CHAPTER FIVE
SHE WATCHED, still tied up, while the weeping monk opened his eyes, unsurprised. It's like he was waiting for this moment. How clever of him. She finally realized why he decided to keep them, their bait. Struggling to break free from the ropes, to warned them, she watched the scene that was unfolding in front of him.
"Tie him up."
Another man pulls the monk up, taunting him.
"I think we've caught the big killer." He smiled upon his other companions. Her lips quivered, they didn't know the truth. It was a bait, a trap.
"Josse," She began to plead for his attention. "Josse!" She tried to yelled out only to be ignored.
She noticed when one man began to speak to the weeping monk. "Look at the eyes. Shed a few for us, brother?" Josse began to walk the opposite direction, continuing speaking. "Get me a nice red one, Grim."
They began walking. That's when a woman approached her trying to break the ropes. She still watches their interaction, trying to help.
"Even been dragged by a horse with hot coal up its bum?" Josse asked. The monk gives an uneasy look, "Not that I can recall," he responds.
"Enough. Josse-" Squirrel chimes in, "Just kill him, Josse!"
Soon enough, Josse turned to the monk with disgust, taking a look at her and than Squirrel finally turning his attention at the monk. "It doesn't mean you can go kidnapping people, or burning their villages to the grave. What did you have in mind for Gwen and Squirrel, you sick bastard?" He started speaking to him. Immediately, the ropes untied, she ran towards him.
"We're bait, Josse. Run." She screamed causing both men surrounding the monk to turned to look at her confused.
"She's not wrong," The monk replied.
"Be still, Goliath." All men looked at the weeping monk, confused. Gwen quickly made it over to Squirrel who stood shocked. "Come on, let me help you," she began to break loose his ropes.
"For you." The monk whispered lowering his head, waiting to make the right move.
In seconds, Squirrel and her watched in horror what unfolded in front of them. The weeping monk punches both men, pulling another man to reigns of his horse, strangling him to his death. Once the dead body fell onto the floor, the other fighters charged at him. Despite being tied up, he manages to break it, jumping over slicing a man's throat. He then grabbed a dagger, throwing to running figures who had begun to run to escape.
"Josse. Run!"
She could see the weeping monk charging forward after killing everybody else. An axe appears, he charges it killing Josse, slicing his neck open. Wisp's tears began to roll down her face. Nobody is left but Squirrel and her.
"You killed everybody! How satisfied you must be?" She mocked him as tears ran down her cheeks. The monk turned to look at her who stood upright, beside Squirrel. The monk immediately began walking towards her, she backed away, slowly only to tripped causing her to fall onto the ground. The monk took one look at her then begin to cut the ropes that Squirrel was tied to.
"You tell your Fey brethren, what you saw here. Tell them, I'm coming." Squirrel falls to the ground beside her. They both looked up to face the weeping monk staring at them.
"Go." He began urged them. Squirrel and Gwen took one glance to look at each other, stumbling to get on their feet trying to run away from him. Gwen stopped halfway in the middle forest to take one last look at him, once she did she saw how he stared back emotionless.
"Gwen!" Squirrel yelled. Gwen shakes her head, taking some deep breaths. She gulps, taking one last look at him then running towards the Squirrel direction.
She hoped they never meet again. How wrong was she?

BORO POINT OF VIEW
He had spent day's trying to follow Gwen's footsteps, no luck. They arrived in the Hawksbridge that morning he had Pym by his side. He managed to save her from being attacked by an old man, almost killed. "Why are we here? You haven't noticed there are plenty of paladins."
Boro didn't bothered to answer back. He admits Pym had been talking for countless hours explaining how terrible it must have been for Dewdenn to be attacked. "Are you trying to see if Gwen had arrived here?" Pym spoke up, with a soft smile. Boro turned to her, stared for a bit, noticing how messy her hair had been and clothes. "Stay by me, Pym. This village tends to be overcrowded." He asked.
She nodded eagerly, staying right behind him. As soon as they entered, they saw people running all over the place. It seem like it was market day. He wore black suit and put his hair in a ponytail, and wore a black cloak to cover himself. They began walking through the crowds only to hear loud voices.
"I heard someone calling for my name," Pym answered. He looked at her confused, she was right. When suddenly, she was yanked by a person. He stared upon a taller man who wore nothing but a simple t-shirt and pants.
"Pym!"
"Aaron?" Pym replied back, confusion. Boro stood there unsure what to do. He didn't know who he was. Is he a threat to her? Or more like a friend? "Aaron this Boro, Gwen brother." Boro sent a smile to the young tall overweight boy, smiling so graciously. "I heard so much about you." Aaron answered truthfully, "Gwen is such a lovely girl. Where is she?" He asked. Boro didn't stayed silent staring emotionless, he didn't know either.
"Something terrible has happened to the village. Gwen is missing." Pym spoke for Boro. Aaron raised his eyebrows, shocked. Then proceeded to grab her hand pulling her along. "Come meet my mother."
Pym immediately widened her eyes in disbelief. "Boro?!" She let out a groan. Immediately, he had two choices to do: leave and try to find Gwen or follow Pym. He looked back once more how Aaron tugged her along. He is going to regret this. He went after her.

