When my sister was in kindergarten her teacher told her that it was impossible to lick her elbow. My sister says, "nothing is impossible with God." It's true but a lot of the time we don't really believe it. We don't think anything will come out of our prayers. God is all powerful, there is nothing He can't do. He typically stays follows the natural laws that He created to help us, so that we know what to expect from the world, but that doesn't mean that's all He can do. Some people don't believe in Jesus because He was born from a virgin or because of the miracles and I honestly don't understand that, if I'm going to believe in the Son of God who created the universe then there is no question in my mind that He can do those things and more. There is no limit to what He can do and I think we miss that a lot. We forget that the all powerful king is willing to listen to you whenever you pray. God is our King not an equal friend but our Lord. Sometimes we forget to have a respectful fear of Him despite how powerful He is.
