Are we ever prepared for life? No way. Are we ever prepared for a life with God? Yes, we are. It's because we are usually raised well in churches with members who try to give us the nudge towards God and Salvation. I was raised with going to only 1 church far outside of home before we moved to another one and there I accepted salvation from God and His Son. When I first accepted salvation, I did so because my younger sister was sincerely doing so as well. My parents went along with it and continually prayed for me throughout the years until I finally was able to do so sincerely. You see, members of our original church didn't try to nudge me to God because I gave the impression that I was already saved by God. That was until we transferred churches and if God hadn't shown us a new church, then I probably wouldn't have God's salvation. I mean, God only knows this sort of stuff that could've happened. Either way, I'm sure I would've had God's salvation because I had the most wonderful Christian parents that prayed for me even when I didn't know it and didn't want it. But still, was I prepared for a lfie with God and salvation? Yes, I was fully prepared to accept it. Was I truly prepared for the sufferings living a life for God can bring upon one? No, no I wasn't. No one ever is. But it doesn't matter because as long as I have God on my side, I know that I can overcome anything. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." – Philippians 4:13 NKJV. There will be people out there who are Christians and think that just by being saved, you have a one-way ticket to Heaven and you don't need to worry about anything anymore and don't have to do anything. Just live your life. They are wrong. God is about more than just accepting His salvation. God is about sharing His love to others around the world and furthering His kingdom. There will always be times where we suffer in life because of being Christians, but as long we can trust in God and persevere then we can overcome the obstacles of suffering in life. Give me Your strength Lord and heal me. Help me to persevere and further Your kingdom with Your almighty strength. Forgive me for my fears and temptations and help me overcome the obstacles in life.