"See? It's Pym, Mum." Aaron spoke to his mother who sighed, placing the wet clothes onto the ground walking over to see his son and the girl, he's been so desperately talking about. Boro stood beside Aaron, watching the scene unfold.
"The girl from the river, who sells the nets?" His mother observed the girl. Boro watched as Pym looked frightened standing in front of her. Suddenly the mother turned to look at him, curiously. "Mine, who's this fine lad?" She questioned. He began touching his muscles, on his chest, he was flattered. He didn't mind. "This Boro he is looking for his missing sister." Immediately the woman's eyes fell.
"A Fey?" Both of you?" She questioned Boro and Pym. Both of them send a questioned look. The woman quickly changed her mind, "They'll burn us. Aaron, send them back."
"You won't!" Aaron spoke loudly. "It's Pym's home now too, Mother. Because we're going to be married." Boro widened his eyes, he couldn't understand. He watched as Pym simply gaped in disbelief. This can't be true. She barely met the boy.
"Sorry, I, Uh. . . didn't quite catch that."
"That's right. We've pledged troth in the eyes of God nothing will change that. She's as good as your own daughter now. Your own Christian daughter now." Aaron placed his arms around her shoulders. Pym couldn't understand how she got herself in this mess.
The one person she wanted to be is with Boro.

Pym and Boro walked through the amount of crowds that were witnessing a stoning. He watched among the crowds, Pym stood beside him.
"Burn her! Burn the heathen witch!
"No!" Pym cried out a little, standing beside Boro. He couldn't help himself by staying emotionless. These are dark times, cruel times.
The crowd still chanted. "Burn her! Burn the witch! Burn the witch! Burn to pieces!" Immediately, a man in a red cloak steps forward standing beside the woman who is tied up.
"Behold the Demon of Dewdenn!" Boro furrows his eyebrows. What did they mean? What demon? "Horns she chokes off so that she could hide amongst you. Her mother was the Chief Witch of Dewdenn." Immediately, Boro began to get a closer look.
Nimue.
Pym followed right behind and couldn't believe what they were saying. Nimue is captured?
"And thought we cut the head of the snake down and she survived. The Wolf-Blood Witch. She is a demon who killed one of our dear brothers. But his sacrifice was not in vain. For today this witch will know the cleansing power of god." The crowd began to get wild yelling.
"Burn her! Burn her!" Pym eyes began to get teary. She was glad it wasn't Nimue but that woman was a person. Who knows? She might have been there by force. Boro noticed this slowly held onto her hand. Pym gasped to feel Boro's soft hand on top of her's. They watched in pain, sorrow as they burned the woman within the fire.

Pym felt forced to listen to Aaron's mother 's orders. She began to mopped on the blood that was splattered on the floor near the dock ship's. She couldn't help it to be a girl, and can't be strong enough to help Aaron mother with the construction.
She began to mop when she heard mumbling in the distance between two red monks.
"And the Wolf-Blood witch? The one they burned? My money, she's smuggled down the Beggar's Coast." The two men began to laughed.
"They burned that one for Rome." The other man continued to laugh. "Nah. I reckon. She's heading to Gramaide." The monk stopped and paused for a long period. "All the roads are closed. They're putting a lot of bodies on this." She kept mopping trying to listen to more. Not noticing, she touched his ropes.
"Oi!"
"Oh! Sorry." Pym whispered refusing to meet their eyes.
"Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. I'm so sorry." She kept repeating. The two monks groaned in annoyance. "Next time, we will make you eat it." One of the monks pushed the bucket to fall causing all the blood and guts to splatter on the floor. Pym frowned seeing that she had to clean it again. In frustration, she threw the mop onto the floor plopping onto the ground, using her hand's to cleaned the fish guts on the floor placing them on the bucket.
Then a large figure appeared blocking her sunlight.
Boro.
"It seems like you couldn't have made a better fool of yourself." Pym rolls her eyes and continues to do her work. "You all right?" He then continued. She looked up, "Yeah."
"Uh. . . no, actually, my . ." Boro raised his eyebrow handing out his hand, she took it pulling her up. Slowly, Boro noticed blood on his hand. "Sorry about that, fish guts."
"Well, there is no shame in hard work. You don't do well, so far," he sarcastically replied. Pym smiled, "I've worked very hard."
"So it seems. Be careful, next time." He told her, causing her to nod. He looked once more at his hand, frowning. He then looked up to share a smile with her, they began laughing.
"Minnow? Minnow?"
"Oh, gods." She spoke, not wanting to turn around. Boro chuckled, "It seems your husband awaits you."
"You know very well, he isn't." She argued back. Boro let out a sign. "Just remember, okay do your part. I've done my share." He told her remembering she must play the part as a doting daughter in law and he must flirt with Aaron's mother. She frowned, rolling her eyes. "Oh, gods end me." She turned around and began walking to Aaron.
Boro watched as Pym walked over to Aaron. He than turned to watch the sea. He stared afar thinking about his sister. He needed to find her. He had made a promise to his father when they were younger before he was murdered. Promise me. Those words still haunt him he began to take some deep breaths, gulping out of fear. Slowly he turn to a straight to near side, seeing a large ship, it looked like a Viking ship. He stared in silence at the ship, he now knew what he needed to do. Tonight, it's the day
they will escape. Pym and him will leave tonight, getting on the ship tomorrow morning. His mind pour in his own thoughts.
He will find her.
