I really don't like roller coasters so when I go on one I hold on really tightly to the seat. I know that if something malfunctions and the seat doesn't keep me in the ride I won't be able to save myself by holding onto the handles but I cling to them anyways. Sometimes we all go about life that way too, trying to hold on and keep control when really we aren't in control of anything. We have such little control over our lives and what happens that thinking we can do everything our way and be fine is very amusing. God does have control though and He's like the seat belt keeping you safe. Life has highs and lows but God is always there with us. It doesn't mean we won't get hurt and it doesn't mean everything will be alright but God is right there with you with a plan to make good come out of everything that happens. You don't need to try to keep your control because it is better in God's hands. God actually has control so it makes sense to surrender all your control to Him and give it to someone who knows what's going to happen and loves you.
