fresh air." Louie said quietly.

"Are you okay? You're not sick, right?" Huey placed a hand on his forehead.

"I'm fine Hue." The green triplet smiled softly as his forehead was touched.

"Okay, go inside and get your stuff, we'll wait for you right here." Louie nodded and smiled sweetly at Huey before looking over at Dewey and giving him a cold stare before walking into the manor to get his things.

"Did you see that?" Dewey asked once he was sure that Louie had him inside.

"See what?" The red triplet questioned looking up at the sky and seeing the clouds.

"Nevermind." The middle triplet muttered, looking down at the floor. Louie walked out of the manner a few seconds after.

"Here you go Hue. It looks like it's gonna rain, so I brought you your umbrella."

"Thanks Lou." Huey smiled as he grabbed the red umbrella from his baby brother's hand as they started walking to school.

"I couldn't find your umbrella Dewey." Louie lied. "Sorry."

"Oh, that's fine, I don't mind getting a bit wet from the rain." Dewey said kindly, but actually caring if he got wet or not.

"Oh no, no, no, no, no. We're sharing my umbrella, I don't want you getting sick." The eldest triplet stated.

"Awe, thanks Huey." Dewey smiled at his brother and kissed his cheek, making them both blush.

"He didn't see so he?" Huey whispered to Dewey.

"I don't think so, that'd be kind of awkward." The middle triplet laughed softly as they continued walking. Louie growled under his breath, his hands gripping his umbrella.

'They seriously think I don't know!? I swear, Robert and his group better do a good job later tonight. They better out him somewhere not even they could get back to.' The green triplet laughed quietly at his thoughts. 'Then I can have Huey all to myself, and no one is going to stop me from collecting my prize.'
