the minute peter left the avenger's tower in search of you, he started creating heartfelt apologies to say to you, but none of them felt right. after running down the streets of queens while putting together his words, he landed at your door.

once you answered the rather creaky door, he immediately started rambling.

his little impromptu speech is what brought you to where you were, standing against your locker as you talked with ned and michelle.

peter was making his way towards your spot, the weather being displayed on the television above him. he took one simple look, and it brought a smile to his face when he saw sunshine for the rest of the week. he felt as if ever since you two declared it official, the days had been rather amazing.

he turned the corner, meeting your eyes and smiling even wider than before. peter held out his arms as he walked closer, and as soon as he got close enough, you enveloped yourself in his arms. ❝hey.❞ was enough to melt your heart.

❝hey there, spiderboy,❞ you whispered, only loud enough for the two of you to hear before you pressed a delicate kiss to his cheek and returned your attention to your friends.
